The HCG Diet requires a daily injection, which you give to yourself, and a detailed protocol to follow for a very strict low-calorie diet. I will say, with the very low-calorie diet, you will need to be prepared to be in a dedicated mindset to be successful. Do your research before you commit yourself to the 21-40 days of the diet, then maintenance phase, but man let me tell you it's so worth it, and I feel AMAZING! The six weeks just flew by too which made it that much better and I'm so glad I did it. I feel lighter, healthier and overall like a new person. And let me tell you, Patti (the owner) is a truly amazing woman. Super laid back and extremely encouraging! Some personal tips from my experience with the HCG Diet: Injections: If you're nervous to give yourself an injection, don't be! I was terrified to give myself the shots at home, but after I did the first one on my own, it was a relief how easy it was. You just pinch a part of your belly fat and pop it on in. The needle is so tiny that you barley feel it go in, and the syringe is so small you don't feel anything go in. Low-Calorie Diet: MINDSET IS KEY! This is a VERY strict diet, and aside from the injections, plays the biggest role in your weight loss success. Depending on how much you want to lose, you will be on this strict diet for a minimum of 21 days, or 40 days max if you have over 30 pounds to lose. I recommend doing your research first on the HCG Diet. I'd recommend Googling "The HCG Chica" to watch her step-by-step journey, as she explains in full detail the phases you'll go through, the VLCD (Very low-calorie diet), what foods you will be restricted to, and more. The HCG injections WILL help curb your appetite, but I personally went a little further and had Phentermine prescribed to me as well to suppress my appetite further. If you follow the diet protocol perfectly, there's no doubt you will be successful! And to drop a pound a day is very exciting to look forward to every morning! Don't be nervous. I'm 34, 5'11" and was 205, now 173! For my height, that definitely made a huge difference in my appearance and how I feel mentally and health-wise. Rather than focusing on the procedure, Miss Hart steered the conversation into my religious beliefs and political views--completely unsolicited and entirely out of place. I was questioned, judged, and ultimately told that she couldn't understand how someone could be both a Democrat and a Christian. This wasn't a passing comment--it was repeated and pressed upon me throughout the appointment, making it feel more like an interrogation than a service. To make matters worse, I received a follow-up text from her the next day that read: "Well, you said you weren't a Democrat so I don't see why you were offended by me saying that I can't understand how a Democrat can be a Christian. You're an independent so that doesn't put you in that category." She then accused me of lying and intentionally deceiving her because I didn't inform her I wouldn't be returning. That level of entitlement--expecting a client to justify why they won't return after such an inappropriate experience--is astonishing. Personal beliefs have no place in a professional setting unless the client brings them up, and even then, it should be handled with respect. What happened during and after this appointment crossed every boundary of professionalism and decency. If you're considering this provider, ask yourself whether you're comfortable having your beliefs questioned and judged while sitting in the chair. For me, this was a one-and-done experience--and not for the reasons I expected.

I am a only child and have been her POA for 10 years now, I carry her paperwork to all her new doctor locations as needed. Yesterday the woman at the front desk that sits on the left side was one of the worst human beings I have ever had to deal with when it comes to mother. First she tried to tell me my POA paperwork was NOT correct and they refused to scan it in. ( she was incorrect i dod verify it was correct ) moving on she made my mother get up and walk to the desk and of coarse mother asked her why she was treating us this way that of all her doctors, surgeries ect ,no one had ever refused the paperwork. Of coarse the the woman tried to still argue and I just asked mother to go sit down and we would worry about it later. She gave me paperwork to fill out and tried to get me to pay a $25.00 copay . I let her know mother does not have co pays and gave her all mothers insurance info. I went to sit down to fill the paperwork out and before I finished she called me back up to the front desk and advised they could not see mother that she had Medicare/Medicaid of Ga ! Mother also has BCBS of TN. Again at no other doctor office or hospital has ANYONE ever refused to see mother! Need to add in this person had no emotions no empathy no facial expressions, it was like she was dead inside. Zero customer service. This location is where she was referred to and they refused her! There is a reason why this appt was made so quickly due to the size of the nodule and to get a biopsy scheduled. I understand everyone has things going on in their lives that can make them act the way this woman did but at no time is this acceptable .. come on my mother may be walking around with cancer again and she dismissed her and did NOT give a damn! Do NOT take one of your loved ones to this location unless you want this type of customer service and your loved on to be refused treatment!
