There are many things I love about Dr. Tara and the care she provides. She is truly amazing at what she does. She knows exactly where to focus her work on my body to create the best outcomes, lower pain and put my body back in functioning condition over the course of treatment sessions. She takes her time with patients and does a lot of soft tissue work, not just a fast "adjust, adjust" and you're done. During and after her treatments, I feel like I've been through a massage for my body and my spirit :) She's incredible at reading my body, seeing what the problem areas are even before I tell her, as well as reading my emotional state and providing guidance and comfort to treat that as well, as our emotional states often have a significant impact on our physical states. She not only councils me on mechanical issues in my body, but many other health areas as well. Hormone levels, blood sugar levels, mental state, work and relationship stressors, and more, and provides expert insight and comforting advice to helping those areas, too. Getting older, these things tend to happen, but after a week of little to no improvement, I thought I would try something different, something I'd been meaning to try for years: acupuncture. I had heard good things about Palmgren Acupuncture, so I made an appointment. I am absolutely glad I did. Lynn is a skilled practitioner, but she is also an amazing listener who takes the time to evaluate your situation, injury, and needs, and explains thoroughly what plan of treatment she recommends. After a few sessions, I was sleeping through the night and back on the Peloton. I believe my strain, which could've taken weeks to heal, was noticeably better in a remarkably shortened period because of Lynn's treatment. I also, recently, had my first massage ever at Palmgren and Angelique, like Lynn, is not only very skilled, but is also someone who listens, evaluates, and does a great job explaining their methods and recommendations. As with the acupuncture, the massage left me feeling much better and significantly reduced my back pain. All in all, I could not be happier with my experience at Palmgren and I highly recommend their services.
