My husband and I LOVED the show. It was one of the best things from our Vegas trip. The dancers were awesome, very athletic and talented. They had some moves I couldn't imagine attempting.The comstumes were great. The comedian Nancy was hilarious and had me laughing my ass off. I would love to see a show of just her. The only bad thing is the seating. I guess it is good that every seat is so close. But we were up against a wall. Some comfier chairs and a little more leg and elbow room would be nice. read more

This is going to be tough to do...i'm a normal guy that loves women especially women dancing around in their underwear on stage. Seriously how can you guys screw this show up? It is reallllly bad. I was expecting so much more. The choreography and music was awful...basically the girls change outfits and dance on poles. I felt like I was in a strip club. The worst part was although the girls looked good they were incredibly snotty and unfriendly looking. It wouldn't hurt them to smile would it? The room is very tiny and everyone is crammed. The comedian that took the stage during intermission is the reason I'm adding a second star to my rating. She was hilarious! If I was just reviewing the show I would be giving it five stars. It is very entertaining and all the girls are very talented. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed it. Plus the relief comedian, Nancy was great! The venue is what brings it down to only 4 stars. The usher just pointed to a row of chairs which aren't labeled at all. I don't even know I got the seat I paid for. Also, just buy VIP seats. You'll get to be center stage, not stuck in a corner like we were. The chairs were uncomfortable and very close together. I had been to one of the burlesque shows on the strip before, Crazy Girls at the Riviera about four years ago, and it was rather disappointing. The girls were pretty cute, but the dancing routines didn't knock me out and the act in the middle while the dancers set up for the last half of the show was some weird foreign guy doing bad magic/comedy. This most recent trip to Vegas, however, I went to see X Burlesque at the Flamingo, and this time it was much better. The girls are really sexy, and the dance routines were outstanding. The comedian in the middle break, Nancy Ryan, wasn't exactly of a Wanda Sykes talent level, but she wasn't bad. X Burlesque was great. It really turned me on! I've got a crush on a few of the girls, Kim and Meeka, that won't go away anytime soon. I don't get to Vegas often, but I will see this show again if I get the chance. read more

If you're looking for a strip club experience, a Vegas topless show is not where it's at. If you're looking for some tempting entertainment, then a topless show could be the right choice. X Burlesque is a modern take on American Burlesque. It's 6 girls playing out your fantasies through choreographed dances, fun music and it's all done in sexy outfits and often naked. Some dances are entertaining with girls dress as cowgirls or sensual like a bathtub scene with 2 girls. There is a little bit of pole dancing, and there's a lot of dancing on the stage. The middle of the show has a comedian but they rotate between 3 comedians. The one I saw was hilarious even if it only lasted about 10 minutes. Do I recommend this show? I recommend it if you're looking for something topless without being a stripclub. There's no hardcore sexuality, it's really burlesque tempting. Attended this show a few weeks ago with my husband. To call it burlesque (x or not) is a stretch. Had I not gone in expecting a sexy variety type show, high spirited, drama, parody... maybe I would not have been disappointed. Nah, who am I kidding. The show was substandard. The seating was poorly arranged and uncomfortable. The show called for a 2 drink minimum, but our waitress did not arrive until the last 15 minutes of the show. I went to this with my wife on a Tuesday night in January 2014. There were several other couples in the audience. I had the Mile High seat (which I definitely recommend to any guy who isn't afraid to go on stage and have a little fun) and my wife was next to me in the Pink seat section. This show features a variety of music and scenarios that explore nearly all the fantasies a man could imagine, so there is something for everyone. The girls are very beautiful and talented. This was our second time seeing the show, but our first time in the VIP section. It is a small venue, so if you can't fork over the dough for the VIP seats, you won't be disappointed as you will still have a good vantage point. If you can go VIP, DO IT! These girls make there way out to a pole in the audience and to do so, they are in your face. Half way through the show a comedian (our night it was Nancy) comes out. She was hilarious, and her act relied heavily on improv from interacting with the audience. Looking forward to seeing this show again next year. read more

