I came to Dr. Richter on the advice of a friend just over a year ago when I left my doctor in Manhattan who had far too many patients in his large group practice to notice that I was actually far more ill than he had diagnosed. Dr. Richter, a rare solo practitioner in Rego Park, recommended a battery of tests that my other doctor had not, and unfortunately, the diagnosis was bladder cancer.
