I was contacted by Worthman Rooging advertising there Roof and Gutter service. I was informed the gutters would be cleared of all leaves and debris in addition the gutters would be washed inside and out. Roof inspection with some tiles replaced if needed. i was informed by rheumatologist project person when they came he did not have the equipment with him. Project individual called the office, appointment rescheduled. Day they were to come no show, no call. After 6 attempts to contact them, leaving messages someone called. This individual claims they could do it, but not for the amount already paid. Also,they will blow the roof and gutter, not bag or clean up area. the ind that came indicated they will bag all debris. Worthman has lied, changed their story on what they do. Couldn't answer questions. Refused to let me speak to a supervisor. if you read BBA report there are numerous complaints. read more

Worthmann Roofing replaced our roof in May 2022. By fall 2023, it leaked. They came out, did a quick repair, and patched the ceiling. Less than a year later, the leak returned. They found rotted wood and visible mold. A storm also blew off shingles around the same time. I reported everything immediately and followed up multiple times. After months of silence, I sent a certified demand letter in December 2024. They never replied. It is now January 2026. Worthmann has gone completely silent, no repairs, no updates, no accountability. I've filed formal complaints with the state and BBB. Extremely disappointed in how they've handled this. Warranty means nothing if a company disappears when it matters. Update (April 2026): After filing formal complaints, a representative from Worthmann Roofing contacted me. They indicated they are working on a plan to address the issue. As of now, I have not yet received a written repair plan or timeline, and the matter remains unresolved. I will update again once there is a concrete plan and the work is completed. read more

Recently had gutter work done and they didn't finish the job. Said they would come back and never did... then put a lien on our house god the 2nd half of the payment. When I called they said the Lien was a mistake but then won't take it off and still haven't finished the work! Communication is bad, they seem to have done staff turn over- which is never good. They made a mess with their dumpster and ac. I believe the venting system on the roof is blocked in places. I have been having venting prob lens since roof was replaced. Roof does look good. Insurance paid for it is we are paying insurance back with higher premiums. read more

We needed damage repaired after Hurricane Helene. This company looked like they had a good rating so we went with them. Donovan, their sales rep, showed up and he, my wife, and I went over what the problem was. We agreed to have the back side of the house roofing replaced along with part of the front up to the beginning of the third window. The cost was to be $6200. We explained we had limited funds for this as we had gotten help from FEMA. We wanted to get the tarps off of the roof and the leaks fixed. Donovan said that was no problem, told us how this company was all about Christian values, and helping people was their biggest motivation. When the day came, we asked Donovan, Paul, and another guy who was leading the crew to not drop debris on our AC unit or the gardens on the back and side of the house. They assured us they would be careful and started the job. The next day when they "completed" the job, We noticed they had only gone halfway to the second window in the front. This didn't cover the area where the leak was nor was it what we agreed to. Donovan said we had signed the contract and he didn't remember us all agreeing to this. A lie. Then he tried to tell us how he saved us money by not going as far, thus saving us the cost of materials. I asked him how that was when they covered less area but charged us $137 more than the agreed price. He later said he mismeasured but would make it right by "giving us a break" to get to the third window. This "break" came to the tune of an additional $750. I suggested he finished the rest of the roof since most of it was done for a total of $10,000. This price included what was already done. He said that wouldn't be a problem and would put it together and contact me. When he did, he said it wouldn't work and it would be another $6000 to complete it. This is $200 less than what it cost to do one whole side and part of the front! On top of that, they destroyed the gardens we had talked about and severely damaged our AC unit which we are now having to get fixed, our roof still leaks, and we still have to have tarps up there! At that point, I decided to speak to his manager Sean who, in stereotypic used-car salesman fashion, can't seem to return my call. So much for those Christian values! Bottom line: you would have to be CRAZY or extremely masochist to use this company. So, after reading the response to this review, I call back and speak to Chris, the general manager. He tells me that, in his eyes, they fulfilled the contract. Despite this, he said he would see what he could do in the spirit of good business. I reiterated the offer to finish the roof which he said he could do. Initially, we were to pay $5000 (which we did) and were to finance the balance through them. Now, suddenly, they couldn't do that. Chris said he would see what solution he could come up with. He assured me he would call me back by late morning the next day. That was three weeks ago and still nothing. Later in the day, a guy showed up and put an even larger tarp on my roof. I guess that was his idea of a solution. Don't do this to yourself! Don't use this company! read more

