Our women's group had a perfect day floating the Teton Canyon with WorldCast Anglers and guide Connor Jordan. From the first conversation about booking to waving goodbye in the parking lot, every interaction was organized, responsive and genuinely friendly. Connor was exceptional. Her knowledge of the river, the bugs, the trout and the conservation challenges facing the Teton added so much depth to the day. She navigated the Teton Slide and challenging rapids with remarkable confidence and precision, always putting our safety first, and somehow still managed to put us on fish after fish after fish. By the end of the day, double hookups had become so common they barely earned a cheer. We ended the trip in the WCA shop and parking lot, which was full of energy, with guides swapping stories, staff laughing with clients and the Simms team repairing waders. It felt like a community gathering more than a business. Spending a day on the Teton deepened our appreciation for the free-flowing river that sustains its iconic native Yellowstone cutthroat. It also reinforced for us that conservation isn't just part of Worldcast's brand, it's part of who they are. read more

My wife Tana and I just spent a week flyfishing with WorldCast Anglers in Victor ID, and what a week! We fished the South Fork of the Snake River, sections #2 and #3, then Teton River (the section below the Earthen Dam, and the Slide Entry section), and then in WY in Teton National Park, and then back to the South Fork. Every day was different, both in terms of vistas and scenery, and the types and numbers of fish caught. The only consistent thing we experienced was the sky-high quality of the fishing guides (Skylar, Jackson, Josh, Erik); they were all very helpful, gave great instruction, patient, and it was clear that they all enjoyed catching fish. We caught Cutthroats, Rainbows, Cutbow hybrids, Browns, and the almighty Whitefish. Some firsts for us included: the 700 ft vertical ft slide entry into Teton river, numerous whitefish on dry fly, several double hookups, doing sections #2 and#3 in the same day, 23 miles, using a 4 hp outboard to get us to the best spots quickly. I booked with WCA about 3-4 weeks before going to Victor ID on a family vacation. I spoke with Chris on the phone, told him about my fly fishing experience, strengths, weaknesses, and goals. He recommended a full day float trip on the lower Snake River based on time of year and my fly fishing abilities. I met my guide, Jesse the morning of the trip and we hit it off fairly quickly during the drive to the river. On the water Jesse had me make a few casts to determine my ability, gave me a couple tips for better casting, and I had a fish on my 4th cast! The winds rose to 45mph in the canyon that day and Jesse worked extremely hard to keep me in good casting position. I landed 15+ fish that day and lost a few more. Most of the other guides/anglers we saw at the take-out ramp were talking about landing 5-10 fish even with 2 anglers aboard. Jesse's work on the oars and his intuition to change from dry flies (which were working, but very hard to cast in the wind) to nymphs made all the difference and gave me a very memorable and exciting day! read more

Worldcast Anglers offers the most experienced guides who are very familiar with the river system at Henry Fork. I have fished with them in August the pass 4 years and have caught browns, rainbows and cutbows in tropy size. The Anglers are knowledgeable of what the trout are fishing for and efficiently adapt the flies to maximize the experience. One guide I enjoyed in particular was Erik White who helped a client and myself to a very productive day on the river. I also ended up hooking my client through the nose after pulling free of a snag. Erik quickly removed the barbless hook, but not before a good photo op. After the fact I contacted Erik and asked if he could send me that fly, which he took the time to mail me. I then enclosed it along with a photo of the hooked client in a lucite, which now sits in the clients office. Great organization and wonderful people. read more

I had a fantastic weekend and Guide Eric White of Worldcast Anglers for the Women's Rowing Clinic recently. Eric really went the extra mile to make it a fun time for both me and my boat man. We exchanged some crazy, great stories about life, learned a bit of rowing and threw a few flies. We got to test our skills at the lower Mesa Falls stretch of the Henry's Fork and it was a blast. I got a bit of confidence in my rowing on Sunday, due mostly to Eric's patience I believe. Worldcast was professional and friendly. My son and I had Pete Erickson as our guide on the South Fork of the Snake River. We caught lots of fish, including a couple really nice ones. Pete is teacher and highly skilled fly fisherman. He instructed and worked to improve our skills as we fished. My son was really impressed with Pete. He showed him a few things that greatly improved his ability to catch fish. We both used what he taught us the rest of our vacation week and continued to pull out fish everywhere we went. Fly fishing with the guides from World Cast Anglers was truly an experience. The quality of the service was astounding and the people working in the store as well as the guides were extremely friendly and helpful. Even though this was my first time fly fishing, by the end of three days I felt like I was reasonably proficient. All three of the guides that me and my family travelled with showed us the ropes and were invested in our enjoyment of their passion. My husband and I were impressed with the cleanliness of the camp. The food was delicious! Jake's cooking and presentation were outstanding. I had a another great experience with WorldCast Anglers on the South Fork of the Snake River in ID below the South Fork Lodge in Swan Valley. I was guided by Brenda Swinney. It was a cold overcast mid-October day, but Brenda got me into several pods of fish feeding on the surface - the dry fly action was great.
