At the exact time the owner should have arrived to provide an estimate, I got a call saying that he had just notified the scheduler that he was unable to come. Things come up, so it wasn't that big of a deal, though I'd arranged my schedule around the cancelled estimate. The following week Dennis came by and spent time looking through our home and taking notes. He then took my email address and said I'd be getting an estimate the following day. I waited a few days and then called to make sure they had the correct email address since I hadn't received anything. I still never received a return call, nor an estimate. Making time for a service provider to come give an estimate is not nothing. It takes effort to schedule the visit, tidy up and walk someone through the space. I have two little children too, so managing this around them is also challenging. Because of this, we're weeks behind on starting our project because we had to locate and find someone else to provide a bid. I find it really frustrating that Quality Counts ghosted me before providing an estimate. I would have respected it if he'd said our job was too big or not of interest.

I originally heard of them from half a dozen people at my old place workplace who had them paint and liked their work. Their prices are very reasonable and I knew they prepped all the areas before paining like any cracks or gaps. They did my last 2 houses and now my new house. The walls had many issues from someone who did a lease to own then backed out a year later and left the lovely house pretty torn up. It was painted in a flat off white to hide all the issues. They also had a dog who tore up the wood floors and carpet. They had to resurface the entire area in the kitchen and other areas then sand to make the walls look normal again before starting to paint. They prepped very well so as not to get paint or dust from sanding on any of your items and took whatever time was needed to complete the project in a beautiful manner and no unexpected fees added after the original quote, They cleaned up everything before they left were very respectful at all times and the areas of the house they painted look great. I requested a quote on line and got a call-back within a day. We met with Blaine and he walked us through their process, discussed what we wanted and what Litehouse could do. He took pictures of the repairs and we had a quote within 24 hours. They were able to paint/repair about 1 1/2 weeks later after we accepted the quote. They were great about telling us when they were going to be out at the house and would let us know when they arrived, when they were leaving, and status of the work.
