This is the best Lowe's in Pirate'cola! Derek in the Nursery told us so. Hahah We love Derek! To Lowe's management: Mr. Derek, in the Nursery helped my hubby & I load very heavy pavers multiple times the last couple weeks with not only a smile but also was a pleasant conversationalist & a super cool positive spirit to boot! We appreciated his help & time tremendously. Derek helped me load on occasion & he helped hubby load, we made several trips. What a lovely person you have as a employee! Like me, he also lost his mother early & we had a lovely conversation about how important moms are. WOW. He is the most genuine sweet super special person I have met in a long time. Hubby & I both enjoyed meeting him & want to give him a special thank you for all his help & kindness! Absolutely worthless company. We have been trying for a month to get any assistance from this local store in buying and installing vinyl flooring. Lots of promises, lots of guarantees, but when we try to actually buy a product or arrange installation, well, '...there's a complication...'. Every single time. It appears that deception and misleading 'guidance' is the standard operating practice at Lowes. It's not an issue of money; I'll swear, I'd pay more to be able to locate an honest, dependable company. Clearly, this isn't it. BTW -- I went to the web site to try and complain through that route. Robert and Stewart (in paint) are the rudest man I've never had the disadvantage of of trying to ask for help. I stood there clearly confused and turned around for a second to hear Stewart telling Robert (she's looking at me) and didn't do anything about it. Then after another minute, I'm standing there looking like an idiot I look again because I can see them both there not doing anything and he says to Robert in a sarcastic tone (now she's looking at both of us). Like I can hear you. I had to interject and say "yes, I need some help please". I brought the product over to them for them to open it so I could do what it looked like and Robert was extremely rude able it. Making me feel like I'm a completely incompetent human being. Never have I ever been treated so poorly. The ONLY reason I'm giving this review two stars is because there was one beautiful soul named Priscilla (spelling may be incorrect) who went out of her way to find information for me. On the day I visited this store, I actually visited 4 other Lowe's store. This store had the best selection, but more importantly, it had the most friendly and helpful employees. I called to make sure they had what I needed before heading that way. I spoke with a gentleman named Kelly who looked in the system for my product number and told me it said they had 40, but he was pretty sure it was more like 20 because he knew exactly what I was looking for. I was impressed that he was familiar with the merchandise in his department. When I got there, there was Kelly, helping another customer. As soon as he finished with her, asked me if I needed help and told him what I was looking for. He asked if I was Ashley and showed me exactly where the tiles were located. He showed me individual packages and the multi-packs. While I was deciding, he told me he was going to step down an aisle and that's where he would be if I needed any more assistance. I took my tiles to the front of the store and checked out. The cashier was friendly and helpful as well. If this Lowe's store was closer to my house, I might shop at Lowe's more often. By far the worst place I've ever done business. I spent right at $5000 to put all new appliances in my new house. They were to be delivered which was discussed when I purchased the appliances. Only to be called and told no that's too far we don't want to go that far. Take it from me avoid doing any business with this Lowe's. I would advise Lowe's management to read reviews and then concern themselves with the issues that are plaguing basically every one of their stores. I placed an online order over a day ago at Lowes on Airport. The system took the order, charged my card and then that's where it ended. No acknowledgement of filling the order and/or progress on the order. I canceled it well into a day later. I'm patient but this is ridiculous. I could have gone there and gotten it myself which is what I will do today or tomorrow. If they can't fill online orders for pickup, then stop the process of doing this. They get a one star from me for failing in this area. Lowes has gone from dependable and quick in 2020 to quite the opposite in 2021. read more

I initially called Home Depot because we needed to replace a leaky dishwasher and was met with an extremely rude woman on the other end. Lowe's was a refreshing difference in many ways. The people on the phone were super friendly. In person, Will Fox in appliance went way out of his way to help us find the right appliance and also improve others in the house. I am sadly far from handy, so Larry walked me around to get all of the parts I would need to install it, and Greg was patient and helpful at customer service coordinating our purchase and assistance even though it was time for him to take a break. 3 for 3, I am pleasantly surprised and will definitely return more often. Waited almost 30 minutes for curbside pickup. I called to let them know I've checked in and had been waiting. I was put on hold, then he came back on the line to confirm that I was at the right location, in the # space that I said I was when checking in, etc. he seemed extremely confused as if he didn't even know they offered curbside or something. He asked what kind of car I was in and said he'd come out and look for me. So Mike comes out and skims the parking lot with his eyes but completely avoids looking in the curbside area's direction which was right in front of him. My friend waved her arms out of the window, I honked etc before he just walks inside, didn't get back on the line after putting me on hold. So I hung up and walked inside to see mike standing next to another man (Eddie) at customer service. I wait to be helped while the other man was with a customer. Mike just stood there. He eventually just walks away telling eddie he was going to go watch self checkout. Didn't bother to offer help or anything, leaving me to wait on the one person helping someone. I had to carry my large items out to my car. Defeats the purpose of curbside. Could've at least carried it out for me. Gonna stick to home depot from now on. read more

