hello I am Ronne Curtis and the people have my ATV and I was wondering if I'll be able to get it back anytime soon I took it in to get repairs done on it and it's been almost a year since it's been there I talked to Ed on the phone. He keeps telling me when they get results or find out anything. They'll give me a call. It's been there almost a year and I not heard anything. This spring I purchased a Can-Am Ryker Sport 900 from World of Powersports and I am so pleased. I absolutely love the Ryker. The entire process was very positive. I had a lot of questions because I was moving from a motorcycle to the three-wheeled Ryker. Trevor Snow was my sales representative. I met with him several times and he always took time to answer all my questions. He arranged my test drive and took me through the sales process. He was very knowledgeable and helpful through it all. World of Powersports Springfield service is absolutely HORRIBLE!. My 2017 Polaris Ranger XP Ranch has been there for over a year and is still not repaired nor being worked on. I paid $1,495.00 for an extended warranty when I purchased it that expired in march 2022 while it sat there gathering dust. They actually had the audacity at one time to tell me they had no one to work on it because "service work comes first" yet here is the claim on their website: "We have top factory-trained technicians on duty during all business hours. We honor all warranty work and favor any recalls. We accommodate any type of problem that may arise with your motorcycle, scooter, ATV, UTV, personal watercraft, or snowmobile in an efficient, precise, and timely manner." They are great at selling you things though. During this time period I was forced to buy ($8,000.00) another unit because it is necessary for me at 64 years old to maintain and care for my livestock. I was told I could "take it to another dealer" if I wasn't happy with them. read more

Service dept is terrible! I've had my bike there since August 2022, my bike has literally been there for over 6 months as of this post. I keep calling in to check in on the bike. Most of the time I'm left on hold for 20 minutes or longer and whenever I get through they keep saying they haven't even touched the bike yet. What the heck?! It's been there for 6 months... How have you done nothing to it. They literally will have to give me a new motorcycle for me to be a returning customer. Terrible place wish I could give a no star review. read more

Very dissappointing experience. I don't have any complaints about the service dept., but the manager is not responsive at all. I've been unable to ride my bike and had it in for repairs after sitting for a year. I've decided I don't want to pay to have it fixed (around $950). The service dept. has repeatedly told the manager what it will take to fix the bike, and he knows I'm interested in selling it. I know I won't get a lot for it, but after 2 weeks he still hasn't bothered making a decision. How hard can it be? Either make me an offer or bring my bike back and I'll donate it to Make A Wish foundation. Oh, and the manager usually doesn't show up until around noon. read more

Originally posted in 2018. I bought an in demand motorcycle from World Of Powersports, Springfield, in July 2016. That motorcycle was written off in a crash one year later. (I was not riding it.) I contacted them 6 months after the crash to get a refund for the balance of the extended warranty I had purchased with the bike. I heard nothing back from them. Fast forward and my 2nd bike, the one I replaced it with, has been written off in a collision and I remember that World of Powersports still owes me money. I email them the same day, together with the dealership where I purchased my second bike. I got an immediate response from the second dealership, they sent me the required paperwork, I signed it and returned it. They've sent the check. World of Powersports still hasn't sent anything. I sent them an email asking for a status update a few days ago; ... crickets. It's been a year and a half since I first contacted them. It's been almost 3 weeks since I sent them the information they wanted. Again. They'll gladly take your money... UPDATE. 2021: I was emailed by "the manager" a Jason Comer. He saw my review soon after I posted it and "wanted to make it right." I called. I gave him the details and timeline. He promised to get back to me. However I had to keep emailing him to get responses and inquire about progress. Finally, they sent me a check; for *significantly* less money they were supposed to refund me. That was based on "the first contact I had made with them" according to him. However, that WASN'T the first time I made contact with them about it. I didn't have a record of the initial phone call, but I did have emails from my insurance adjuster. When I had called them the first time, they said to just send them the total loss report. **My insurance sent that to them the same day.** They were denying that they ever got the fax, but they were the ones who said i could "just send a fax of the total loss report with your vin number as the subject." I sent them the emails from my insurance with the dates being clearly much earlier than my alleged first contact. They completely ignored that and basically went radio silent. After MONTHS of waiting for them to correct their error, reminding them that they got the amount and dates wrong, I gave up. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. CROOKED ORGANISATION. read more

