We retained Preston Gardner at Davis Miles to represent us during an already stressful and financially devastating period. Unfortunately, major mistakes were made in handling our case. Among the most serious issues was the failure to properly file a Motion to Compel Abandonment, which nearly resulted in us losing our home. In addition, reaffirmation agreements on an auto loan and second mortgage that we continued paying flawlessly were not properly handled, causing avoidable damage to our credit reports. The fallout from these mistakes was significant. We ultimately had to hire a different bankruptcy attorney to repair the damage and correct the problems created during the process. In total, the errors cost us approximately $30,000. Thankfully, with competent legal help, we were eventually able to protect our home and stabilize our situation. However, the experience with Davis Miles added unnecessary financial harm and stress during one of the most difficult periods of our lives. Surprise: No Dan. NOT going to honor my contract. NO Bankruptcy Helpers - they basically 'use' the name. I could have been saving... planning... something.
