I purchased a new phone close to a year ago and was under the impression that this phone would receive the same discounted service. I called to bring phone in for repair and was informed that i have been paying for a service for one year for a phone that i no longer use. I feel like they should honor the discounted repair for the phone i purchased a yeAr ago since all it involves to have the new phone insured under the same plan is to let them know i have a new phone. I can proof that i purchased this phone and have used this phone since May of last year. It isn't like i am asking for something that i haven't paid for. I have paid their annual 70 fee or whatever the fee is. Bottom line is they should honor repairing my current phone or refund the discount plan fee since it is useless for me. Hard to believe they are making a big deal and losing a customer over a repair that could be as simple as cleaning out the charge port I am waiting to hear from the owner. The price was very fair and the turnaround was better than mailing the Galaxy S4 phone in for repair. At the time I was unsure if they were able to even repair these phones. I was pleasantly surprised at how up to date they were with the products and with the diagnostic pricing that rolled into the price of the repair. I called a few other places and their pricing was much higher than here for diagnostics. Thanks again for a small business with great service and pricing that can match or beat the larger chain competition. The approval for the repairs was given. Within less than 72 hours I was notified that the computer was repaired and ready for pickup. Before leaving ComputerTech I was shown that a basically dead computer was now super fast. I got my phone screen fixed a while ago and it was not a quality screen (although I paid almost…read more$200) as it started blacking out in spots less than a year later. I actually had an appointment and it still took them an hour and a half. What I have a bigger issue with is the fact that they asked for my passcode to fix my screen and then held my phone in the back for so long. I've been very uncomfortable with this and have not spoken to a manager about it because I wasn't sure if it was protocol until my husband took in his phone recently and they didn't ask for his passcode. If I don't get a response to this review I will be calling and speaking to the manager or owner about this.
