If there are no pictures and just words it's very likely that my attention span will be very short and once something shiny crosses my path it's over. Now don't get me wrong, I love to read, but having pictures or something visually appealing is also a necessity...which is why I'm a fan my latest discovery, Orlando Style Magazine. This local publication is very visually appealing and has a lot to offer. The cover of this magazine is usually graced by a local celebrity or a gorgeous model wearing something a tad racy but somehow classy at the same time. Inside you'll find stories, news and information on all things central Florida. Aside from the typical advertisements, you'll find lots of pictures of people at events that have happened in and around town. Some of the people in the pictures are well known locally such as socialites, the governor and radio personalities while others are simply those who were lucky enough to attend the event. Considering the title has the word style in it, it's no surprise that this magazine does showcase current as well as up and coming fashion and trends not only in regards to apparel but also hobbies, nightlife and food. This is a good source for keeping in the know what's going on in the area as well as where everyone is hanging out and where you can find the latest hot fashion picks. The articles are also interesting in most issues. While they're not the best I've ever read, they can be entertaining and informative. Overall, I say find a copy and check it out!

As the months have gone by, the realization that the entire "House" cast is so overshadowed by him, that it downplayes his overall talent. Absolutely no chemistry with that Brian DJ and chick who is there sometimes. Very, very bad. Horrible conversations, unintelligent callers and Jonny is left holding the bag. Makes this show BAD. They play off of each others comedy, it's a little filthy, but a good kind of filthy not like creepy old man filthy. It's like sitting around the living room BSing with some friends. The topic range for the absurdly funny to crazy stories of hijinks and musings about life. They also have a news guy too, who is pretty cool. Ross. Sometimes they have special guest, like The Supervillians, or a comedian. If you listen you'll get sucked in and you'll wait for all week for the next show. Tom is awesome too but Dan is really the comic brains that Tom plays off of. I have appreciated Dan's oddball references throughout his radio career and have felt like I was the only one who even heard him after most of his funny quips went unrecognized at his "quarry" job on terrestrial radio. But that's ok, I felt like I had the "in" on his secret jokes that very few people got. I can't tell you how many times I've been really down and depressed but listening to Tom and Dan made everything better just because they got me laughing again. The format of this newspaper is a little bit different from traditional newspapers and upon first glance looks like Orlando Weekly or another local arts and entertainment paper. However, once you open up the first page it's very clear that this newspaper means business...literally. A great deal of the content empowers women and teaches them how to stay and become stronger not only in the work force but in life as a whole. Business aside, you can also find out about what's going on in your community, if there are any events going on and where to shop for both yourself and your family. You get the inside tips and hints from locals that advertisements and other publications don't tell you about. This newspaper overall is like one big secret for women in the area...and I am a fan!
