I was in my 20s at the time and am now in my 40s and child free. This experience forever shaped my perspective on women's health. The same doc also irresponsibly did a pelvic lap for LUQ abdominal pain. Put me at risk for what? Insurance money? Dr. Tomani and her staff were professional and provided great care for a long time. I even recommended the practice to friends. Gradually, aesthetic procedures and treatments were promoted. I'm not interested in these money-making services; the staff respected my lack of interest. The reason I left this practice was because twice no one called to inform me of the cancellation of early morning appointments. Babies and emergencies come on their own schedule; of course I'd have understood had I just been contacted. But no one bothered to let me know. Not faulting the front desk staff, who were apologetic. It's the lack of communication from a nurse or other patient staff "to" the front desk that seemed to be the problem. When I expressed my dismay, I was treated very rudely by a woman (nurse, medical assistant?) who came to the waiting room from the back patient area. I don't appreciate being disrespected in this manner. Dr. Tomani should look into how some of her staff speak to patients. It's affects her reputation and business.

I am grateful for this office's efficiency in getting patients in and out at their scheduled times. I never there for longer than 40 minutes at a time and it is the most refreshing thing when compared to other offices I've been to. In my five years, I've only ever been seen for my annual appointments, which I typically schedule about three months out. I never have an issue with their phone system, and have scheduled appointments and had issues with my prescriptions settled with ease in all cases. Dr. Amy Smith is my current physician and I can't recommend her enough. She is to the point, reassuring, friendly, and a true gem. Don't let the star rating scare you away if you are looking to make a switch or are new to the area, as the location and vibes of this office = 5 stars.

I forgot to call back on that Friday so I called today (about 5 days after) and it was too late for august or sept. I Asked to go into October... Staff currently does a brief questioning regarding COVID before you can even enter the lobby, and seating inside is spaced out very well to uphold social distancing guidelines. More about the staff... they're awesome. From those at the check in desk, to nurses, NP's and more, everyone was so nice and professional. This was my first pleasant experience with getting lab work - nurses are gentle, caring, informative, and are easy to talk to. I look forward to returning to PP for future appointments, and will absolutely recommend PP and especially this location to friends and loved ones. I would suggest not using this practice. The billing department was extremely rude and…read moreunprofessional when contacted about a billing error. They charged me for a full routine exam, when all I did was a visit to meet the Doctor to see if I wanted to become a new patient. The woman in charge of billing laughed at me and said her system was right because it was entered as an exam, so that's what it was. She wouldn't even look into it. I suggested contacting the Doctor among other things and she refused to help, just laughed and said that patients always think they shouldn't pay for their visit. I'm sorry, but there was NO EXAM!!! Billing for something that didn't happen is fraudulent!
