Very dissapointed on Black Friday. Came in for a few things for the dogs for Christmas, came across a sweater for 10% off. Went to the register only to find that the savings would be applied to my account and could not be used on the purchase. Went through the whole song and dance setting up an app that I do not need to not be able to get the savings at the register. Ruined my mood for the rest of our morning shopping trip. Manger there "could" have given the 10% for customer satisfaction, however, I suppose $1.49 would be a stretch. I will never come back. read more

All I can say is this is a great store to buy things for your pets or even fish. Stopped in here to check out some toys and food for my baby boy. And they carry a great selection of everything for your pets. The fish they had here was phenomenal I couldn't believe how clean the tanks were and how the prices of fish are wow. So before we picked up our dog I had stopped in here to find him some chewy toys and they had a great selection of all kinds of chewy toys. The lady was very nice and helpful although I'm just looking for toys for a dog lol. The store was extra clean and I'll definitely will be back to buy more toys for the boy read more

Updating my review after using this Petsmart over the last few years, though my review is based on several interactions over the last few months. While I am a monthly shopper for my canned food and litter, I don't stop here for much else. I would not trust their raw food (if they ever get it back) because they were incorrectly storing it and were rude and uneducated when I kindly explained the raw food needs to be frozen as per the bag directions and Petsmart policy. People at the fish wall have always been friendly and informative. Groomers seem to love and care for their fur clients, but need some education as far as traditional breed cuts go. read more

I had an incident in my big fish tank and lost most of my fish. I stopped by here to see about replacing some of my bottom feeders. People, I have managed a pet store. I have been 1/2 owner on a pet store. I have hundreds of gallons of tanks. This store has the nastiest fish tanks I've seen. They are filled with algae and have a huge snail infestation. The gravel Is filthy. I wouldn't buy a fish here ever. read more

Hello, I normally don't write negative reviews however it's been weighting heavily in my heart. I took my four year old schnauzer to get groomed oct 19th @ 8am. Upon arrival grooming staff were late; not a big deal it happens. An female employee arrived who answered the phone and was extremely rude to the customer on the phone. Employee placed the customer on hold and said " yeah hell no you call and want an appointment for tomorrow for three dogs, not going to happen!" It was so inappropriate for her to say in front of a customer. After about fifteen minutes or so of standing there she took my pup and I left, about 1hr later I received a call saying my fur baby was ready to be picked up. I was excited to pick him up. I walk in and was told negative comments right off the bat; no one wants to hear o my negative comments. I think they should yes he honest but end with a positive. She stated that my baby was a hassle and Courtney struggled with brushing his beard. My fur baby was happy to see me and was ready to leave. I couldn't get a good look at him at the groomers but at home I noticed his fur eyebrows ( he got a schnauzer cut) were very uneven, totally not a big deal. Live near this PetSmart location so it wasn't a hassle to drive back. We walked into the groomers and asked if Courtney could fix it, my character isn't to blame or be hatful. I totally understand dogs move things happen that's why I suggested I was certain my schnauzer moved. Courtney was towards the back of the room with an iPad to her ear and seemed up set to have to fix his eyebrows. She walked over to me and said " what do you want I don't understand as she scuffed. I explained again and again I told her "I'm sure he moved, I thought about fixing it at home but I don't know how, I'm so sorry." She took my fur baby from me. I was told to wait outside. I could see three including Courtney talking about the situation and they didn't care the customer was right outside tinge window. Courtney waved me back inside and handed him back to me and said "I don't know what your talking about he has weird eyebrows." I replied with "well that's totally rude to say it's totally fine it'll grow out I just wanted it fixed." I walked out. This isn't the first time this location has been unprofessional with customers. I wish I could speak to GM and let him know. I will definitely look up his information. Please don't tKe your babies here if they treat them bad in front of you what do they do and say when you aren't around. read more

I took my poodle here and it was the worst groom he has ever had. Patches of hair that went uncut, some feet were cut and others were not, and ears were not cleaned. In addition I paid $25 extra to get special shampoo, a hair bow/bandana and dog treats, and I received none. I paid $94 for a disaster. Have sent the info to their corporate office with NO response. Will not be here again. I typically go to the Rogers location and they normally do well, but they were booked so tried Fayetteville. Based on the lack of care and support, I am disappointed in this company as a whole. Have been a customer for over 12 years and this experience has me searching for a new company to do business that takes better care of their customers. read more

I have a very large dog who cannot stand having his nails done. I've taken him here every time to get a nail grind. We use Terry because he seems to be the dog whisperer of the group lol. I noticed now that my dog is less stressed afterwards and his nails are always professionally ground. I've never noticed a problem with the quick in his nails and his nails are black. Terry does a phenomenal job and everybody there has always been so friendly and nice. I am only familiar with the dog aspect of this store, but I've always been pleased with the service I've gotten here. Can't understand the one stars. read more

I have taken my dog here a couple times to get groomed, but will no longer be returning. I am not one to leave yelp reviews, but my experience here was not great. Most of the staff was friendly, but did not do a great job on her nails. When I picked her up she was extremely stressed, which I expected and I noticed she was bleeding in the car. Her nails were left super rugged, and her quick was exposed on several of her nails. As an owner, I take her to get groomed to avoid this issue. I was extremely disappointed! read more