This company did my roof. they are very careless and made following damages during their work. 1, They broken my irrigation sprinkler. the manager Philip promised to pay for the sprinkler's respire, but I never received the payment. 2. They broke my AC ventilation pipe. they sent an AC guy back to connect the AC pipe but left a big hole on the ceiling. I have called many times, they continue to refuse to come back fix it. 3. They leaned the ladder against the gutters and deformed them. The workers then just used their hands to push out the deformation. Now the gutters are completely broken and leaks water everywhere and floods the area in front of the house when it rains. I ask them to come back to properly fix it, and they refused to do so. I have called them many times. Initially they constantly state that the project manager, Ashley, is not available. When she finally called back, she says the manager, Philip, will call. Philip never called back. When I finally reached Philip, he had Savannah to call to get photos and videos from me. Savannah initially said she will send information to the warantee team. Two days later, Philip stated that they will not do the work to repair the damage. Most laughably, when I tried to reach them through their facebook page stating the damages they have done and not repaired, they deleted the post within two minutes and blocked me on facebook. read more

Horrible experience. They did a bad job on the original install. I found a bunch of holes in my attic afterwards. I had to fight them to get it fixed. 8 patches on a brand new roof. Ridiculous. The repair team that showed up was unprepared and had to use my tools all day. Had to babysit these guys to make sure I got good work. Now, Phillip Martinez refuses to answer my calls when the situation still hasn't been rectified. If you already bought a roof from this company I highly recommend getting in your attic and checking your decking. These people give new meaning to the word unethical. read more

We do not advise using this company. Our experience with them was fraught with problems. The first one was an increase in price. They had provided a quote/estimate/bid for the sellers of the property we bought in December. When the sales agent remeasured, he said he had made a mistake in the calculations and needed $1740 more on an $8160 contract price. We had already signed and agreed to the first price and now needed more money to get a new roof. On the day they began tearing off, a worker stepped through the roof, causing a huge hole in the ceiling and dumping dirt and debris onto a desk with work papers on it. We immediately notified the office that this happened, and they told us we neglected the roof, it was our fault, and that's why the damage occurred. When told we just bought the house, they then said roofing was dangerous work, and these things happen, and they weren't responsible. We asked if it is so dangerous, why wasn't a supervisor on the job? That didn't sit well, and from then on, there was conflict. We got where we wouldn't communicate with them and did so through a family member who had been in roofing 40 years. Worthmann refused to pay for the damages they caused when they stepped through the roof. We ended up taking care of it ourselves, but they didn't even offer to cover THEIR OWN MISTAKE. At one point, they were afraid we weren't going to pay them and stopped work. Of course, they were paid for their work, but they didn't deduct the cost of repairs to the ceiling. They claim their contract doesn't cover damage to the inside, but this was caused by the outside actions of their workers. Yes, the roof is nice, but any decent company could do a decent roof. What makes the value for dollar is customer service and good will and this company made NO effort to make good on their damage. DO NOT USE THEM. WAIT FOR A GOOD, DECENT, RESPECTABLE COMPANY. PS. Drew just responded. I want to point out that what he rebuts can't be true. Before they came to provide the new roof, his agent repaired the leak to hold long enough to get the new roof. There had been no new leakage for a few weeks or rain to speak of when they finally arrived. So, a "dripping wet drywall" is a total fabrication. Also, our family member did not say that they were not at fault. He said they would NEVER ADMIT THEY WERE AT FAULT. Big difference (Besides, how can we be responsible for not maintaining a roof we had only owned three weeks?) Our family member suggested we were better off not letting them into our house. We had gutters installed on our mobile home the other day by Worthmann Roofing and Gutters. Chazz and Charlie were the guys that done the work and they did a great job. They showed up at 7:30 am to get the work done which included having to cut the metal that we have had on our roof which was the thick metal. They got started shortly after they arrived and had the complete job done by 11:30 am. I had Worthmann out last year to look at a leak and quote a total reroof. For the repair, job too small. Fair enough. For the reroof ... I'd say how much they quoted but it was laughable and would sound unbelievable. At least they were timely in getting out to me but worthless (pun intended) thereafter. Don't use this company!!!! They told me I needed a new roof because of a small leak around a vent stack. Being a first time home owner and having a 10 year old roof, I agreed not knowing better. After a $13,000 new roof on my 1000sq ft home in Gainesville Florida, I STILL HAVE THE SAME LEAK. I have called Worthmann back out 4 times and each time instead of replacing the 10 year old vent stack, they just keep plastering more tar around the pipe and surrounding shingles. It is a MESS and STILL LEAKING. Wondering what else they did and didn't do correctly. Worthmann owner will not reply to emails and phone calls. This company has a sales team that seems honest but then the company does not follow through with promises. DON'T TRUST Worthmann and be prepared to get a lawyer. read more

