He had to go on antibiotics and have wound care. I called asking them to cover the bill of about 200 and they refused to speak with me or work with me. After that I decided never again and I told and showed the community what they did. This was a while ago but as I was searching for a groomer today I came upon this one and decided it deserved a review. This is to protect all the voiceless pups out there and to alert owners that if you love your dog don't go here. Hurting a dog accidentally and owning it and apologizing is one thing. Being nasty and difficult and saying this is normal is not ok. A simple apology and pleasant attitude fits a long way.

Unfortunately the next day when I showed up with my puppy for haircut and bath, I asked them to just clean up the face one little matted hair on top of his head, it just needed to be brushed out. I have miniature Yorkie special breed with a silver crown little silver hair on the top. When I picked my dog up, I was so disappointed. I am attaching the picture. They cut the top of the head completely so close in one spot, that it was red irritated skin. When I asked the manager what happened ,the answer was "well there was matted hair so the groomer couldn't brush it out ,so he got it out by cutting it. " And I replied WOW every little dog pools and they don't like to be brushed. Especially my dog is only a year old, I told her that you need to have patience. It looked terrible. Manager had no concerns Amanda front desk, was so surprised and very sad for me. I was very disappointed left in tears because I knew that my husband would be so upset. This is my husband's emotional support dog due to his illness of cancer. I don't think I will be coming back. I will be canceling my membership. Unfortunately I never met the groomer ,never apologize to me and I don't like my dog to be hurt. Very unprofessional behavior, who ever was the groomer that day in Denville location should not work there. You need to have knowledge about dogs and be patient. I brought my own dog here a few times, but the strong odor and noticeable buildup of dog hair made me question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another concern was hearing staff members curse at dogs, which I found unprofessional and upsetting in an environment that is supposed to provide care for animals. The building itself appears outdated and could benefit from significant renovations. In particular, I think the store area should be separated from the dog areas, as the constant barking can make the environment stressful and disruptive. Overall, based on my experience, I did not feel confident in the facility's cleanliness, professionalism, organization, or atmosphere.