I purchased a tire and scheduled service to put the tire on, I was 1st on the schedule for the day, I am a waiting customer, after waiting for hour & half I checked to see if completed. it haven't been touched yet. I observed the mechanic was working on Polaris 4-wheeler with the owner. 45-mins later, he started to work on my bike. it took 40-mins to complete the job. total time 3-hours to get this work done. It appears that there is no organization what gets worked on in what order. no shop manager to ensure timely work to be completed. wasting a customers time don't sit well with me. read more

no stars for the springfield store I bought a use bike from them in April rode it about 200 Miles and it Left me stranded on the side of the road leaking gas because they sold me bike with a gas tank full of rust i call and made a Appointment for service and had wait 2 weeks the called me a few day later and told me that the bike was fixed so I drove 45 miles to pick it up and it wouldn't start the Technician came out and got to start ran like crap Because they cleaned the carburetors and don't get the rust out of the tank they still have the bike maybe they will fix it right this time that bike should of never been sold with rust in the tank and the tires are 10 years old and are unsafe Supposed to be replaced every seven years max not 10 buyer beware they will take care of you if you play your games for weeka or mouths read more

We purchased a CF Moto C force 500 last year. We brought the CF Moto in for a simple first time service. We also brought in a 1996 Honda 250 because the right front break was frozen. They were dropped off on May 27th and we were told the earliest date they would look at them was June 2. We called around June 10 and told by the gentleman that he had been on vacation for a week, they were not on the calendar but he would get them on. In the following weeks they were contacted in person with us receiving various stories of the 500 was on the calendar, the 250 was not. On July 7th we went in and were advised that the 500 was scheduled that day (that's quite the coincidence) and the 250 had not been looked at. The cashier said he would personally call us as soon as the mechanic told him what the problem was and what it would take to fix it. We were to be able to pick them both up on July 15. While there we overheard the other cashier telling a patron that they would pull a mechanic off another job and they would look at his and it would take about 30 minutes. We picked up the 500 completed on July 16. We were told the 250 would take about $50 plus labor to repair but nothing had been done. The cashier was the same as the week before and we told him that he had promised to call us so we could agree to the and have it done. After 7 weeks we took the 250 and will have it done elsewhere. They were quick to sell but service was almost nonexistent! read more

Very sadly unimpressed and highly disappointed with the reception I recently received at the Service Desk and at the Parts Desk at the World of Powersports-Springfield, IL. store. I recently purchased a used motorcycle at another of the World of Powersports Dealerships in central IL. At the time of my purchase, I was assured that Customer Service for new owners like me was a very high priority. I was also assured that I would be promptly and happily received and taken care of regardless of which Store location I took my bike to or looked to for my post-purchase needs. I was actually looking forward to my initial visit to get to know the people who would be so important to my enduring enjoyment of my motorcycle. While there were no other customers that day (hmmmm) at the Service Desk or at the Parts Desk, both persons that were working acted as if I was BOTHERING them ! They showed ZERO interest in the fact that I had just purchased a new-to-me bike at one of the World of Powersports Stores. BAD FOR BUSINESS, and NOT THAT HARD TO DO, PEOPLE ! There are other places within driving distance (even if it is farther) where we can buy Motorcycles, Parts, Service and Accessories ! I suggest that all persons considering buying a New or Used Motorcycle visit with the Service and Parts Department at several stores before making your purchase. The PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS with those persons will be important during your ownership. If those persons show no interest in or appreciation of you as someone with whom you can enjoy a mutually-caring relationship, go to another shop or store. Customer Service IS STILL KEY to some of us who are conscious of whom we want to spend our time and hard-earned dollars with ! THIS IS A MANAGEMENT PROBLEM at World of Powersports...AND IT IS A SIGNIFICANT PROBLEM for ALL of their stores. SHOP AROUND, and buy from people who both WANT to EARN your business...and will APPRECIATE you as a customer who has other choices !!! read more
