I just love this store! Probably because I love all things with different cultures. I have had a dining room table from here for 17 years and it is still as sturdy as ever. I love their candle scents. The amber one is just heavenly. The store features wide array of foods from different countries, furniture, linens, smell good things, plate ware and so much more. Such a fun, reasonable place to shop!

This place is beautiful! There's everything you could possibly want for your home in this store. It's very large and laid out in such a way that you'll pass through everything and think to yourself "I need one of those!" I absolutely love their home decor section. They have international food from several countries such as drinks and snacks. They also have a wonderful selection of pans, platters, and rugs. I wish I could actually afford something from this store other than a bag of jalapeño chips from Spain. I feel like the whole store is way overpriced so that's why I gave it a 4 star.

A colorful hodgepodge of trinkets, toys, food and furniture.

Bruce Springsteen was the voice of blue collar America in the 80s. He tried to depict the spirit of the average red blooded, freedom loving Dick and Jane. At some point Dick decided that his view of postmodern industrialist hegemonic imperialism can only be combated with skinny jeans and thick rimmed glasses while Jane became heavily addicted to yoga pants and Eastern mysticism. The oligarch that decided to capitalize on this cultural shift created World Market. If, as the reader, you're still there and, after rolling your eyes, you're willing to let me get off of my high horse, I'll actually do some reviewing. I liken this place to an Indian IKEA with an assortment of foreign foods and spices. The furniture is really pricey, especially since it's mostly dorm room quality. It seems like everything has a fat Buddha or a Hindi influenced elephant on or near it, and much of the the glassware has is shaped like a bohemian owl. The foreign candy and snack selection is vast, and there appears to be a decent selection of wine and microbrews. This is the only place that I have found Sriracha flavored Kettle brand chips. A foodie will definitely find something of interest here. In conclusion, my wife drags me to this place and buys lots of trinkets and goodies, packs them all into her reusable bags, and makes me carry them to the car. There are plenty of people who will really enjoy World Market, but I have yet to catch this bug.

    They sell Lucky Buddha Beer!

I love this place, i only wish there was one in NYC - all i can do is order online when i get back home! They sell a wide range of items that i personally love for myself and to give as gifts. Home decor and furnishings, food & alcohol, kitchen & bedding - they've got just about everything. World Market also sells some hard to find beer and wines from all over the world (found some Lucky Buddha beer). Very cute wine bags for gifts as well. The prices are not steep, so you can get some great items without breaking the bank. I scored a delicious bottle of Amarone for $29.99!

This is the only place in all of Wilmington that sells a Carbon steel pan!!

"I won't be happy 'til I see You alone again…read more'Til I'm home again and feelin' right" (Carole King) Home Again has gorgeous stuff everywhere you look! Whatever room you want to furnish or decorate, I'll bet you a nickel, you'll find something here you'll love. Choose from accent furniture, wall art & mirrors, décor, lamps & lighting, seating, kitchen, dining, office, bedroom and outdoor furniture, jewelry, plants, and more. Most of the inventory is high end, but we found a few hard to beat bargains. We spent just $31 and walked out with a set of two pretty wooden serving plates, a coral art wall hanging, and three distressed white picture frames. We were thrilled with the quality and value of our purchases. An interesting feature of their pricing policy is that just about everything had three prices, so the longer something stays in stock, the lower the price drops. Customer service is phenomenal. We had a wonderful chat with owner Jeannie Bethel, who was a real joy as she talked about her store, where the inventory comes from, and about Wilmington in general. We also had a great experience with Sharon Feiler who rang us up, meticulously wrapped our glass purchases, and chit chatted about the store. If we lived nearby, we'd most definitely be regulars.

How can I possibly be the first reviewer of this little shop? I thought for sure that someone else…read morewould have grabbed it. Okay, so you're driving along Oleander Drive, whizzing along at the speed of 55 or so and you see this funky little shop with a lighthouse? chimney? outside. If you've been around a while, you might remember it as the antique store. Anyway, get your car in the right hand lane right after you pass Tidal Creek and PULL IN. Do this especially if you need a birthday gift, Christmas/Holiday gift, etc. Trust me. Everything in there is made with the intent of creating earth friendly, recycled products. They have really cool upcycled bottle openers, screen printed flour sack towels, upcycled furniture, jewelry, terrariums, candles, the list goes on. A common theme is native plants (Venus flytrap art), ocean themes (octopus earrings), and water sports (surfboard screen printed bottle openers) Robert Holst's prints are vivid and capture the Wrightsville Beach past (The Glenn Inn) and present. Add to the fact that they do custom work (furniture upcycling anyone?) and you've got a winner. This place is truly worth a visit.

We're always impressed by the unique things for sale at the store and the friendliness of the owners(?). It's great to see a place so dedicated to having recycled products that are so cool, while still representing the beach town well. I recently ordered from the store to have shipped to my house and was amazed with how easy they made the whole process and how friendly everyone I talk to was. 100% recommend paying a visit to the shop! :)