I wish I could leave no stars. We regularly purchase dog food here specifically the Cesars brand. I purchased a new box of cesars wet food almost a week ago and my dog has been having stomach issues. I've never had any issue with this dog food. This time my dogs stomach is making gurgling noises NONSTOP. We check the date on the food and its 2 YEARS out of date. Closer to 2 & 1/2. We called PetSmart and they told us that "if that is the case then they will refund or exchange the box." If?! If that's the case?! Well it is and now we are taking him to the vet because he's literally 'sick as a dog' which costs more than just a box of dog food. They didn't seem to be too concerned about it and why the heck did they have dog food on their shelf that far out of date? We also had an appointment to get my dog groomed there once and they were dragging a dog by his leash across the floor in the back and the girl at the front desk was rolling her eyes and SLAMMED the phone down and started yelling at somebody in the back and I had seen enough. Tried them twice and 2x to many! Lousy hair cuts asked and paid for extra brushing on my Aussie, had loose hair all over when I picked her up. Gave them the benefit of doubt then thought it might just be from brushing her but after I got her home noticed she still had tons of undercoat that needed brushed out. I use to use Teri in Rogers at PetSmart but after she left was never as satisfied with their grooming but will never go back to Fayetteville again read more

Had an appointment but changed my mind about letting my dog get groomed here. Feels like an average rushed job. I watched a groomer leave the dog looped in its little neck leash unattended for about 5 minutes. Dogs should ALWAYS be attended. What if it had fallen and choked? The groomers didn't smile , didn't look like they even enjoyed the company of such cute babies and being able to create a new stylish look for them. I waited for 60 minutes and was not impressed by the customer service or Any of the dogs hair cuts. Overall not impressed . TAKING MY POOCH TO DAPPER DOG instead! I hate to leave a negative review and this is not about the employees... but the petsmart grooming online system is an absolute disaster. I brought my dog in for her grooming appointment I had made two weeks prior and already done the pre-check in stuff for her only to find out that they essentially lost all her information.... Again. This is the third time in a row that they didn't have her appointment in their system or didn't have any of her records in the system. I only have a single account with them but yet every time I go in something is lost and I am just very tired of how inefficient everything is. I had faith that eventually I wouldn't have so much trouble bringing her in as it's the easiest place to get an appointment at (I found out why, obviously) but this was definitely the last time I do it read more

Got my dog a puppy trim, she came back looking and smelling wonderful. She does HATE getting bows put in her hair, but that's not their fault. Went into this store to get my dog a new collar & leash. I couldn't find the certain leash I wanted in the correct size so I asked for some help. I walked around the store for about 5 minutes before I could ever find anyone. Finally found someone to help me out & the entire time I tried talking to her she was looking down at her phone & continuously rolled her eyes when I talked. I was literally there for a leash and collar and ended up saying forget it because she was such a snob. The name on the tag, Bonny. I call & ask to speak to someone about this and when I say who it is, they tell me it's the Store Leader. We really have people like this running the store? I can only imagine how she is when she talks to her workers. I'll be driving the extra 30 minutes to the other Petsmart across town from now. read more

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL grooming experience. Our dogs came back to us with completely uneven coats and looked terrible and it cost $100. We will never again use this PetSmart for grooming - there are plenty of local businesses that will take much better care of our pets. read more

I usually go to PetSmart in another city to get my dog groomed so I assumed this one would be good too. Big mistake. I should have looked at the reviews first. They cut my dogs nails too short and then called me and told me they couldn't groom him because he was too anxious. He is anxious but this has never been a problem before. They were nice to me when I came to pick him up but that doesn't excuse the job being horrible. And then, while he was bleeding all over me, they charged me for 50% of the bath. I can't believe it wasn't comped. I just paid to ruin a shirt and have pain inflicted on my dog that's already scared of humans. read more

If you are buying fish, just tell them you have a thousand gallon tank. I have had an aquarium since I was 15, I'm 53. I know a plecostomus can grow large. I know it's one inch of fish for 1 gallon of tank. I know what I need just sell me the damn fish. I will never again buy anything at PetSmart, we wanted an aquarium we set it up, cycled tested the PH levels, etc for days then we went and got fish, they suggested only 2-4 and I'm thankful now they did, we're 12 days in, the fish had ich apprentice when I bought them, when I went back to ask for help, desperate to save my kids fish, I was told I probably just got lazy fish! Later that evening I went back, took water samples which the guy who tested said it was better than their water would test, I scanned the tank which I had already seen early in the day, I had pointed out the dead and sickly acting fish, none of the dead ones were removed and more sickly acting fish! I was sold super ich told it would take care of the problem, I've followed directions here we are 3 days later and our last fish is now nearly dead, my tank is tainted and will have to be sanitized, go through cycles again and start all over! And just a side note 3 days later the exact same tank still has the floating dead fish! read more

I worked for Petsmart in a different state for 5 years and have nothing but positive views of the company. Unfortunately, this Petsmart has the worst customer service of any pet store I've ever been. I have given this store more than enough opportunity to prove me wrong... Today, the cashier called for backup at the register 5 times. convenient but not a locally owned business which i prefer. and their prices are way above what you pay for the same products elsewhere. company policy is to match lower prices but when i tried to do that the floor mgr. Nathan would not honor it. when i called back later to find out the name of the person who refused the price match so i could include it in this review i spoke with operations mgr, Kevin who was very nice as was the cashier who checked me out. the staff is usually great, no complaints there ever till now. in the end though, petsmart got my extra $8 on this purchase but they lost a steady customer who used to spend $200/month in their store. i'll be buying from a locally owned business from now on and suggest you do the same. read more
