I hired this company to reinforce a sagging cushion on a recliner for my handicapped brother. Donnie spent an hour inserting a piece of foam inside the cushion and stitching the cushion back up. He charged $400 for this. I was shocked. Foam will compress after time and I assumed he would use a better material. I called him to discuss, and he said he was sorry I felt this way. OK, Donnie is a true craftsman. We had a gouge on the top of our painted table top. Donnie came out, assessed the damage and told us it was no problem. He showed up as scheduled a couple of days later and spent about two hours repairing the damage. This included nearly perfectly matching the complex color of the top. The match was very good initially but Donnie spent the time to perfect the match. Repairs of this type are not inexpensive but quality is worth the cost. We are VERY satisfied. read more

I inherited a beautiful wood cabinet from my mother. It had been my grandmother's so I was excited to have it in my home. It fell over during the move and a glass door shattered. Donnie came out to fix a chair leg that had broken off during shipping. He came straight to our house and worked on the chair here, which was very convenient. He was super friendly and professional and it didn't take him too long to get the leg back on securely. I wasn't real worried about the way it looked, I just wanted it to be sturdy and secure. Donnie is amazing!!! His professionalism struck me when he answered my call. My appmt was on a Sunday @9am. He texted when he was on the way. He arrived,with his mask on, 15 mins early and was apologetic! I told him that was a plus in my book. The frame was broken on my sectional leather sofa. After a good sized household move from Locust Grove to Peachtree City, we suffered some damage to several large pieces of furniture and, in addition, some soiling of fabric on several chairs and couches. I called to ask about a sofa repair as the springs had come through the fabric cover underneath. I've had it for years and it's made well so I hoped to keep it instead of replacing it. Donnie answered my call and said he could be there to take a look at it within an hour's time. He arrived and gave me a fair estimate. He said he could fix it right then and there as he had his supplies and tools with him. He did! I'm very happy with the repair and would recommend him to others. Donnie Wright from Wright Furniture Repair came and fixed my recliner this morning. He said he would arrive between 9am & 11am. He sent me a text at 9:15, saying it would be about 45 more minutes, and he arrived a few minutes after 10am. Since he was coming from the opposite side of Atlanta, I thought it was impressive that he was able to estimate that accurately. He came in and looked at the chair, and told me the repair would cost $175. Since my chair has a power lift, which costs more, and the chair was in pretty good shape other than the one repair that was needed, that was definitely worth it to me. The chair works great now! I am soooo disappointed! I first contacted Mr. Donnie mid December regarding a repair I wanted to have done for a family member as a Christmas present. I understood when he said he could do it; however, it would have to be after the holidays. I just gave my relative an IOU for the gift from my daughters and I. I contacted him again the second week of January and he answered some questions I had, referred me to a fabric store and I bought the fabric thinking all was a go. The pickup was set for today between 10:00 and 1:00. After buying the fabric, I reached out to Donnie again to see if he had any pictures of similar items or a website since I merely found him through a Google search. The answer to my questions were no. I was still planning for the pickup trusting that he would guarantee his work. I guess I asked too many questions because after two texts and two unanswered phone calls I realized he has blocked my number. This is very unprofessional. If he chose not to do the job for whatever reason, it would be more appropriate and professional to tell me whenever he made that decision and not have me wasting time, money and having someone to wait at my relatives home for the pickup. read more
