If you need fish and anything related to them, saltwater or freshwater, this is the place to go! The staff is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I've been to all the other pet shops in the area and saw their sad fish and dirty tanks; one store even told me to just go to Worlds Under Water. Another store didn't even have any saltwater fish and they told me I should do freshwater because saltwater is way too hard. I went to Worlds Under Water and felt like I had just entered an aquarium and needed to pay admission. Their tanks are beautiful and well kept and they have a great variety of fish and invertebrates at prices very similar to what you find at the other places. I now have an established saltwater tank in my home with a beautiful setup and happy, healthy fish. I live just east of Rogers so it's a little bit of a drive for me, but that should tell you how much I think it's worth it. I'll be back! read more

They do not guarantee their fish. If, they die they do not refund. I am talking about the same day. Even Petco and Petsmart refund within a few days. I also bought a live plant from them and I unfortunately also bought the FUNGUS with it. A black hairy fungus took over my tank. I had to completely redo my tank. I threw away the plant and my fungus is gone. $10.00 down the drain for the plant. But hey, my tank is beautiful again. On the upside the store is nice and the people are knowledgeable and friendly. read more

Very nice store. Their tanks are clean and the fish look very healthy. And the gentleman who helped us was very friendly. There were only a few minor things that kept me from giving it a full five stars. 1. The Betta fish looked, just sad. They were the only ones who looked sick, and a few were on their way out. I'm in the betta fish hobby and finding good looking show fish is difficult in this area. I was super disappointed 2. I called to see if I could order an invertebrate species about three weeks ago. Never heard back. Would've been nice if my request had been followed up on. (Personally, yes I could've called. But, I wanted to see how passionate they were about their business, and working with a retail customer vs their corporate customers. Bummer.) 3. Their aquascape/tank supply section was pretty limited. Limited meaning either empty shelves or one bottle. Fortunately, or unfortunately I dont believe we will be back. I prefer to support local but in this situation I'm going to have to order online. Edit (update: 01/0/2020) I went in to give them a second try. I felt only a single visit wasn't fair. Their tanks are still beautiful. And their employees are very sweet and super willing to help so I upgraded my rating to 4 for top notch enthusiasm. One petty complaint. Albino frogs. This is my fault for failing to recognize the species. This is NOT the African Dwarf Frog. I purchased it excitedly with the anticipation to add it to my dwarf frog community. This little bugger is an African Clawed Frog. It gets 5 inches, eats everything, and can live for 30 years. Do not put it in a community tank. Unless you hate your fish. Karen, now aptly named, is now in a 10 gallon aquarium in her own little mansion. Keep in mind this species is banned from several states without a permit. Thanks Karen. read more

The only serious aquarium store in the region, for marine tanks especially this place has a fantastic selection of fish and corals. They have some nice exotic animals too, and a nice freshwater section. Beautiful custom tanks as well, I could spend hours just watching their tanks thrive. read more

This is where you go for all your aquarium needs! Extremely knowledgeable staff that truly love what they do. Their fish are healthy, the tanks are well kept and beautiful. We often find an excuse just to stop by and admire their selection. If they don't have it they can usually get it. Come in for new or used equipment, trust me check this place out. Just want to add a fish store in Little Rock once told us they dream of being like Worlds under water, that was the first time we had heard about them. Now we dream our aquarium will one day look like some of theirs. read more

At first, this shop looked pretty clean and the staff somewhat knowledgeable and friendly. On second, they sold me a diseased pleco. I could understand if I bought 20. They slip through. I bought one. He didn't even take the time to inspect the fish for me. Needless to say, I trusted that this place was responsible like a fool and merely acclimated the fish rather than quarantine it and it destroyed my tank. Evidently, they don't do that either. He said he got this one locally. Day 2 fish are hiding. Day 3 Fish aren't eating. Day 4 pleco dies. I put the pleco in a bowl with aquarium water just in case he wasn't dead although I was sure he was. About 10 minutes later, I go check on him and there were literally hundreds of parasites both at the bottom of the bowl and swimming that had dropped off of his lifeless body. Days 5-8 long, hard, stressful tank maintenance, medications, and tons of money spent by consultation of a local fish consultant. All four got ick, velvet, and fin rot. My two fancies ended up with essentially no fins. One acquired swim bladder disease and floated around for 2-3 days before he finally died. I have lost all but the one who is struggling and soon to die also. I've had these fish for 3 yrs. Raised them from babies. They greeted me, ate out of my hand, and one even let me hold him in the water. These were my beloved pets and they were infested and killed by this one pleco that Brandon (who should know better than to sell an obviously heavily diseased fish at World Under Water. I would give them 0 stars but it will not allow me. Do not buy from them if you don't quarantine for over a month. The owner, Brandon, will accept no responsibility and will also blame it on you as he laughs at your anguish. read more
