We reached out to several flooring contractors and they were either slow to respond or gave us absurdly high quotes. Viking Wood Floors were the most responsive, easy to communicate with, and reasonably priced. Since we were still living an hour away, Kirk made sure to update us via text with pictures. He was also happy to let in our plumber to do a water heater replacement and bring in packages for us as needed. At one point, it turned out there was some miscommunication where the stair treads were refinished instead of replaced. Despite the miscommunication being my fault, Kirk was happy to get it done in time without charging us for finishing the treads again. Everything wrapped up just in time and the floors look great. They are ultra smooth and flat. Places that look tricky (through closet walls) look seamless. Thanks!
