Towed my son's car in under 1 hour at 3PM on a Saturday when the lot was mostly empty…read more The lot services multiple businesses including Overtime Tavern where he and his friends planned to go after he walked to their nearby apartment to get them (Overtime lost out on the business from my son's group because of this, they are now boycotting all the establishments in this lot). When he came back the car was gone. When he called A&B, 'Chris' who refused to give his last name, said Overtime called for the tow. We verified that they did not. Then they said it was the Property Manager but there's no way to know where my son had gone, he could have been in any of the businesses, so why would they call? Chris couldn't provide a name or number of who actually contacted A&B, and his story kept changing. Chris would ONLY take cash, did not want to provide a receipt but eventually grudgingly did when we were adamant. $250 tow plus $50 release fee because it was on a Saturday. This looks like a scam and the property manager could potentially receive kickbacks because there are no laws protecting against predatory towing in NC. Stay away from this unscrupulous appearing Towing and Auto Repair business if you don't want to risk being taken advantage of like this. And I would suggest avoiding all the businesses in this lot at 1011 Charles Boulevard unless they stop having cars towed in a predatory manner.

Did not complete…read morethe job that was paid for AND told me I needed a catalytic converter which was very costly to replace. Took the car to another business and found out it was just st a gas cap that needed to be replaced. Would not trust the assessment of what's wrong. I used this mechanic several times always costly repairs. Glad I stopped using him.
