He Left us in the exam room and went to front desk. We came on but he was gone had vanished. And left the info sheet with the clerk. It took my husband and I just a second to gather my purse and walk to from by and he had left us. The receptionist area had two cubicles. The first one was unoccupied because she was assisting with front counter but returning to her area when she could. We were waiting on her. We did see the second cube until my husband walked to see about help. Lee never said first or second etc. he literally walked out of our exam room without saying goodbye , thank you for your business Nothing. My husband walked around to second cubicle area and found an attendant. We then Checked out. Very poor customer service. He was very rude and obviously irritated. The staff are caring and thorough in guiding you through the building, explaining their billing policies and procedures along with your treatment options. The doctors are caring, and thorough in explaining their diagnoses and their recommended treatment options. Years after my cataract implants, I developed "secondary cataracts" which is not an unusual nor unexpected occurrence, as I had been counseled at SEES at the time of my cataract surgery that this might well happen. I now live 600 miles from Chattanooga, but having complete confidence in Dr. Bierly and SEES, I decided to return to have him perform the 2 minute laser procedure. Being the expert that he is, Dr. Bierly does not perform this, or most other surgeries or treatments, on both eyes on the same day. As expected, this treatment (YAG capsulotomy) went quite well, and I plan to return to SEES to have the same procedure done on my other eye.

His statements were unkind such as "yeah you have a very lazy eye" "I don't see prescriptions like this often" and then said something to the tech about hyperopia and walked out of the room. He didn't introduce himself. He didn't ask if I had any questions. He didn't explain my prescription to me. He exchanged maybe 20 words total with me. They have coffee, water, candy and flat screens with HGTV. It's never hot or stuffy. Front desk staff keeps us laughing. I wouldn't go anywhere else. On a personal side note-i was working a great job when I came in EMERGENCY. It was then I learned I would not drive or work and was going blind. My whole world changed. I lost my job and insurance. Dr G said my eyes were more important than money and they would work with me. His bedside manor is unlike any other.

I said don't know why check my eyeglasses it's the same prescription you wrote me last year. So she dilated my eyes. When I asked why they didn't check my vision, they said I chose not to. No I didn't. That's the whole reason I came here was to have my vision checked. Now I have to miss work again to come in for their mistake to get my eyes checked for my yearly exam.. I Can See!!! After…read moredecades of wearing glasses and my old man eyes finally getting to the point of being absolutely done with buying glasses every year I decided to do something about it. I haven't known many people who have had eye surgery and I was slightly hesitant since they are my eyes after all. After reading the countless google reviews for Dr. Woolfson praising his work and the experience overall I decided it was time. I met first with Dr. Burns and some assistants and everyone was friendly and professional. I was super excited to get scheduled for a week or two later! Day of surgery I showed up with my eye drops and only a tiny bit of anxiety because again it's my eyes after all. The procedure really is only a couple minutes long. You don't really feel much other than a slight pressure and you see a bunch of lights. Once it's done it's hard to imagine why I waited so long to get it done! Tips: go home to a dark relaxing place so try all your eye drops right after surgery. An hour or so later your eyes want to rest and a nap is good. Eye drops are more important than you can imagine! After surgery you can already read! I haven't been able to read without glasses in decades! A week later you cannot believe you can read with no glasses, but distance is weird. A month later distance is now getting better and better. My eyes are so much better it's amazing. I mean literally amazing and such a change for my life! I definitely recommend seeing Dr. Woolfson and his associates!

I will say the procedure day was longer than I anticipated, but they even found me snacks to eat while I was still waiting. Dr. Woolfson was friendly and I was very impressed with the handwritten note I received after my procedure. Also I was planning on getting PRK before the day of the procedure and had already picked up my eye drop prescriptions for that procedure. Since that changed they saved me another trip to the pharmacy and gave me the other drops I needed. Definitely would recommend if you're tired of wearing glasses or contacts and want a great place to do it!!

During this time, HFM has managed most of my FMLA and disability paperwork. My condition worsened and it got harder to walk. I ended up injuring myself and went to my most recent appointment on crutches. For reasons I will never understand, HFM decided to drop the case at this point and stopped returning my phone calls. Without notifying me, they faxed the paperwork my employer completely blank, with a note saying that they couldn't find a medical reason for my disability, and that my employer would have to make do with whatever they had on file already. I found out about this 3 days after the deadline has passed. Fortunately, my caseworker is being patient with me, and she automatically extended the deadline for another seven days. But until I find a real doctor, I'll have no income, no treatment, and no information about my long-term outlook. It's getting harder and harder to do simple tasks, and I don't really know what comes next.
