I ordered: - Loaded Steak Gyro - Simple Greek Salad - Fries Okay, so the thick fries sort of survived delivery. Grade (3/5), $5.99 I like the Simple Greek Salad, Grade (5/5). Fresh, crunchy, and a refreshing flavor. The menu reads: "Cherry tomatoes, cucumber, pickled red onion, feta, and herbs tossed in house vinaigrette." Very good small salad. Price $6.99. Loaded Steak Gyro, Grade (4/5): This is a hefty beef gyro. Menu reads: "Tender harissa-garlic marinated Angus beef. Comes with fries, cucumber, cherry tomato, pickled red onion, feta cheese, and tzatziki in a warm pita." Okay, this is a big gyro, but I don't like how it's stuffed with fries. this place is great and has been a staple for us, however they have made a few changes that have been very disappointing. First, they changed the steak for the steak options (there used to be big chunks of steak). After this change we continued to order as loyal customers but would just stick with the chicken option. In the last few months, they removed pita as an option and replaced it with tortilla chips and that was a very disappointing downgrade. Please bring back the original steak and pita bread!! Found this place while searching for delivery. Not sure if it's a ghost kitchen? I was shocked by the few bad reviews it got because it was HELLA good and exactly what I'm always wishing for with delivery. I had the steak bowl and it was yummy. I absolutely loved how customizable it was and how there were so many choices. The sauces were delish. The bowls arrived beautifully presented, a gorgeous bowl full of color and so many truly tasty things to eat. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be all stirred together or eaten separately but I didn't care because it was fresh, healthy AND really good. The only slight criticism I could offer was that though the steak marinade had great flavor, it could've been a tad less salty, but no biggie. I can't wait to try the other things on the menu. I was on the search for a chicken wrap with the soft, thicker Greek pita (my regular rotation- Simply Greek, with their consistently perfect chicken souvlaki wrap and exemplary Greek fries no longer being an option ) --so I decided to give Xenia a try and glad I did. We ordered the chicken and falafel sandwiches and both were tasty and fresh. I found the contents well-portioned for the price in this era/area. Any food joint in the greater Bay Area with good food and fair or better portions that doesn't automatically price all meal options on their menu at $14.95 and up is automatically toward the top of my "will order again" list. Tzatziki was nicely thick and tangy. Falafel was perfectly crisp on the outside and the right amount of moist on the inside. We were able to pick up and eat our order as soon as they finished making it so that likely helped. Maybe due to previous lower ratings/reviews, they included a card with contact info for any feedback and signed by the person who prepared the order (with love!) which I appreciated as it seemed an indication the owner really is trying to achieve customer satisfaction, and better able to trace where in the process that might be addressed if it is lacking or merited. So thanks to whoever prepared our order with love- for your great work in making our satisfying meals (can't read the name but will post photo of signed name)! As part of our employee meal program, we are able to choose items from local restaurants via an app called Fooda. Today, I chose the Chicken greens and grain bowl and it exceeded my expectations! On a base of mixed greens and grains, there is homemade creamy hummus, squares of crunchy pita chips, beautiful thinly sliced radishes, sliced kalamata olives, sliced pickled red onions, feta cheese and moist and juicy thigh meat of free range chicken. A little side container of their housemade dip/sauce and a wedge of lemon. I can't tell you home many times I order chicken and it's dry from other businesses. Absolutely not the case here. The freshness and flavors were amazing and the portions was great. In fact, I am saving some of the hummus for my afternoon snack. I will definitely order again at the job and/or at their storefront. I would give them 0 if I could. Customer service sucks! I waited 2 hrs to get the take out. It was hard to reach them by phone. The order was not entered right away. I ordered online for pickup but they said the order came late. I was really frustrated and angry. They should have refunded my payment for waiting that long but never heard from them again. Very disappointed! I ordered a steak plate on doordash and was appalled by the portion sizes. I received about 4 pieces of meat on my plate and barely any rice. I really wanted to like this place. We were hopeful that the food would be good based on the photos posted by the business. We honestly feel scammed. The portion of meat is almost 1/2 of what's shown in their photos. The quality of the food was poor. The meat was completely steamed and had zero discernible texture except for that of boiled meat. The seasoning didn't taste anything like Greek or any other Mediterranean flavor. The salad was flavorless and did not seem to be freshly cut. They were running a "2 for 1" special on the chicken which seemed just strange. Why not put that money into the portion size and quality control? read more
