There is also Art Basil, an Italian Eatery that offers pizza as well as many other choices. It isn't just food. There are plenty of places to shop as well. Plaza de lMar also has a beautiful Publix, a high end shoe store, a Chico's, A Thai restaurant and an ice cream shop. It's a wonderful and relaxing place to spend some time.

Well, today (8/25/2026) I brought my 84 year old mom (with her walker) into the store to purchase another pair of shoes ..she lives in Lake Worth, so it is a bit of a drive. We decided to go back to this store because we both purchased New Balance sneakers in February...and the gentleman that helped us back then was very nice! Don't recall his name... But today was an entirely different experience- I see that there are other comments and reviews for the woman behind the desk- rude and unsympathetic. Lisa C. nailed it with her comments in her review. We walked in and the first thing she said was, "do you have an appointment" and I said No. I asked if my mom could get a pair of shoes and she said "No - you need an appointment- booked for the day"! Then she said quite abruptly "you should have called"...hahahaha- really... I said I was here in Feb. and we just walked in- I asked her when they changed the policy, and she said about a month ago... Unless you are a customer that visits this store every day, how would one know about this policy change? { I viewed the website before I wrote this review and it doesn't even state anything about the required appointment - except: "Appointments for medical issues are highly recommended". Actually, the main webpage states: " We're not your everyday shoe store! Call us today to see how we can help you"! Now that is a pleasant and welcoming statement- too bad they don't carry over that business model into their store.} Then I asked the woman if I could speak to the man who was helping (the one and only customer in the store), and she said "No, you can't" - Hold on whoa!! What is her attitude? Well at that point I turned to my Mom and her aide and said "we are leaving; they are very disrespectful" ...As I passed by the man, I spoke to him directly anyway...asked if he could quickly see my Mom since she is elderly and doesn't get out much....I intentionally spoke to him because unless you are my GOD, you are not going to tell me who I can or can't communicate with...I found out he is the owner and he said he has no staff and he is very ill - of course, I am so sorry for your situation, but you should fire your rude staff person and close up shop now... perhaps you just don't care how you treat people! Karma works in strange ways. Thank goodness for FLEET FEET - they were very accommodating, and my Mom was in her new pair of $150 sneakers within an hour after we left your shop. If I could convince others reading this review not to come to your store then I have accomplished one small deed. Last, Macelle L. wrote a review -she has been going to this store for over 10 years and " has read the bad reviews....The key is to always be kind and compassionate no matter what" - The owners should take her advice!

They were open on a Sunday even though Yelp had it listed as closed. Kates Kollection has a a main room with adult clothing, accessories, house wares, a few pieces of furniture, holiday decorations, and miscellaneous items. The second room has children's clothing, accessories, books, and toys. A few days ago Kates Collection posted on Instagram that the store is closing. They also post about what they have for sale. On the day I visited everything in the store was 50 percent off the already reasonable prices. Head on over for a bargain, especially if you have children. They are still accepting donations until the end of April.

Di Fara is a pizza place in Brooklyn that has been named the best pizza in the country. The man who started it made EVERY pie for years. He died a few years ago but his kids keep it going... great, but not the same with the old man. When I was a kid I used to go to Di Fara so I was psyched to hear they were doing a frozen line of pizzas. The verdict? A really great frozen pizza, especially the sauce and cheese... the crust needs a little work... so good for frozen but doesn't compare to a really good pie at a pizza place. I had the Pepperoni.

EQUESTRIANS BEWARE!!! This is not a place you should trust to fix your tall boot zippers. I dropped…read moreoff a pair of riding boots with one broken zipper and received the boots back with the snaps removed? After two very light rides, the zippers both broke. The zippers they used were much lower quality than the original zippers on my Ego7s. If you don't care to read on, I highly recommend Leather With Love. Terrible quality work in my opinion - I received the boots back in worse condition than they received them in and they are now unusable. Their only offer to fix would be to stretch the boots (which fit perfectly), but every cobbler who works with riders knows that compromises the zipper even more! They claim to have expertise in riding boots but are unaware of how boots are supposed to fit, or how to fix them so they remain durable enough for the sport (which in my case was literally 2 trail rides, beware if you're showing!). When I brought the boots back in, the accused me of lying, saying the boots didn't fit me properly (they do! - they claimed to have a video of me struggling to get them on but I was lightly adjusting my sock so it wouldn't get caught?), and said it couldn't be their work because it didn't look like the zipper they use? What deeply upset me was I was just immediately accused of lying about the wear on the boots, however I'm not local and haven't even been in the state of Florida for long enough to break the zippers between when they were picked up and now. They did terrible quality work and blamed the customer when their work failed. If you read back in the yelp reviews, another customer had this same issue 2 years ago and they have a handful of other reviews suggesting low quality of work or receiving items back with no work completed. Their follow up to the issue included female employee calling me later to scream at me when I said their "resolution" would only further compromise the integrity of the zipper. I am not a "customer is always right" type of person, but that temper with any customer is extremely unsettling. In my experience, people who immediately jump to calling you a liar tend to be projecting and I'm really questioning how legitimate this business is. In my opinion this business is extremely unethical and has a record of quality issues as per their reviews. I'm sure they will respond to place more blame on me, but I'm just a gal who's out $321 and doesn't have any riding boots. I will probably be out another $350 to get them properly fixed. Again, I highly recommend Leather With Love as an alternative and caution any equestrians from trusting this store.

The next day I picked the belt up after they called to say it was ready. I grabbed it and left. Turns out they had not done anything. I went back this morning. I explained that i wanted the belt shortened by moving the buckle. Brian was apologetic. No real issue, stuff happens. He went right in the back and took care of the job. Came out and handedme the belt with the entire leading portion cut away. Told me this is how he does it and it is right. The belt barely reaches the belt loop. TOTALLY RUINED. Plus I had already paid $24! Would give negative stars STAY AWAY