Utter rubbish. Far from burlesque. It's poor choreography with an even worse execution. It's less burlesque and more like a poorly timed strip show. Burlesque shows do not include a stripper pole nor do they include nipples. Don't get me wrong, I love the boobs but this show is so far from burlesque. We paid for the VIP tickets which you can get online for a good price. I'm a curvy, full figure girl, my date wasnt small either and the seating was not cramped at all so I'm not sure what all of these other folks are talking about. The theater is small so you get a very up close and personal show. That was a definite plus in my book. The women were talented, entertaining, and sexy, but the show was not traditional burlesque. I see some reviews complaining about that, but I thought it was more contemporary and fun, while still being sexy, classy, and tasteful. It DID NOT feel like I was in a strip club. The way they accomplished the wardrobe and set changes was incredible and surprising. The best part of the show to me was the women look like they are having fun and love what they do. They were very engaging to each other and the audience. One guy from the audience got the show of his life which was very entertaining. Whomever picks the musical selections for the show did a great job because the songs were the best of the best of every genre you could think of. The comedienne Nancy Ryan was hysterical and we enjoyed that part too. I would highly recommend this show to others and I had a great time! They tell you to be there 45 minutes before hand but we didn't even take a seat till about 20 minutes till. The drinks during the show weren't too expensive about 7 bucks for an imported beer. Like Danni, I've seen this show a number of times myself, I usually take my guy friends that come into town and want a little excitement without the strip club. This show is really energetic, fun and the girls are all very beautiful. They are all shapes and (boob) sizes and are sure to please every man's (or woman's) taste! The musical score truly rocks. I've seen other burlesque shows that drag on and on but this one keeps moving! As far as the comedian Pudgy, she did pass away and was replaced by Nancy Ryan who is a hysterical comedian. She comes out midway during the show and rips on the audience and does some material too. But she is fast and totally funny. She never disappoints and I've seen her many, many times! My favorite dancer is Melania but all of them are so good it's really hard to pick! See this show and have a great time while you're there. read more

Took my hubby to this for his birthday. I thought I'd be the only girl there and sitting there bored. I was totally wrong. There seemed to be as many women as men in the audience and I found out why. This is just plain sexy! The numbers flow good and the music is a great mix. The girls in the show were having fun. Some of the best numbers were "Pink" where a girl walks out of a movie screen to dance in the audience. "Chica caliente" was really erotic. And you could have heard a pin drop during "Sweet & Innocent" where 2 girls romp in a bathtub. The comedian was awesome. Nancy Ryan had the whole crowd laughing from start to finish. I think she got more applause than the girls did at the end. All in all the seating is great. The girls are absolutely beautiful. The dancing is good and it's well worth the price of admission. To say this show was a disappointment is an understatement. My husband and I saved this show for our last night in Vegas because of how much they talked it up and boy was that a mistake! We weren't expecting some amazing production but we were expecting something better than what I could have put on when I was 18 yo. There was not one choreographed routine that was in sync, the different scenes were so corny, and the pole-routines were a hot mess. Not only did it not get my husband and I all "fired up", it did the complete opposite. We (and multiple couples around us) found ourselves laughing at how ridiculous this show was all throughout. From extremelyyyyy loud music to a horrible looping promo video for the 30 minutes prior to the show, we have no idea how this show has been on for so long. And I want to be clear, it's not about the girl's physical appearance. Yes, some were much more physically appealing and talented. But it was the entire show. First of all, I have to say this review is not about the dancers of the show. If it's not for these girls this review would be even lower. All of the dancers are beautiful, talented and working very hard. I would give them 5 stars anytime. The down side of this show is: not organized. The seats are tide and very uncomfortable, the music are old and random, the audio system are not very nice either. There's no introduction for each theme or dancer or anything in between, the background videos are cheaply made. I wish there was more interaction with the audience too. Overall, it's a very mess show with bunch beautiful girls. If there's anything can improve this show to be able to compete with others is getting a better director. My wife and I went there for a friends birthday so at first we were excitedly see a new show. Now I should say, being a man, half naked women and breasts excite me. But this show is just a very fancy strip show. Not what I was expecting at all. The dancers were out of sync and were not even pretty to me. Their breasts alone are about the size of mosquito bites. General admission is $70 for the show. There was one good part of the show. During intermission they have a comedian and she was absolutely hilarious. Now I understand that it may take a lot for someone to get on a stage and dance if front of strangers half naked. But nothing about the show was exciting or sexy. I was literally yawning and falling asleep during the "show". Do not waste your money on this show. You would be better off going to a legitimate strip/gentlemen's club. This isn't burlesque. There is no tease, no anticipation, no comedy, no audience interaction. I paid $78 to see this show and sat on a folding chair. I actually felt reallyl bad for the dancers because they are so talented and have technique - but I was expecting there to be MORE than just coming out titty out - and bam. That's all there was act after act. It was all the same. Even the stage / setting - it looked cheap, and a video played in between some numbers. My guest and I left half way through the show. i'm not sure how this has been playing this long at the Flamingo. Like I said, the dancers were very talented but the story line and the choreography didn't lend them to truly perform "burlesque." it was just a topless show that you could probably see somewhere cheaper and get more out of it. This show is dull and boring, and would only be exciting to a young teenage boy who had never seen a topless woman before. Some of the girls are attractive enough, but the show is boring and the dancing is actually bad. There were people walking out left and right. The music is REALLY loud too. As other reviewers have mentioned, the seating is just weird; you have to turn your head and try to see the stage between people. I really had to struggle to see part of the stage by bending my neck and peering around people. Nancy was the comedian and she threw the F bomb about every 3 words or so. She tried to be funny but was only funny half the time and the other half was painful. I had so wanted to see a burlesque show and this was definitely NOT that. Like many others have said, the show was just a bunch of topless girls trying to dance. Oh yeah, and that bathtub sketch that has been mentioned several times here was just the lights turning off while the girls repositioned themselves and then back on briefly, then off so the girls could move, then back on, etc. Made no sense to anybody I talked to after the show. I talked with several people after the show and it was universally agreed on that this show is not worth the time, effort to see it, or the money for the tickets. The best show in Vegas is Le Reve. Now, THAT one was worth every penny. Very well done classic Burlesque with a modern music and some modern touches. There is a small second stage in the middle of the audience where girls spin and do numbers. The girls are top notch and as hot if not hotter than the best strippers I've seen in Las Vegas. Choreography and scene transitions were very well done (yes, I'm an old show guy) with the girls hitting their marks well. The mid-show comedian did a good job to give a girls a rest before the second half of the show. The only criticism is there was no cocktail waitress taking drink orders before the show. The Flamingo Hotel needs to seriously step up their line control. I paid extra for VIP seats thinking I would get in early, but there were general ticket holders ahead of me and I ended up getting cut by other VIP ticket holders whom had arrived a good amount after me. They say the seating starts 45 mins early, but they started 30 mins late. The seating is not first come, first serve..its first come, and they make you sit where they want you...demand you choose you're own seat and they will oblige. The actual show on the other hand was good mixed in with a pretty funny comedian halfway through the show. Some reviewers said the girls aren't the bustiest ever, but they are dancers..that's how they're built. These aren't strippers, folks, so if that's what you're looking for go to Sapphire. The dancing wasn't the greatest, not always in sync with one another. All in all it was a good show, but I regret buying VIP seats. read more

