Furthermore, I was present the divorce settlement that day in court, under extreme distress and PTSD from an unwanted divorce (difficulty comprehending and processing the information). I wasn't given any direction as to what I could fight, everything went in my X's favor even down to who gets to claim the kids last on taxes. She had confidently told me she could complete my project within 7 days, but it ended up taking her over a month. I understand life happens, but she never communicated throughout the process that there would be delays. It took me persistently emailing her first to finally receive a rough draft of my resume and cover letter. After confirming all the information was correct, I never received an email with the finalized proofread copies. I had to take it upon myself to proofread and edit everything. When I communicated my concerns and dissatisfaction with service, she offered no solution or partial refund and has never followed up with me since. I still feel sick paying the $500 for pretty mush nothing. Lesson learned.
