Total lack of respect and decorum demonstrated by many parents during presentation of diplomas. Also, one of the graduates displayed a Palestinian flag while accepting his diploma...indicative of the cultural norms and doctrine espoused by this progressive school. We felt anything BUT included in this farce of a ceremony. IMHO there is an abject failure of leadership at this school...atmosphere was miserable to say the least.

It has been an exciting, enriching and rewarding experience for all three. Even though we live in a community with a nationally ranked public school system, we chose Wellington because of the small class size and personal attention that a school of Wellington's size can deliver. We have not been disappointed. Our children thrive academically. They also have the opportunity to be in the band, play three different sports (lax, basketball and soccer) throughout the year without worries of being cut from the team (Wellington has a "no cuts" policy) and they can be in theater productions. Wellington encourages diversity in student interests and demonstrates its commitment to diversity in its teachers and in the students it accepts. Wellington parents are friendly, involved and welcome at Wellington. While some schools emphasize "rigor," Wellington seeks "engagement." Wellington students are engaged, active learners who generally are inspired to learn more, do more. It's an amazing place.

Instead we were called in by three individuals, and were told that the school was not a good fit for our 4 year old. No suggestion's on what we can do to help her. Just being told that she couldn't come back. Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience" Where was the kindness, humility, gentleness and patience with my child? This school should be ashamed of themselves and everything they represent. They have destroyed a four year olds self esteem. An innocent child who has never done anything to anyone.

CCA is her fourth school (all private, for comparison), and without question, it has been the best educational experience we have had. While my daughter has always been a good student, she has truly blossomed at CCA. She loves coming to school each day and is genuinely excited about what she is learning. At her previous schools, she often couldn't tell me what she learned--or simply wasn't interested--but at CCA, she gets in the car and immediately starts sharing historical and scientific facts, explaining the plot of classic books, or proudly talking about how quickly she can complete multiplication and division. The curriculum is engaging, thoughtfully taught, and clearly effective. Just as importantly, the school culture has been a breath of fresh air. At her previous school, I noticed a concerning shift in her attitude due to peer influence. At CCA, students are intentionally taught strong moral values, and it shows--students treat one another and the staff with respect. The faculty is supportive, engaged, and clearly invested in both academic excellence and character development. We are incredibly grateful to have found CCA and would wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent looking for a school that prioritizes both learning and character. It's a low, accessible playground, with lots of interactive things, stepping stones and balance beams, short climbing stuff, etc. The swings have a variety of seats/types, and a couple for wheelchairs. She used those to lay down and swing on, sort of like a hammock. She liked the stepping and balancing things. Parking right beside it. One or two benches. Some shade. Very nice.
