Dr Spradlin has been our primary medical provider for over 3 years. If you can set aside your pride…read moreand recognize that you don't know what you just don't know you will learn life changing things. If you can follow Doc's program and put the work in you WILL see results. You cannot bring a traditional medical mindset into this practice. You won't fit and you won't like what you get. However, if you're fed up with the medical system and you're serious about pursuing your healing you'll love this place! Doc S truly loves people but he doesn't desire to waste his time, energy, or resources on patients who will be difficult or non-compliant. It is not your right to be a patient at DDNH. It is a privilege! If you are ready for serious coaching and get well boot camp then welcome to the family. If you want to be coddled then go elsewhere. As for my personal experience I came to DDNH after seeking help from specialists for years for chronic migraine and a painful unyielding autoimmune disease. The migraines went from 24/7 to 2 in week one of treatment and zero in week two. The autoimmune symptoms went from 9 on a scale of 1-10 to less than 1. I expect to be fully healed soon whereas medical specialists previously told me the disease was progressive and without a cure. My entire family has benefited from this practice. My eldest daughter was cured of chronic fatigue and brain fog. My eldest son was healed of recurring back problems. My youngest son was cured of GERD. My youngest daughter's allergies disappeared. My husband's life-long neck problems are significantly better, he is sleeping better and has energy. Our Great Pyrenees was healed of a torn CCL (avoiding a $5000 surgery). My family is off all prescription drugs and we rarely get sick anymore because of our robust immune systems. When we do we bring all medical concerns small or acute to Doc S - there doesn't seem to be anything he can't handle from jobsite injuries, torn tendons, food poisoning, and covid to sick pets. In closing, Dr Spradlin is a serious medical professional and a legitimate healer! His office manager wife is a delight as is his staff. So if I were you, I wouldn't listen to the negative reviews that would attempt to derail your miracle. Put your big boy pants on and go get your healing!!!

Scam, claim to be Christians but if you don't fully "comply" with their regimen or question any of…read moretheir recommendations, they will react very negatively. They claim to have 100s of testimonials of how their protocol helps, claim No One has ever had a bad experience (read the other negative reviews and you will see the pattern). Worst experience with a naturopath/ chiropractor I have ever had. Expensive, arrogant, pushy. Don't fall for their scam.

I have been a member for 15 years. This place is the best. I love the cleanliness of the equipment,…read more and the friendly staff. There is something for everyone from rehab to strength training. There is always someone available if you have a question about how to use a machine or proper way to do a move. If you get in a rut I recommend jumping into one or more of the classes that are part of your membership. We all need a little push sometime and after the burn of a good class I feel the drive that has kept me strong all these years. Keep up the good work. And a BIG THANK YOU to each and everyone of you in the staff!

Literally a fine gym. But the staff is so rude and disrespectful, I went in today like I have been…read morefor the last 8 months and got told I couldn't use my mom's card to scan in. Expensive membership to have no sort of guest pass. I kindly asked her what I can do to get added on to my mom's card, she then replied that I didn't look like the women that was the cardholder..... my mother..... I understand staff does not control policy but I was trying to resolve the situation so maybe I can get back to my workout. She only mentioned a guest pass to me after I seemed upset with how she was speaking to me but even then she prestened the offer with enough attitude to knock me out. She seemed more worried about getting me out of the gym than resolving my issue. I'll make sure to go to literally any other gym in dalton it'll be half priced and you can bring in a guest and the staff probably won't spit in your face!

I started to see Dr. Norris about a week ago. I came in with symptoms of perimenopause, elevated…read moreblood pressure, hyperthyroidism and Graves' disease. I wasn't sleeping well and having hot flashes. During our consultation we had the BEST conversation about my symptoms, diagnosis, food, and lifestyle. For the first time I actually felt heard from someone who was willing to treat me without a prescription to mask the symptoms but get to the root cause of my problems. Once we finished talking about what steps we would take I had my first acupuncture treatment. I felt relaxed for the first time in a long time. I went home with 2 supplements to start treating my hot flashes and to help me sleep. I started adding Redmond salt to my water and adding electrolytes into my diet daily. I was amazed at how well I felt 4 days in just from that small change and the supplements decreased my hot flashes ten fold and I'm sleeping better than I have in over a year. I thought I was doing everything right, drinking only water and eating low carb, no sugar and fasting only to find out I wasn't eating or drinking for my body and blood type. At my second appointment we agreed to start tackling my thyroid and Graves' disease. Under his care I have no doubt I will be off my methimazole completely by fall, if not sooner. Dr. Norris took the time and continues to take the time to guide me on this journey of healing my body and educating me. I have never been happier with any other health care professional as I have been with Dr. Norris. He has completely changed my life for the better and I cannot thank him enough for what he has done for me. Mrs. Bonnie is also amazing! They make the perfect team!!

Let me begin by saying that Michael Norris, owner and acupuncture practitioner of Deep River…read moreWellness Center is the REAL DEAL. Here's my story and why I make this claim. Two years ago, I developed hemifacial spasms. The twitching was so debilitating, I was unable to read for more than a few minutes before the spasming was out of control. I was miserable and didn't know what else to do. My doctor ordered an MRI which resulted in a referral to a neurologist and a neurosurgeon who discussed brain surgery -- it was that serious. I opted instead to take medication to try to control the spasms and was subjected to some pretty strong drugs. Some of these drugs resulted in night terrors, tremors and disorientation. None of these drugs were able to completely control the spasming. I was also injected with Botox which did nothing except to droop my face so it looked like I had a stroke. I am from California and had a top notch acupuncture practitioner there, but when I moved to Knoxville, I had difficulty finding one who knew what s/he was doing. That is until I came upon Michael Norris from Deep River Wellness Center. I began bi-weekly treatments on 6/13/19 and within two months, the spasms were completely gone. I have even cut my medication in half and hope to be completely rid of the medications soon. Michael has given me hope and relief which is worth so much to me. I got back my ability to read, function and begin to live life more fully. It's natural for folks brought up in western cultures to be reluctant to try naturopathic approaches to health. I was reluctant when I had my first treatment in California more than 20 years ago, but after my first treatment, there was no question as to the value of this approach to wholeness, physical health and emotional well-being. So go ahead and give Michael a try -- you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
