Ahead of the wedding we went over everything we desired and envisioned, and Shawn worked with us to make sure he was able to capture what we wanted. He was always thoughtful, accommodating, and creative with us. Throughout the wedding day Shawn was attentive to everyone, professional, and was always looking for the perfect shots to truly capture our wedding. And he definitely captured it perfectly! After the wedding we continued to stay in touch as we waited for our wedding highlight and full video, and the videos did not disappoint! We received a very thoughtful care package that included our videos plus a movie watching kit with popcorn and candy, something we did not expect. The guys that shot the video were awesome. They were enthusiastic.abput being thwre and they just had really good vibes. It felt like we were hanging out with friends. I hate being in front of a camera when it comes to video. They made me feel so comfortable and after a while I didn't even notice the cameras. When it came down to the editing, Tim was really great about making changes according to our feedback so that our video would be really personal. We love our video and watching it brings us back to that very special day. I highly recommend Ridge Production to anyone looking for a unique and personal wedding video.

We had an awful experience with Ridge Productions! Once we received our wedding video back we were…read morein shock that this is the work of a professional company. Important moments during our ceremony were omitted from the video. I had made a special audio for my husband, a prayer for us, for our walk and this was left out of the video!! We did a mash up dance that was also omitted from the video! Our cousins did a fabulous dance for us that was also left out! WHY? These are important moments of the wedding! It should be noted that I had communicated with Ridge Productions before our wedding that these special moments must be included in the video. During another important moment, the marriage contract, the entire video footage was shaky, I felt like my 7 year old nephew could have taken better footage. So careless at such a sensitive time! To make matters worse the audio during our marriage ceremony and contract was way off and didn't match the video. What is going on? During our speeches, the coloring of the video was off and again, shaky footage. I just can't understand how you could do this for someone's wedding? We paid for the Platinum package, which was the highest package available. Doing this with an expectation that we would be pleased with the results. To our dismay, we were beyond disappointed! Through my interactions with Ridge via email, and phone, I really tried to work this out and edit the video. After the 1st edit I was shocked that what I received still had the same issues!! I was so sad and it was so hard to even look at the video again to make notes for our 2nd round. I finally sat down and worked on all my notes. The owner Tim completely blew me off and said there is nothing else he can do for us!!! WHAT?? Our contract states we are entitled to 2 edits. We didn't even get 1 edit because our video was never in a normal state. There was so much work and issues with the original video. Now we have to pay to get our video edited by another videographer. I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY! BIG FAIL!

John was alway available for a quick Zoom call, responding to our call or email quickly. He even drove down to meet with us at his office when it was closed and sat down to go over our timeline. Our photographer was MIA and difficult to get a hold of. So having John was really helpful and reassuring in the planning process. He made the entire process from booking him, to the day of the wedding and from receiving the videos so easy. On the day off, John and his crew arrived on time and was patient with the makeup artist who was running behind. Their was no pressure when things weren't running on time and he went with the flow. John was SO easy to work with, gave great direction on how we should pose and guided us during the day. He and his crew were so professional and nice. He showed us shots that he took throughout the day and we loved seeing them. You really want to work with vendors who you trust, know that will get the job done without needing a lot of direction and are easy to get along with. John and the entire VIP crew was exactly that. 100% customer service and satisfaction and that's exactly what you want from your vendor when planning such a stressful event. Having a backyard small wedding during COVID allowed us to get a drone and so glad we did. It really added an extra touch without it being intrusive or loud while we were getting married. Book the drone!!! Must get the drone!!! So glad we did. Not only is John a great guy but a great videographer. He has a detailed eye and gift for capturing moments. So many cool gadgets/cameras/ ect that was evident in the final product. We loved loved our videos. We got the highlight, 30 minute edit, full edit and the raw footage. Spectacular!!!!!! We will be using John and VIP for all our parties and will refer him. And this is a real review. Sometimes you go through reviews and it's the companies friends/family ect that leave the positive reviews and you have to take it with a grain of salt. But no this is 100% legit! Others in attendance made other style lamps but the glass dome was the common denominator and you could upgrade before you started if you wanted to. Elisa was our instructor and she was very charming and a fun facilitator. During the workshop we received Turkish tea and a sample of Turkish delight candy. It was a nice touch to round out the day. The entire project comes in a box and you work on the glass globe in class with your pattern, glue and tweezers all included. Prices vary on what project you pick ranges from $50-$150. It's totally worth the value for a 2.5 hr class. Good for any craft skill levels. I would say ok for teenagers and up but not for smaller kids. You have to be careful with your glass globe as well as the very small glass and mirror pieces. I took pictures to show the workshop and some of our progress. We finished gluing the glass patterns on and only need to finish off with the plaster kit at home to complete the globe and assemble our Aladdin's Lamp. A great day with your bestie if you enjoy a craft project like this or interested in a crafting challenge.

The DVD is amazing and really only because of the care she pours into each and every job. The fades in and out between shots, the repairs to 70 year old prints, the music and so much more makes for a superb end product that even my young teen sons sat through it captivated. I only refer Leika for all transfer jobs and even had her transfer the ultra sound of my son- since we no longer own a VHS player. He loved it!!!!
