This is really the best radio station in the city. The diversity is incredible. Electronic music,…read morebluegrass, indie music, hip-hop, classic rock - it's all there, and it's radio that you want to sit and listen to, not jump around from station to station in the car hoping you'll find some song you're familiar with. Plus, they stream live so you can listen anywhere. Some people think college radio is a certain kind of radio, but WRFL has both student and community helpers, so it's like a perfect hybrid. Seriously, except for maybe NPR - and WRFL has Democracy Now, so it has the best news show on the radio - I really never change my channel. I love this station.

I have to write that this radio station comes through A LOT with good songs; however, just…read morerecently, it is just not cutting it. Recently, however, I tuned into this station in the morning and there is just a bunch of like talk shows and gossip. You have like some gal calling in and then the station contacts the boyfriend etc. etc. I mean why are we getting into peoples' lives? I feel sorry for the dudes that have to take time away, from whatever they are doing (most probably working) and dealing with relationships- it should be handled behind closed doors or in our courts (GOOD LORD..hope it never gets that far O_O)! Can we just play music and stay out of relationships and what not? It is a radio station not a marital/casual dating hotline! With unsolicited calls and privacy invasion, I am surprised there has not been class action lawsuits filed!

During that time, great tunes and a bunch of commercials. Ozzy Osbourne, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Rolling Stones and Bon Jovi, among others. Well over an hour of listening and if you drove past me this afternoon, you'd see me singing along and maybe even playing my air guitar.
