New Business Alert In Forest Park
Maronda H.

A new business that has opened up in Forest Park. I was excited to be one of the first to step inside for a complimentary Heal Experience. The red light, cold plunge, sauna and the toxin rinse shower. And I also attended the ribbon cut ceremony. The owners and staff are amazing. Welcoming hospitality. Comfortable seating area. Clean Private rooms. My first experience was the absolute best. Health is very important and this is the place to get start on your journey. Private room area, with a shower, sauna room, calming audio and a plunge tub. My first experience left me energetic, glowing and feeling peaceful.

I've had 5 sessions so far for the Infrared + Cold Plunge combo at HEAL in Forest Park and I would do this every day if I could. Beautiful facility with such an enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. Private room with chill music you can control, private shower with hair/body wash provided, nice big comfy towel, timer on the wall so you can be sure to not over-do the heat or the cold. The saunas are not the wet steamy kind that I find taxing to tolerate, but actually very soothing, quiet, and comfortable! I typically start off with just 145 degree heat and work up towards 165 degrees, but my kid enjoyed going right up to 175 degrees. Bring your water bottle to stay hydrated. The pool is in the 50's, so very cold, but not icy. Super clean. The whole place is very, very clean. The housekeeping staff is amazing and thorough!! As soon as I exit my room there is a team to clean it so it's ready for the next guest. Please consider bringing $5 to tip the housekeeping team on your visits. Totally not required, but a nice gesture as they are working hard and so nice. Everything smells fresh and neutral, no weird scents anywhere. There is a space to dry your hair afterwards so you can leave looking all put together after this unique 60-minute workout/meditation/reset. You can buy a bottle of water if you forget to bring one. There is also a retail section. I bought a 4x/month membership which was surprisingly reasonable! I think the visits work out to about $35 a visit, which is perfect. I believe the non-member drop in rate is $49, as I bought one for my kid so he could experience it. I love being able to use the online app to book a last minute session if my schedule allows, and I get a member discount on drop ins. Free parking in the lot is awesome too, no worries about metered street parking. I'm so happy HEAL has opened in Forest Park!! It has been so helpful for my chronic pain. I'm very grateful. Thank you!!!!

Upstairs they have the Meditation rooms . Those rooms are the Oxygenated room and an infra red room. On the first floor they have a theater room, a salt room, a gold room, a sun room, a charcoal room, other rooms and a cafeteria area. You can also pay for a massage. Most of the massages were 60 minutes for 120$. I will definitely go back and take my husband there on a date. Love it!

When we went on a weekday night, it wasn't crowded, so it was good. The rooms are interesting and generally relaxing. The spa services are expensive. Like the foot reflexology is more than double the places I've been. My friend did really enjoy her scrub, so if you get a service, they are good. Look, I think it's important to pay people a good wage and I value spa services, but these just seemed high.

I have been a frequent patron of this spot for over fifteen years. For most of that time , I would…read morehave described this banya as heaven on earth. However, new ownership seems intent on slowly ruining this treasured institution. When I heard that the owner of Red Square had taken the Sweatlodge over, I braced myself. I no longer patronize that place due to experiencing a rapid decline in the quality of service and facilities. It turns out my apprehension was valid. In short order, Sweatlodge started going downhill ... - The satellite radio was the first to go. No more chill blues or jazz, but a local radio station that plays obnoxious commercials half of the time. - The wood in the saunas was replaced with much cheaper material. No more pleasant smell of cedar when you walk in. Also, there are exposed screw heads throughout the benches of the dry sauna, which have burnt me numerous times. - The zero gravity chairs that were perfect for a nap have been replaced with uncomfortable wooden chairs. Word is that the owner grew tired of fixing them. But somehow this wasn't an issue for the nearly 20 years they had previously been there. - The ice machine was taken out, and the water tank replaced with a fountain that is often lukewarm. - The sand filtering in the cold plunge was replaced with chlorine. The pool is often much warmer than it should be, especially in warm months. - The food portions are much smaller while meals grow more expensive. For example, I got the chicken soup most of my visits for a decade and a half. It was the best in the city. Now, it is a medium bowl of thin broth. featuring an anemic chicken leg and thigh with a few slices of carrot and potato thrown in - for $17. It was previously served with a small, fresh baked loaf of bread. Not anymore. - The cafe hours have been limited to save on payroll. It doesn't open until well into the afternoon. - Last time I was there, a sign proclaimed that you could request only one extra towel. (This was a classic Red Square tactic. Nickel and dime bullshit.) - 10% service charge added to all services. - One of the TVs had disappeared from the wall last time I visited. All of this while the admission price steadily climbs. I have still visited, but much less often than I used to. An unpleasant surprise has awaited me every time. I will probably pop in once in a while, as the heat is still good, and the plunge still satisfies (when it is cold). The staff is friendly and competent. This is the only reason for my second star. However, I am sure it won't be long before the penny pinching results in an underwhelming experience I refuse to pay for. Many men have been patronizing this joint for even longer than I have, but I would would imagine that they have their limits and will begin to drop off as well if this continues. Really disappointing and a true shame that new owner is ruining this magical place.

The service is great, pricing is very fair and the ambiance is extremely relaxing. The only minor complaint is that it could be remodeled a little bit as the facilities are starting to show their age. It's always like having a vacation at the Sweat Lodge

The staff immediately greeted me with genuine hospitality and made sure I felt comfortable and informed about everything before starting. You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in what they do. The facility itself is extremely clean, modern, and well maintained. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, which makes it easy to relax the second you walk through the door. Everything looks high-quality and organized, and it's obvious they put a lot of effort into creating a premium experience. The cryotherapy session was amazing. It was my first time trying it, and the staff explained the whole process clearly so I knew exactly what to expect. The equipment looked top tier and the whole experience felt safe and professionally handled. Afterward I genuinely felt refreshed, energized, and like my body had hit a reset button. What really stood out to me though was the level of customer service. The team here goes above and beyond to make sure every person has a great experience. They answered all my questions, took their time with me, and made the whole visit feel personalized rather than rushed. If you're thinking about trying cryotherapy or a float spa, I would 100% recommend this place. It's a hidden gem in the area and easily one of the best wellness experiences I've had. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends.

I looked at the prices and they were a little higher than other places I found. When I looked at the reviews, I could see why. Vive appeared to know what they were doing. I made my appointment online. Easy peasy. I get a phone call the next day. Oh no, are they going to reschedule me? No indeed. They were asking me about the medications I was on, my medical history and what I was looking for in a massage. I was impressed. Never have any of my massage companies asked me all this information. My massage was today and I went in. Nice looking office and waiting area. They have a parking lot. Place was clean, personable ladies at the desk. They took me to a separate waiting area that was dim and relaxing. I filled out a form with all my information. Orion came out and brought me in. I would say she sat with me a good 10 minutes, discussing my history and asking questions. Then she asked again about what pressure I wanted. She was very vocal about telling me if the pressure is too hard to be sure to let her know. What I experienced was wonderful. She had a nice firm touch and seemed to take a lot of time doing what she needed to do. By the time I was done, I was really relaxed. Since this was my first time with Vive I only purchased one session. I intend to purchase a package and return often. It was nice to get a senior discount.
