This job involved an expansion into another room to make the bathroom more functional by adding enough space for a full sized shower and incorporated practical storage with a large vanity and medicine cabinet. Zenon's usual attention to detail that gave us results above and beyond what we expected. We are thrilled with how beautiful the stacked tile came out, perfectly straight lines! They helped at every step, giving us great people to work with to get the countertop and tiles and working with us to get the permits and the dates for the work. Once the work began, everything was smooth. His crew are considerate and professional. They did the work exactly as we planned, and everything looks amazing. The new kitchen space is really beautiful. We have so much more cabinet space than we every did. The counters and backsplash look great, and the new appliances were hooked up with no issue. Everything looks clean and professionally done. Jay had recommended a "T Table" which is an extended counter that gives a lot of extra sitting and work space in the kitchen. I would highly recommend this, as it really adds to the counter space, and makes a great space to eat and hang out. I also have to mention, that final price was very, very close to the original quote. That was a pleasant surprise and it made dealing with financing a breeze. Overall, we are impressed with our new kitchen and would definitely work with Jay and EKB again.

To make matters more uncomfortable for the person who is truly seeking some guidance in the bath renovation department, the person who tended to me told me they were pretty booked and without knowing all of the details quoted me a price of $18,000 for the renovation. Hmm...starting at that price is a turn off and really comes across as snobbery (in my humble opinion). The lady wrote my address and cell number, and said she would call me back. I of course never heard from her again. I guess (but can't say with certainty), that one has to be a resident of Westfield to experience the presence of this small storefront design firm? I Gave my business to MONKS Home Improvement from Morristown and I paid $15,000. It worked out great for me and my bathroom.

The quote was around the middle of the ones I saw, and I got a good vibe from Michael, so I decided to go with them. I'm incredibly happy with the work they did - they matched the existing features (trim, door style etc) of the house perfectly. They had good ideas and brought up things to consider, and additional costs for any changes along the way were reasonable. The guys who worked at my house were incredibly friendly and polite. The work turned out amazing - better than I had even hoped. Can't recommend them enough and will definitely go back to them for any similar work in the future.

We asked him to design our kitchen but he also does office and bathroom cabinetry. He also sells appliances and contracts work for installation, granite or tile work. We went on our own with granite only because our builder has a good deal with another company. Tip - order the cabinetry hardware online instead through him... saves you $$$. His Manhattan showroom is huge and worth a see. The one in Millburn is only a handful of kitchen designs (one country, one traditional and one modern) but it gives you a taste of what Kitchen Expressions can do.

When asked about it, his suggestion was to just get an additional space heater. When something was installed improperly, he has just gone to the cold shoulder. Garbage can drawer won't close due to poor installation (as per the cabinet manufacturer) and he won't return a call or a text to fix it. The water in the newly installed shower needed work. He wouldn't return a call or text for that. We had to call the plumbers ourselves. This score is a result of the professional people he subs work out to. His work ends up looking amazing, but he's unwilling to stand by it.
