No offer on a discount to replace it or a break on the service call, although Danbys apparently have a reputation. We went to the Appliance and Furniture Center on the highway south of town. Paul was great, talked us through the various models and we settled on a Whirlpool which he just delivered. Very pleasant to work with, and we'd highly recommend the Center.
