In-office (Port Huron) care was good. They helped me and my husband pick out and size the knee brace needed. Yay! My daughter, on the other hand, had traumatic tibial plateau fracture with surgical repair. Wright and Filippis charged her $500.00 for the brace she was sent home with post surgery. It could have been ordered and over-nighted from Amazon for $150.00. The exact serial number as the one sent home with her. Im sorry but this overcharging is absolutely obsurde! read more

Very difficult to get into. Couldn't tell you if they are good or not. They aren't good at communicating, following up or scheduling. I got a helmet for my child and have had issues with it. It probably only needed a slight adjustment but I've been trying to get in for 3 weeks. He's currently in a rapid growth phase and thus the most ideal time for helmet use. Getting an appointment for help to refit is absurdly difficult. If you have a choice go somewhere else. read more

I made an appointment for custom orthotics. The receptionist Tammy was helpful in booking my appointment. When I went in for the orthotic fitting I stood at the desk for 10 minutes while 3 people sat there looking at their computers. No one acknowledged me. Finally Tammy acknowledged me, she looked annoyed. No greeting, no smile. I went back to the person fitting me, I think her name was Melissa. No smile, seemed annoyed, had to pry information out of her. After asking multiple questions she became more caring. Today I called for an update on the status of my orthotics, again Tammy answered, so abrupt, seemed annoyed. I'm so sorry I chose them, I was given a list of multiple companies, I should of went somewhere else. I will update after I get the orthotics. I was told I would get them in a week, Tammy told me 3 weeks. We shall see. Go somewhere else where people care!!!!!! read more

It is june 19th 2018 i still havent got in 6 weeks they had 2 days only i could pick up and 1 was TOMORROW and no way there and other day i got appoitment with leg specialist. They dont work with you at all. This business sucks period. But cause only buisness that custum fits your stuck. Cause they dont care if get money for giving to you or not. Terrible experience with one of the orthotists here. Was instructed to fill out a review card and mail it in, requested to be contacted by phone on that and never heard back. Wrote a detailed letter to corporate, no response. Absolutely terrible customer service and unprofessional business. One would think that operating in an automotive community where quality is the most important concern, the management at Wright and Filippis would get professional help for their employees who have contact with the public. In my experience, at every step of the way along an attempt to get a knee brace I was given different stories from every person I dealt with; all lies because the person just did not have an answer. In car making most mistakes happen when a hand off of information is made from one person to another and that is CLASSIC WRIGHT AND FILIPPIS!!! Because of the number of potential customers available, this company will continue to bump along while offending 3 out of every 10 customers until they insult their way out of business or sell it to a professional competitor. read more

Horrible business to go to. I cleared everything for my knee brace script with blue cross. Knew exactly what i was able to order and what my percentage was. Went in, got fitted , chose the brace that I wanted. I had to email them a week and a half late because i had heard nothing. The girl from W and F said that my insurance wouldnt cover a specific brace and I had to get the downgraded version. So I called Blue Cross to verify with them and to find out why. Well we ended up on 3-way call with W and F and the girl tried to tell me that oh your insurance covers it but we aren't willing to order that brace because of the cost. I told the girl to re-read her email. She tried to blame it on the insurance company for the cost instead of w and f not wanting to order. I am waiting to hear from Binsons... And also waiting for them to send me back my prescription. Horrible horrible horrilbe.. Trying to blame the insurance company when in fact its them who doesnt want to pay. Sadly the upgraded brace is only $40more. I say go somewhere else if you need any medical equipment.... read more

very horrible experience. went for a wrist spleen prescribed by a doctor. My size was not available at that time and they said that, they would place an order and get it the next day. But next day when i called it had not arrived again they said they would get next day for sure..but they never got it even after 4 days and they say the same answer. if they had told they were not sure when they would get it then i would have looked for other options. because of it, i had no spleen for my muscle sprain for about a week which caused more inflammation in my wrist. very unprofessional people, who are not even concerned about their customer. they just lie all the time assuring that they are going to lie again and again. giving 1 star as no option to rate below that. read more

I had a horrible experience at Wright & Filippis. I scheduled an appointment, came in and was fitted for Orthotics. They told me that they would be ready in a couple of weeks. When I called back, they told me they were having billing issues and that it would be a bit longer. I found this very odd since I had met my deductible for the year and was told on two occasions that there would not be a charge. Very shortly after they contacted me to tell me they were in. When I tried to schedule an appointment (Early December), I was told that the doctor that I saw had left the company and they were having difficulty scheduling an appointment for me. The next available appointment was Jan 2. I arrived, on January 2nd, and it didnt even seem like they knew I had an appointment. I picked up my orthotics and went home. Months later, I received a bill. When I contacted them, they said that I had received it because I picked up my orthotics in the next calendar year. I expressed how upset I was that I had tried to accomodate them and I received a bill for it. They told me that I would not have to see the doctor that I saw originally and that it was my fault that I could not schedule the appointment. I didnt pick the doctor, nor did I care who I saw. I couldnt even tell you his name. I live 1.5 miles from this location and was off work the entire last 2 weeks of December. There was no reason why I could not pick up the orthotics. They told me that there was nothing they could do. I would never/ will never go back to this business and I would recommend the same to anyone that asks. Dont get ripped off like I did. Done read more
