The barber I got with this being my first time here did not have any knowledge of cutting African American hair. I told him not to use the razor on me and he did it any way. It caused my back neck area to break out. I hope the razor was clean. Barbers should be able to cater to all clientele not just their own race. I was not happy with this place at all. I spent my thanksgiving trying to clear up the mess they left me with on my face and back of my neck.

I appreciate hard work because most people today just want to close up shop and not take customers in late hours. However they did. Damian took care of him and my hubby is really picky but he was very satisfied with his cut . He gets a skin fade (I believe that's what it's called) and it gets progressively longer to the top of his head. I love that he did look very good once he was done. I have been going here the past few years after my last barbershop got too expensive. A clean-up will cost you about $15, with a normal haircut is $20, $25 for cut and beard, so the prices are definitely fair. The shop itself is on the smaller side, you don't always like waiting in the seating area so close to barbers dusting hair off clients. The good thing is you never have to wait long, if at all when you make an appointment, which is highly recommended even if they do take walk-ins. The only downside to this shop is that they do not take credit card, and for me, someone that doesn't like carrying cash, it can be a little annoying at times having to make a stop at the bank first. Overall, the barbershop is great with really good barbers, and I would recommend it to anyone for any style of hair you might be looking for!

Well, it took me about 60 minutes to get here today as I made an appointment to see Mateo who was…read morerecommended to help me out with grooming my beard. You may say what's the big deal about grooming a beard.... Well their is a difference. You see growing a good beard and mustache takes time and dedication and once you have a solid foundation built, it is hard to just let anyone groom or trim it unless you trust they know what they are doing. Easy to remove hair but it can't be undone if you know what I mean. Same thing with a haircut really. So upon arriving I was greeted and staff were very friendly.... I arrived early and decided to chill out and I have to say they have a nice setup for customers to hang out and wait. Comfortable sofas to spare and even a pool table if you feel like playing some pool while you wait as well. Also some cool pictures and pairings all around the shop that were both interesting and cool. This shop is located inside a warehouse district in the Doral area which should not be a problem but I did notice that parking was a little scarce, so on busy days parking could be a problem. So after a bit, I was next at bat and made my way over to Mateo's chair. After some discussion, he knew what I was looking for and proceeded to provide me with great shave, beard grooming and trimming of my handlebar mustache. I was a little nervous at first but he quickly put me at ease and most importantly went slow. Overall, it was a great experience and well worth the trip to Doral. Pretty sure the other barbers there are great as well but I will definitely be visiting Mr. Mateo again in a couple of weeks. Hope this helps and feel free to give them a shot!

After a minute of consideration I decided to get a cut, and I'm so glad I did. My barber, Carli, did a great job - everything to specification, he went above and beyond and I had him fix up my beard too, which came out flawless.