Stopped here this morning with my 31 year son to get some parts to repair a dripping / leaking shower in out RV... an older Gentleman named JV was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely helpful . He knew exactly what parts we needed and gave some great advice on how to easily do the repair after I showed him some photos of the problem area. I rate JV a 10+ for he is also exceptionally customer focused - - I bet if he trained all the new employees so that the overall ratings of this store would greatly improve! read more

Much like the local Home Depot I walk in, find a sales associate, and act out a ridiculous verbal charade. Me: "I need of a metal pole thats thin and you wack it into the ground with a hammer and I think it's used with cement" Sales associate: "I think your looking for rebar". Yes, yes that's it!!!! Don't buy anything here that you can't pick up and carry to the check out. I have waited for more than an hour trying to pick up a Grill in a box and a dishwasher on separate occasions that they said was ready for pick up. In addition finding help in lawn and garden, appliances and flooring is nearly impossible. The customer service counter is always under staffed. Really aggravating since this is the closest place for me to shop - I'll drive further next time. read more

Great place to shop however can not recommend installation services. Placed an project order in December 2018 and finally completed 6 months later. Miscommunication, inaccurate measurements, wrong orders, and finally not returning emails. Actually spoke with this stores manager and he referred me back to millworks, the very department who dropped the ball. Only when I escalated my issue to corporate via social media did I "coincidentally" get a call from this store for installation (the first attempt at installation was aborted due to inaccurate order/measurements). The final installation of an entrance door and side panels lest hardware exposed more than I've ever seen. Called the installer and he said "it's the manufacturer". Contacted the manufacturer and left a message. Waiting for a call back. Discussed compensation and was given a 10% discount on a $7000 project. Pissing in the ocean. The time I spent getting this done is worth more! I know it doesn't matter to Lowe's that I will stay with a local contractor next time because the solution to pollution is dilution and there is an ocean of customer after me. I suggest going with a non-corporate whose yelp reviews matter. read more

Great customer service, and I find that I have been able to secure a better price on larger ticket items by asking about future sales. We even had a mishap when a fridge was being delivered, I did have to kind of freak out on the manager after 8 phone calls- but- the service recovery was so diligent and professional, that I'm still giving 4 stars. Shout out to Dan and Will who were both working extremely hard today, even though it was Presidents Day wknd, and they appeared short handed. I was in there 3 times today pricing and researching several appliances, and each time I was amazed at how busy they were. Dan and Will were both very knowledgeable about the products and warranties and also took their time with each shopper to make sure their needs were met. I was very impressed!!! Terrible customer service. Bought a mower and self propel feature quit working, probably belt came off. Just wanted to replace belt. Brad at customer service tipped mower up and spilled gas inside store. Not his department, so I don't know why he did that. But was told I had to take mower home empty and bring back up in case it was the spark plug. I don't think I would want them to work on the mower if they think a spark plug is responsible for the mowers self propel feature not working. It runs fine and starts well. I guess I'll take it to a shop instead. read more

The store seems well stocked but the help is less than informed. I would NOT recommend ordering online. I placed an order for 9 pieces of yard fencing and 10 poles. After receiving the "pick up your order now" email, I went to lowes. First they could not find the order, then when they did, it was not in or on a cart so it took an addtional 10 minutes to find the proper cart (even then my grandson found it). It took over an hour to check out. If we had just gone to the store, picked up the items ourselves and checked out, I could have had the rest of the fence installed in the time it took for them to find the order and the fence. I love lowes and the prices are better than the other but the customer service is the worst. The employees don't seems to know what they carry so I was left wondering around.