I was in vacation in Las Vegas for my birthday, and I knew I wanted to see a modern burlesque show. I bought my tickets in advance at halfpriceshows.com so my tickets were around $40 each for VIP seats. I wanted me and my boyfriend to sit up front, and I heard the seating wasn't a theater setting, so I wanted to be sure seeing the stage was not a problem. They are slow letting people in, with VIP, you get in a separate line in the front. So that was cool. The seating was compact, but with VIP or a higher priced ticket, you get a table in the front , or a booth in the back. I felt bad for those who had general admission, they were seated in the corner, right behind people, or had no table. So I recommend going to a discount site and get VIP or above seating to ensure you can see it all. Me and my boyfriend loved the show. The girls had their own beautiful look, nice shape, not all perfect looking. Some had curves, some were slender, all kinds of different breast sizes, not all implants. The routines were cute, and sexy, they played different types of music from hip hop/pop/rock/country. Wasn't corny. I'm a professional dancer myself so it wasn't top notch choreography, but still, the routines were fun, professionally done. Some dancers had more skill than others, but all the same, sexy topless women bending over and shaking it was all the while exciting. They had pole dancing, chair dancing, solos, lap dances, and a rope dance that had me wanting to take some lessons for! The crowd that night was stiff as hell. All the men had their arms crossed and the women were blank and uncomfortable. When they offered volunteers to give lap dance to audience members, some refused! It seemed like me and a few other people were the only ones cheering and clapping for the dancers! They do more with encouragement, and besides, Beautiful topless women are supposed to excite you! So I don't know what happened. If you're looking for a stiff Showgirls/Can Can girls type of show, this isn't the one. X Burlesque brings an element of natural sexiness and skilled dancing to allow for a more hip and edgy appeal to exotic dancing. From the moment the show starts until the moment it's over you're constantly presented with everything you'd hope for in a Las Vegas style show.