The Worthmann salesman (Scott Register) seemed extremely sincere and low pressure. I felt comfortable hiring this company that has had many positive reviews. Post-hurricane, things moved along fairly quickly. Although the start date was delayed, the roof was installed in two days as promised. I had also been promised that all of the installers would be Worthmann employees with logo'd uniform shirts. They were not. They were a pickup crew that was used by several different roofing companies working in my community. No one on the crew spoke English. One of my kitchen ceiling lights was broken by the crew. I reported it to the foreman (Kevin) but since I was planning to replace those anyway, I did not make an issue of it. The real trouble began after my roof was completed. As I was replacing inside ceilings, it was obvious that the plywood sheeting under the roof was damaged. Initially, Kevin the foreman came to look and agreed that piece of sheeting probably should have been replaced during the roof installation. My interior contractor offered to brace that piece and it was agreed we would wait to see if any other plywood was damaged as ceilings were removed in other rooms. In fact, all of the ceilings that were removed showed damaged plywood. I reported this to both Scott and Kevin. At that point, they stopped replying to me. Although a permit was pulled for my roof, no inspections had ever been performed. I continued to pursue the matter with the Sarasota County Bldg Inspector and found out that Worthmann had never requested any inspections. In fact, the Bldg Inspector told me the permit I paid for was unnecessary. I continued reaching out to Scott, Kevin and also Phillip Martinez, Director of Production at Worthmann. Phillip and his boss called me one day out of the blue. They refused to acknowledge any responsibility for the plywood sheeting. They did confess that they didn't need the permit and said they would refund the permit cost. I had also been requesting a lien release for months. Its been several weeks since that phone call. I have not been refunded the permit cost. I have not received a lien release. I have not been able to have the plywood sheeting replaced. I paid in full the balance owed on the day, 4 months ago, that my roof was finished. I did what I was supposed to do. Apparently, Worthmann isn't interested in doing what they are supposed to do. read more

First of all they ordered the wrong color for our roof! And they still haven't even acknowledged that fact which is upsetting to say the least! There are many places on the roof that look like someone cut them with a blindfold on. A piece of metal on the front is bent the ridge cap on the top is warped. It is just overall a sloppy job and we are extremely dissatisfied with our new roof and I will not recommend this company to anyone ever. We asked them to please leave our gutters alone and they were the first thing they destroyed. Deceptive Sales tactics: The sales person told me verbally and in writing during a text exchange to clarify terms of the contract that they would also do minor repair to woodwork that squirrels had damaged where the roof meets the house. This was an important reason I selected this company over competitors. They did not do the work and when I asked about it they insisted they never agreed to do it. After I showed a supervisor the text exchange they admitted the salesperson did state they would do the work but also stated it wasn't actually in the contract and so they only offered me $350 off the total cost. read more

Buyer beware! Worthmann is only willing to do the bare minimum across it's business. Things are even worse than we could have imagined. New roof leaked! AND, Worthmann gutters have failed in less than two years despite being cleaned monthly. Gutters caused a MASSIVE mold issue in our crawlspace because water from the roof was getting in and pooling instead of being diverted from the house as gutters are supposed to do. Gutters are uneven and 2" away from the fascia despite paying for seamless gutters because they didn't measure the lip of the roof to be shorter, allowing water between the gap. Caused the fascia and soffits to rot. 30k later (mold remediation and crawlspace encapsulation, not including the 26k for the roof), please get your Worthmann roof inspected by a 3rd party! This nightmare only gets worse. Now we need 15k of new soffits, fascia and gutters by a different company. Now have mold issues in an autoimmune home! 3 inspectors and 3 other contractors all agree - the roof and failing gutter system are the cause of our pooling water in the crawlspace that have caused mold. What an exhausting and completely avoidable nightmare. read more

Decided not to go with windows but do siding with them then the communication within the company and us fell through. They said they could not contact us. I had a wonderful experience with them from the moment I called asking for an estimate. The office staff were very friendly and helpful and I had my quote within 48 hours! I obtained quotes from 2 others in town and the staff were rude when I called and my quotes took weeks to get back. Leon was with me from the very beginning and he was always available any day or time to answer my questions. When it came time to install the roof, the team was very organized and you could hardly tell anything happened around my house. We are very surprised when get the final invoice.... @$125 per sheet plywood...that are selling for $30-40 per sheet at Homedepot or Lowes....
