When he went to look at the tint after I asked he had left his exacto knife and tint scraps on the drivers seat. To correct the tint job he just poked a hole in the brow, clearly visible. He was able to get me taken care of very promptly and I am beyond appreciative. This team does great work and you can tell by the long line of customers they had both in person and on the phone. Do not come here to get your tint done unless you are ok with the following: 1. Scratch lines 2. Dirt particles in a few places 3. Multiple trips back and hours wasted 4. A very dirty car when it's done They do not inspect their own work very closely at all. I paid $400 to get formula one tint on my Tesla and found two windows with scratch marks and two with dirt specs embedded in the tint. I brought it back two weeks later and left it for them to redo all four windows. They called me and said it was done and I asked if he checks to make sure no scratches of debris in windows. He said he did. I show up and there are scratches and debris on three of the four windows again. They ripped it off to do the three windows over for the third time and FINALLY it was acceptable, although my car was filthy. Of course I had been there for hours and was so frustrated that I'll have to look them over more later to make sure but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I can tell you that. Too many mistakes too many times. Ridiculous. read more

I just had my new truck windows tinted and they did an excellent job. Even though they said window tinting has to cure a few days to be clear, I could not see any evidence of streaking or hazing. There were no bubbles or loose edges either. Sometimes these window tinters can be a little messy, but X-PERT didn't leave any trace of their work. Ok, there were some footprints on my rubber floor mats. :) The guys inside were friendly and helpful. Based on their recommendation, I went with the Llumar. Their prices are a lot better than having the tinting done at a car dealer and it took them less than an hour to do all my windows (Wednesday morning). Here's some advice: Get there when they first open. On a weekday, if possible. They do dealership requests, so they can be busy. Even though the installer stuck a reminder sticker on your dash, I put painters tape on the window controls to remind me NOT to roll down the windows for 5 days. Be careful of who you get to do your window tinting. I had All Out in Richmond do a car of mine a few years ago. After a year, the tint started to bubble. The tint had a lifetime warranty, but All Out wouldn't honor it because, "we don't use that tint anymore." read more

I REALLY should have listened to the bad reviews of this place. I decided to go here seeing that they were the only Formula One tint installer in Houston. I just bought a new Lexus and brought it here because it was near the dealership. They practically butchered my car. The careless person that was putting the tint on cut into my armrest on both front doors. One was a deeper cut than the other. Unfortunately i did not see this until i got home. That's when i noticed several scratches from when they pushed the water out of the film. I would have thought a reputable tint shop would have the right tools to avoid scratching tint paper during installation. The installer didn't even clean the glass properly as there were smudge marks and dust underneath the tint! I mean come on! You have one job! I came back a couple of weeks later after personally being assured by the owner Sunny that it would be taken care of. When i came to the shop, he acted like it was the first time he heard of it happening and even began questioning whether they actually did the tint and not some other shop. Are you kidding me? I showed him the receipt to which he grumbled and asked what i wanted to do? You are the owner, make it right. It's not that hard. He didn't offer anything at all, and i demanded they take the car back in and re-tint the messed up windows and properly clean them this time to remove the smudges and dust particles. Got the car back and while it wasn't perfect, i had enough with this shop and the owner who could use a course in business management and customer service. Just look at the pictures of my "microedge" Formula One tint. You can clearly see the gap between the tint and the edge of the window are different in both pictures. The installers need some serious training at this place. Save your money and find another tint shop with another ceramic brand of film. But if you only have $75 to spend, then do it here. That's about what it's worth. I think the only reason this shop is still open is because of the local car dealerships in the area. read more
