My Indian visa expires in a couple of months & I submitted all my documents as they suggested to obtain an OCI card a month ago and then ................"crickets..." I received NO acknowledgment receipt of the email, absolutely NO communication, NO calls ever, NO update of status or what they are doing with 20+ confidential documents we have submitted! Taking care of a disabled son and a disabled mother with a job I patiently waited for a month I then called after a month of them sitting on my confidential documents, to check on my status. The person who answered the phone, took 12 minutes to search in silence just to say in his said in a ghoulish, monotonous, " Well, if you didn't pay us then we are not responsible for your documents!" I was infuriated ... precious time for a soon expiring VISA wasted because of these inconsiderate people!!! How the heck is the CUSTOMER to know what and where to pay if you did not communicate to the customer int eh first place? The truth of the matter was, they couldn't even find my documents! ....................How embarrassing!! When started debating, the ghoul responded, " WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN DOING BUSINESS WITH YOU!" Hearing this I asked to speak to LALU CHERIAN, - apparently the OWNER, ........ the GHOUL responded, "I WILL NOT GIVE HIM THE PHONE!" and hung up! They supposedly run a business with stellar reputation that is embellished with extravagant reviews, a pure trap to lure the docile, nescient masses! But, in reality, terribly fail to extend even a courteous reply to the first ever email attached with secured documents sent by a customer. A simple... "Ma'am we are so sorry, it fell through the cracks ... let us fix this issue right now"............... would have solve the matter it but the CHAUVINISTIC NARCISSIST attitude won't thrive for long! I had an appointment at my local post office last Friday and it was the only appointment available until late July. We show up and the passport clerk called in sick and cancelled all the appointments. Please don't get me wrong, I was a bit skeptical about this place, just seemed like a scam or shady, but after some research, I decided to give it a go because we were desperate to get this down in time especially because I'm flying out of state this weekend and won't return until the end of July so I had to help my son out now. Anyways, staff member Jenny helped me over the phone answering the infinite questions that I had for her. She was super friendly, patient and thorough with me so I can better under what I need to do and why. This was on a Friday on the phone with her and I'm located about 2hrs from their office. She's off on Mondays, but she prepped a packet for me to show up on Monday when she didn't have to. She did this off of pure good faith that I'd show up and not ditch. Upon coming to their office, the small and dark parking lot was super empty and there was a homeless guy sleeping on the ground along the stairwell and front entrance. It gave me the feeling again that the good-to-be-true awesome service, was at this shady looking place. It just so happens that that we were just there early and more cars started to fill up the lot. Another staff member, Ricardo helped me and he was super fast and friendly. We showed up at 9am and were out the door before 930am to go to an USPS appointment that Jenny set for me. It was a farther, but necessary drive to take care of this process today so that I'm not driving back and forth. Once we were done with the Post Office, we returned to drop off the sealed envelope so that it could be FedEx'd the next day for processing. Because this was considered "expedited," I had to pay $580 for the whole process plus $35 Post Office processing fee and an extra $45 fee for FedEx services to have it shipped to my house overnight once the Post Office does their part. This office did all the work and we just had to sign and go tot the Post Office. I wouldn't be paying this much if I just paid attention to my son's passport expiration date, but this was a hard lesson learned and timing was against us. Overall, I definitely recommend this business should you ever need an expedited passport. Staff were all around, AMAZING. Parking lot is super small and shady looking lol. Just park and walk upstairs through the front glass doors. It appears that there is no elevators so for those handicap or can't walk up the stairs, I would call first. The hours show 24/7, but they do in fact have office hours. Hopefully Google Edit will accept my request to update their office hours.

We selected a bus tour of Ireland mostly because it fit into a window of opportunity for us, but the tour company also had good reviews. One thing that we noticed is that the tour started in Dublin, circled the island, but did not conclude back in Dublin. Everything stoped on a Tuesday morning, over 50 miles from Dublin. I inquired about this before signing up and was told that it would not be a problem, since they would have plenty of time to arrange something. Later, when I contacting CIE Tours, the actual tour company, about transit back to Dublin, I received no response. At the beginning of the actual tour, I asked the tour guide the same question, and he also responded that we would figure that out later. About 7 days into the tour, he had the same response. While some in our group has vouchers for transport back to the airport, not all did, and many were scrambling to find some sort of transport from a remote castle to Dublin. The tour operator and agents did nothing to facilitate anything. Eventually we reserved a taxi, at the cost of $220, and left early in the day, since we weren't assured of a taxi at all if we waited until later. After some back-and-forth with the upper management (and a review) at Affordable Tours we were able to get a refund for the cost of the taxi. I highly recommend that you do considerable research into every aspect of these (or any) tours. Generally, people going on tours with groups do so because they do not know how to deal with all of the various complications, or even what they may be, but in the end, it is still all up to you to know. Make sure all your questions are answered and all aspects of transportation are entirely covered. Know exactly what is covered and what is not, and get everything in writing.
