All of my dental providers love me because I take care of my teeth and I am an easy patient. I have never missed an appointment but they elected to cancel my appointment because I wasn't able to confirm my appointment the Friday before my Monday appointment. I had 2 cellular phones and ended up canceling the service on one of them which happened to be the number that they had. There should be a 1 time grace for this type foolishness. I truly felt like a dollar sign as I stood there "checking in" for my appointment. I drove downtown from Evans just to waste so much of my time and energy. I am so disappointed.

So I said all of this to say She had been our family dentist until I relocated to Atlanta, GA in 1996 and even after that because I was still going back and forth visiting remaining family for about two years after that. But her "motto - gentle dentistry" is indicative of the type of service provided at her practice and nothing short in any sense of the word. Chief among his complaints about his visit: 1. The dentist began trying to pull his teeth before his mouth was numb. When he tried to complain he was ignored. 2. The dentist (or an assistant) literally broke several of his teeth while trying to extract them, leaving parts of the tooth in his gums and then trying to dig them out, all while my son was in extreme pain. 3. The dentist spoke very harshly and was in no way professional. 4. The dentures never fit right and caused a lot of pain whenever my son tried to wear them. When my son called a few days later to let them know they still did not fit correctly he was told that he had not given it enough time to heal. Eventually he quit trying to wear them because of the pain. This experience was so horrible l wanted to contact the Dental Association and file a complaint on behalf of my son, but he begged me not to - he just wanted to "move on" and try to forget the experience. Now, several years later, he still can't eat unless he takes his dentures out, so he refuses to eat at a restaurant or out in public. I would strongly urge people NOT to do business with this practice. My son was treated like dirt and STILL needs dentures because of the terrible experience he had with this business.
