Our truck is my husbands pride and joy. He saw an ad for HI-TECH COLLISION CENTER in Hudson, Florida. Immediately my husband took the truck to them. He removed the tailgate and left it with them. HI-TECH COLLISION CENTER told him it would take a few days. True to their word, the tailgate was completed quickly. I found someone I wanted to have do the job, provided the information to H&R and they paid the detailer and I am happy to close this chapter. This was a learning experience for both of us I believe. This was my first time having to deal with a car repair after an accident. The insurance, the waiting, and the waiting. In closing I think that this company learned the importance of communication and will most likely not put a part on that is damaged, and I have learned that not everything will go as smoothly as I would like it to. He got my engine "jumped" and afterward said that I really should replace it ASAP. I took his advice. I drove to a parts retailer and the woman tested my battery, told me that it was defective. I bought it and she installed it. Things and autos cost money. Well worth it to have a running vehicle.

I brought my car to Meredith Auto for a vibration in the front left dashboard. Lee, the owner, went for a drive with me and heard the vibration. He suspected the kick panel. The car was ready in about an hour and a half, but the vibration was unchanged. I returned to the shop. Lee said he had replaced clips in the kick panel and that the vibration was gone when he drove it. However, the vibration was still present. We went for another drive, and although he acknowledged the noise, he said it was the panel and that he didn't know what else to do. No further diagnostics were performed. I later took the car to another garage which found multiple problems. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Meredith Auto for diagnostic work.
