(1st time)On May 14th 2026 I went to Tuffy to have a full set of tires put on along with other work. Driving home it doesn't feel right. I drove it about 15 miles to see if it was still shakening. It was out of alignment. They let me leave without balancing the tires?? (2nd time)Took it back to them a couple of weeks later They checked it and told me a weight must have fell of the back passenger tire. Said they checked all the tires. Guess what still the same. (3rd time) Took it back again they had it for 2 hours and I watched them check the tires again. After 2 hours the manager came out and told me two back tires are "out of round". I ask what needs to be done. They told me that's on me, that I need to contact the manufacturer about the tires. He gave me NO numbers and basically said to bad so sad. Told me its Mavis's corporate policy. I called the corporate office and Tracy did a great job helping me. She was flabbergasted at what they told me. She she that is completely untrue. He should have done a warrentary claim and then we could go from there. I told her I'm not going back there. She set me up with Tire Kingdom. (4th time)Rich at Tire Kingdom was awesome. Great human skills and stayed in contact with me. The had my truck for 3 days because they found that the two tires were bad. (Tuffy)They installed bad tires. I went to pick it up on 07/03 and the manager Steve the SM said I had to pay for install of the new tires. WHAT? They had all my past problems documented and the manager wanted me to pay for something that should have been right the first time. Of course I told him I'm not paying Here's my question, if they were an honest group, not profit before quality service ,why did it take four times to find this problem. Corporate has a detail set of notes about this situation. I'm leaving out the real issue I had and that's how I was treated and talked to. I have called corporate three times and each time requested the regional manager to call me. Well he has not and that tells me everything I need to know bout MAVIS. Great corporate speak but the retail execution, communication and behavior is unacceptable. These Guys represent your brand., I will never use any Mavis tire stores again. I am posting to Facebook, BBB, Reddit and the corporate site if I can. Thanks for wasting hours of my time. BTW I kept the locations out of it. Maybe if the Regional director would have called me I could have given him more information. Terrible service

I've been here several times for various things from an oil change to installing new motor mounts and each time I come in, the service is just as good as the first time I was here. I'm not from Florida, we moved down here from NYC so I had not owned a car in well over a decade. I bought a used one and then brought it in to Honest-1 Auto for an inspection to see if there was anything major wrong with it. The first person I dealt with was Willie Vazquez, the General Manager. I spoke to him over the phone, he got me in right away. I should've brought the car in before I purchased it, luckily there wasn't anything majorly wrong with it but I didn't know that. If Willie were dishonest, he could've said there was something wrong with it and I probably would've gone ahead and paid to have it 'fixed' because I would not have known any better. I appreciate his honesty. I also met George Maajoun the Service Advisor. He's straightforward with prices and cost of labor etc. I've never gotten blindsided by a last minute extra charge or "added fees". My repairs always cost exactly what George tells me they will cost. I appreciate that. It's hard to budget for car repairs when the shop you're dealing with keeps upping the cost, that won't happen to you here. This shop is the most honest one I've ever been to! An honest auto repair shop is like a 'Rare White Elk', they exist but the chances of ever encountering one are slim. Happy to report you have a 'Rare White Elk' here in Carrollwood! 03/16/26 - Knorr's Car Care Center Saves the Day!…read more We had a horrible experience with the Walmart Auto Center in New Port Richey and hope to save others from the same. Three weeks ago, we had an oil change done at the Walmart Auto Center on 54 in New Port Richey. Before having the oil changed, our car didn't leak oil, at all. After the oil change, we noticed that it was leaking oil a lot. We took it back, they looked at it and they said they couldn't tell where the oil was leaking from, even after cleaning it off and checking the plug and oil filter. The Manager claimed that she had run it for about an hour while watching it on camera and saw no leaking. She also said the oil level was fine. Today we noticed it was leaking even more and when we checked the oil, it was low about a quart. We took the car to Knorr Car Care Center to have them check it out. They were able to get to the car today and immediately identified that the oil filter was not installed tightly and wasn't sealed, AND the oil drain plug wasn't in all the way. They were able to immediately resolve the issue and said that the diagnostic cost they quoted us covered the cost of taking care of the problem! We have found our new local auto center and will be recommending them to others as well!

For a car that still drives?? Yeah, no. So instead of panicking, I did what I always tell y'all to do--I got a second opinion. I started calling around, checking reviews, doing my research, because one thing about it... I refuse to be played about my money OR my peace. That's how I found Mad Hatter Mufflers & Welding here in Tampa. When I tell you the vibe was right and the people were genuine? Baby, they got my car in, fixed my exhaust leak AND another issue in less than an hour... and only charged me a little over $300. From $10,000 to $300. Let that sink in.
