I had to post this after catching the last minute or so of the 11 pm Saturday night broadcast. I seen 3 female musicians, for what I don't know. My complaint is apparently the directors have long since forgot what the news is for. The weather takes forever and unless there is a big weather emergency should only take one minute tops ! They want to entertain us, instead of educating us on what is important. Sports have never had a place in the news, and doing interviews with new business owners is far from news worthy as well. The news organizations are supposed to be OUR WATCHDOGS ! plain and simple ! However they fail at the job every day !. And stopped watching out for us decades ago !. Decades decades decades ! Let that sink in ! Better yet, Google the real function and responsibilities of a news organization. Most have never known, most are too young and some simply don't realize or care ? You would do better and get truth from YouTube ! That should be embarrassing to every news anchor. But it means absolutely nothing even though they all know this to be a fact ! The squeaky wheel gets the grease ! So if you want real news to come back ? Let them know how you feel ! They have no shame and no respect for we the people ! Do the math next time you watch. I was a divorced woman and if I had known about it, it would have been very helpful. The reason for this review though is that I remarried a man who had also gone through a divorce also. The difference is that his ex-wife walked out on him and the 3 boys for another man she met on the internet. He lost everything he had and also his job because at the time he was a truck driver over the road. It was very hard on him to find a job that would cover the cost of living for him and his kids. Sometimes the woman gets the kids but we have to remember sometimes the Dad does. They need as much help as a woman would, and they are the forgotten ones.
