Hello, I normally don't write negative reviews however it's been weighting heavily in my heart. I took my four year old schnauzer to get groomed oct 19th @ 8am. Upon arrival grooming staff were late; not a big deal it happens. An female employee arrived who answered the phone and was extremely rude to the customer on the phone. Employee placed the customer on hold and said " yeah hell no you call and want an appointment for tomorrow for three dogs, not going to happen!" It was so inappropriate for her to say in front of a customer. After about fifteen minutes or so of standing there she took my pup and I left, about 1hr later I received a call saying my fur baby was ready to be picked up. I was excited to pick him up. I walk in and was told negative comments right off the bat; no one wants to hear o my negative comments. I think they should yes he honest but end with a positive. She stated that my baby was a hassle and Courtney struggled with brushing his beard. My fur baby was happy to see me and was ready to leave. I couldn't get a good look at him at the groomers but at home I noticed his fur eyebrows ( he got a schnauzer cut) were very uneven, totally not a big deal. Live near this PetSmart location so it wasn't a hassle to drive back. We walked into the groomers and asked if Courtney could fix it, my character isn't to blame or be hatful. I totally understand dogs move things happen that's why I suggested I was certain my schnauzer moved. Courtney was towards the back of the room with an iPad to her ear and seemed up set to have to fix his eyebrows. She walked over to me and said " what do you want I don't understand as she scuffed. I explained again and again I told her "I'm sure he moved, I thought about fixing it at home but I don't know how, I'm so sorry." She took my fur baby from me. I was told to wait outside. I could see three including Courtney talking about the situation and they didn't care the customer was right outside tinge window. Courtney waved me back inside and handed him back to me and said "I don't know what your talking about he has weird eyebrows." I replied with "well that's totally rude to say it's totally fine it'll grow out I just wanted it fixed." I walked out. This isn't the first time this location has been unprofessional with customers. I wish I could speak to GM and let him know. I will definitely look up his information. Please don't tKe your babies here if they treat them bad in front of you what do they do and say when you aren't around.

My dog was pretty proud of his nails after getting them done at PetSmart!

I have a very large dog who cannot stand having his nails done. I've taken him here every time to get a nail grind. We use Terry because he seems to be the dog whisperer of the group lol. I noticed now that my dog is less stressed afterwards and his nails are always professionally ground. I've never noticed a problem with the quick in his nails and his nails are black. Terry does a phenomenal job and everybody there has always been so friendly and nice. I am only familiar with the dog aspect of this store, but I've always been pleased with the service I've gotten here. Can't understand the one stars.

I have taken my dog here a couple times to get groomed, but will no longer be returning. I am not one to leave yelp reviews, but my experience here was not great. Most of the staff was friendly, but did not do a great job on her nails. When I picked her up she was extremely stressed, which I expected and I noticed she was bleeding in the car. Her nails were left super rugged, and her quick was exposed on several of her nails. As an owner, I take her to get groomed to avoid this issue. I was extremely disappointed!

This is the best PetsMart in the country. I posted this because it has 2 stars and that can't be right.

Our Maltipoo is 4 and has been groomed by 3 different groomer in Arkansas and Colorado - never had an issue Most places we have taken him take between 2-4 hours to groom - sadly our groomer here has cancer and can't groom anymore. I feel so bad for my dog to get that stressed Now I will need to look for another place to take him - after he's been so stressed out and not even groomed. We have had dogs for 30 years - never had someone call to say they kept our dog for over 5 hours then didn't even groom them.

He is a 20# 9 month old Schnoodle and had an 11:00 appt. I called and left a message at 3:00 to see if he was ready and no answer. At 4:30 I went down and they said he had been ready for hours. They lied and said they didn't have my phone number which was provided when I filled out the paperwork and was on my previous dog's info. They also said he acted up and charged me $15.00 extra for bad behavior. He's a small dog and has never been a problem to bathe before. Marilyn the owner was not there and I was so angry that I left without telling her what happened. We will not be going back and I am very disappointed but they did have my phone number because I left messages. Keeping my dog in a cage for hours was cruel and I would never recommend them.

Lucky Dogs Canine Grooming - I mean seriously. They went from muppet to handsome in Megan's capable hands. Just look at this!

Dealing chronic illness I wasn't able to take as good care of them eventually, but I did my best and Megan never shamed me about it. Instead she gave me realistic expectations ("No, crazy lady, they cannot have Schnauzer cuts unless you can commit to regular brushing and more frequent grooming. How about I cut them very short and a little bit less short where the furnishings would be?") and have them fantastic care through illnesses, discomfort, and the general situation of aging dogs. I never would have felt comfortable taking them to someplace like Petco with the care they needed. Lucky Dogs is way better and they've got a much better attention to detail! In addition, she made a special house call for my mom when she was dealing with a lot of hospitalizations and couldn't brush her Akita. He probably lost 10# of fur that day and Megan's arms had to have been sore from sorting through a 150# boy blowing his coat, but he looked so handsome and my mom and I were so grateful that she went above and beyond, especially considering she did this on her personal time and I KNOW how exhausting and challenging big dogs can be to groom.

When we have him boarded, we pay for the large executive suite, even though our dog is only 10 pounds. Money has never been an issue when it comes to our dog. I have been happy with their service, but that changed a few weeks ago when I took my dog there to have him groomed -- an appointment I made about a month before. I received a text from them that said his appointment was at 9 a.m., and I walked in at 9:02. The woman at the front desk was snippy and said they were going to charge me a $20 fee because he was late. I said, "The text said that his appointment is at 9." She told me that it was 9:02, and if the appointment is at 9, that means he needs to be there before 9. She bragged that someone came in one minute late the day before and they had to pay the fee. I honestly thought she was joking. I assumed the owner didn't know how they were treating good customers, so I asked if he was there and if I could talk to him. He came in and was immediately rude and aggressive. I calmly mentioned that I was two minutes late and that we have been coming there for years. I thought he would at least apologize and say, "I understand how you feel, but it's our policy." It still would not have made it right, but I would have at least felt heard. Instead, he was extremely emotional and told me that he had already called another customer to come in because I was late. He kept telling me how much my being late had inconvenienced him. I said, "Well, I'll pay the fee, but I don't plan to bring my dog back in the future." He began to scream at me, and told me to take my dog and that he wasn't going to groom my dog. I tried to de-escalate the situation. I was in shock and didn't know what to say. I couldn't believe this was really happening. I was in disbelief that a business owner would act this way. I stayed calm the entire time, but he continued to throw a fit. I asked him to go ahead and groom my dog, and he told me that my dog would be the last one out since he was the last one there. I almost said, "I thought you called someone else to bring in their dog," but I didn't. I said that was fine. The most upsetting part is that ever since I picked up my dog, he had been shaking and extremely skittish. We are worried about how he was treated while he was in their care. Needless to say, we will never take him there again. I've never written a negative review before, but I do not want others to go through what I did. I wish I could give less than one star.
