WV Puppy has some very cute puppies! At very reasonable prices. The WV Puppy facilities were clean, brightly lit, and the puppies appeared to be well cared for. The young woman working there, answered all my questions cheerfully. I have notied a lot of bad reviews here on Yelp! Concerning various issues with WV Puppy, but I saw no sign of any wrong doing or neglect of the pups. So if there "had" been any problem with the cleanliness or the neglect of the puppies, They must have corrected the problem. I would recommend this Pet Shopp to anyone who cannot afford a Breeder puppy due to their high cost. It is a good place to get a Purebred puppy and not have to pay Champion Bloodline prices. I just want a puppy for a pet. Well, despite my aforementioned review of WV Puppy, they didn't have the particular breed of puppy I was searching for, so I was not able to get a puppy! Purchased first puppy a few years ago. Very healthy, purchased another puppy about a month ago. Both shih tzu's. This second puppy had a nasal problem. When I called the store after the vet informed me of the medical problem, the store mgr affirmed they knew he had breathing issues but never told us. My wife and I love the pup, so exchange didn't appear acceptable. The surgery is going to cost 1200. All I asked was them to pay for initial vet bill of $80 since they could have told us before we spent $600 on the pup. They played the waiting game and just stopped returning calls. We still love our little pup, great addition to our family. But we're now saving $100 each month for his surgery. Not happy with the business for not telling us before we purchased. Returning $80 was small request, just to help ease the pain. The business delivered a healthy pup a few years ago, but remember they will knowingly sell a sick pup without telling you. If we ever buy another, we will think twice about this vendor. All the best in your puppy search! read more

We took Romeo to the vet and got results from his fecal test. He has parasitic (diarrhea) "giardiasis". It is treatable and can be found in puppies that share close living quarters. It is preventable and that's why I lowered my star rating. Puppies kept in clean and frequently monitored living quarters are less likely to get this parasite. read more

I would have given this place 5 stars but the lady who works there is not very friendly. I just went in there recently and had a bad experience with their customer service. I did buy my Pomeranian there 3 years ago and she has the sweetest temperament and is prettiest doggie ever. I bought her for a very good price in cash. They had a special going on. We bought our very first puppy in March of 2017...a Poochon. He just celebrated his first birthday on 01/02/18 and we are happy with our puppy. He is a total momma's boy. I found this place by searching online. The website is about 3 out 5. Pictures on the puppies are great and updated regularly. My family and I have been looking for a puppy for a while, so we decided to check this place out. it was about a 45 minute drive for us. The puppies were all caged separately, (except for brother/sister puppies) and cages were clean and all puppies had plenty of food and water. We decided on a Morkie and the owner let us play with the puppy after we all washed our hands. The owner was very friendly and answered all our questions. They accept credit card or cash only. Puppies are given vaccines as needed as well. We were advised to take the puppy to a vet for a general check and our puppy was given a clean bill of health. He is full of life and a perfect new little family member. If your interested in small breeds that aren't crazy expensive like Petland then this is the place for you! read more

I got my Yorkie from here. All the workers were extremely friendly. They have reasonable prices. They have ppwork for the shots, and if the dog needs shots before it leaves, they have someone there that will administer the shots. overall I was pretty pleased. read more
