The next day, I received an email stating that they had refunded the order, and that I would only be able to pay with a money transfer. They never tried to verify me, or ask if I had another card to use. I had also been in constant communication where I was honest and transparent, especially about my frozen card issue. Unfortunately while I understand their need for customers as a small neighborhood business and their struggles as a small community, that's profits come from consistent costumers. I unfortunately was not pleased to find most things in the store do not have price tags, and instead they will try to haggle a price with you. Asking "how much are you willing to pay?" While it does allow leniency if you're into bargaining, for someone who prefers honesty, it isn't an appreciated business practice I'd expect anywhere outside of a flea ,or night market. And despite the many cameras pointed at you and electronic locks on the front door of the shop that can be locked and unlocked from the safety of the counter, they won't let you hold most items in your own hands to examine them. The store often looks empty when it isn't due to heavily tinted windows and a locked door during business hours you have to knock on and stand five feet in front of to get into. It feels like I'm making a back alley deal with a shady scammer even though it's not the case. The people inside or more than respectful, just cautious which I can appreciate. But I don't want to haggle a price, listen to you make a fake phone call to check the price of something and offer me a bogus deal like a mall salesman to get me to buy your product, half of what they have can be found online for much cheaper than they'll try to sell it to you for. And when you refuse to buy they'll noticeably lower the price to something within your price range, but just short of all the cash in your wallet. Again, some might find this to be exciting, but I personally do not and like to pay a fair price set for every customer. The only reason I give this place the rating I have is because they've repaired something of mines that was broken. Good for repairs, but if I wanted electronics I'd find the cheaper deal on Amazon, same item but for 7$'s less guaranteed. It's heartbreaking because I really do resonate with the hustle and empathize with the struggles, but do not approve of their practices. Regardless I still do follow their socials, support all their posts and praise their efforts, but I will not be consistently buying often from the business unless changes are made. It's truly a matter of preference, and I don't mean to bash anyone, just giving my input for those who care and share the same values as I.

End result: I got a really good deal on a used HP laptop. It's fast, runs smooth and the best thing about it is: no Windows 8. Woo-hoo!!! We dickered back and forth with the price a little. Some people hate this but I actually like negotiating prices for things. Prices are aren't always set in stone and it's perfectly fine to ask a company for a better deal. Oh course they said one price and then it changed. $90 went to $129 but we settled for $100 even + tax. Not a bad price to pay for a decent working computer. He offered to replace it himself at no charge! While he fixed my iPhone 7's battery and screen in less than an hour, and at a reasonable price, I ended up staying 2 as he is very smart and a great conversationalist!
