They just send a letter expecting you to get it. Here's where it all started. After the State Farm agent here passed away no one contacted me to let me know that he had passed away and they would be moving my insurance over to another agent in a different city. The only way I found out about it was I just so happened to go in one day to add coverage on another car that I had and I was able to stop them from transferring my information to another agent. They actually weren't even able to pull up my information on my current vehicle because it was already in the process of being transferred to another agent. Again thank you for the lack of communication, awful!!! After getting coverage on my other car, which is an antique car, they dropped my coverage a few weeks later and didn't even bother to call me to let me know. I only found out because I found a letter in the mail two days before the cutoff date. Again thank you for your lack of communication. I wonder what would've happened if I hadn't of found that letter and I would've been involved in an accident. So as you can see, the biggest problem with this location and this company is the LACK OF COMMUNICATION! Thank you for wasting my time and thank you for losing my business. They are very helpful and when I have had claims, they were very pro active. The last two claims I had were on my home for hail damage and my 5th Wheel roof for tear in the roof. There claims group were quick to get an adjuster to my house and RV and the money was received within days after the adjuster made the claim. As for customer service, all I have to do it give them a call or email about an issue and they communicate there actions and perform the work without a hitch. Highly recommended.

After my previous review was posted and I sent the review along with a request via email to have my…read morecase escalated, I got responses from Goosehead by email (about a 3-day turnaround) and on Yelp (several days after I received the email response). Arnolfo Rico (a service manager) was assigned to my case and helped, beautifully I might add, to resolve my long-standing issues. I was issued a $50 refund and everything I needed to have done back at the end of April was resolved in full (at this point in time) as of June 28, almost a two month turnaround. In summary: Had the account initially been set up in my name, rather than my wife's name, I suspect that I would have had 0 issues with getting all this set up. Also, in regard to definitions of responsibilities of the different positions Goosehead employs to handle client policies, I think it would be very beneficial, especially for new clients to know where they need to take their needs. I can not determine at this point whether this was my shortfall or if the company doesn't make this information as available as it needs to be when in situations such as mine. In my experience, agents (Luke) are responsible for finding competitive insurance rates when setting up a new account or when the term of the current premium is about to expire so that clients pay the lowest rates possible. Service staff (like Arnolfo) handle any changes or adjustments that need to be made to policies once they've been set up).
