    I am reviewing this place for their satellite installation and customer service. I have nothing but…read moregood things to say. I have been dealing with Skyview off and on for almost 15 years. It started with a Dish installation. It continued with a Dish upgrade. From the owner, Duane, to the installation techs you get nothing but great service. Even if you have a problem with Dish, Duane always goes the extra mile to find a solution to get you a Dish install in your home. A few stories to illustrate this all. My mother had tree cover all over her yard. Dish and Direct tv folks had come to the house to check for signal and they told her it wasn't happening. I told mom to call Duane at Skyview. He sent a tech out and they found an easy and quick solution by putting the Dish on a poll beside the house. There was a direct line to the satellite. To this day, that install is in place. The only difference is, I am living in the house and my mom has moved elsewhere. But we upgraded a few times since then. Which brings me to the next story. Because I share a name with my mother, Dish wouldn't approve an install at the house, given possible shenanigans. Duane assured me that we would work it out. He found a solution and worked with me to make it happen. Now I have the great Dish Hopper system in the house. The tech has been to this house about 3 or 4 times upgrading or installing new systems. He has always been professional and very quick at his job. I appreciate these folks and will continue doing business with them in the future. I hope you do as well.

My TV stopped working while he was at my house and he went back and got a small monitor from his shop to finish hooking up my service and then left the tv at my house until I could get my tv fixed, could not have asked for a better experience, AWESOME!!!!! customer service.     Lousy service. Time to switch again. The Dish company doesn't care about loyal customers. They give…read morenew clients the best deal and then jack up the prices once you have been with them for a while. The longer you stay their customer, the more they screw you. Dish loves to sell you packages with all kinds of channels and then they don't honor what they sell. Several times a year multiple channels will just disappear and a message stating that because the distributor refused their offer and they no longer carry that channel. It's a bait and switch. You buy the ESPN sports channel and right at the beginning of the football season, all ESPN channels are gone. So today when 10 guys came over to watch the Penn State Game, guess what we found. Some lame Dish video complaining on how the company distributing those channels want to charge more for something The Dish network already sold you so no game for you! IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO PROVIDE THE CHANNELS YOU SOLD THEN DONT SELL THOSE CHANNELS. Time to make a switch and look into those streaming services. From what I hear I'm not the only one. They are hemorrhaging customers fed up with lousy service. Get out now if you can.

    I have been a customer of DISH for probably 15 years or longer. I got so sick of how every year…read morethey would remove a major network. Example ABC, CBS or NBC. And only one time did they give us a $5.00 credit on our bill. One day I checked and I think there were 75 channels or more that was some type of advertisement, like a sweeper, or some type of air fryer or some type of wrinkle cream and lots of infomercials. I had it with them when they removed CBS again and it had been off for over 3 months. So I called to cancel it and because I was going on vacation the guy on the phone talked me into pausing the service for 3 months until I got home. So I did that but in the mean time I went with a different t.v. service. I called DISH to cancel my service completely. That was about 6 weeks ago. So finally today after being on the phone for a couple hours I finally got it cancelled. DISH is by far the worse t.v. service. Never will they ever get back in my home. All I ever got was a run around trying to just get my service cancelled. I told the one guy today I was on the phone with that I would have a better chance of getting a sex change operation scheduled than to get this service disconnected. I wish I didn't even have to give them 1 star. They don't even deserve that. I only have 10 channels with my local service but at least I have the major networks and I use my firestick for anything else I want to watch. This was the best thing I did was get them cancelled. Good by DISH.

    My dad has been a customer with Dish since the beginning..literally. I never got involved with his…read morebills until recently (to help him learn how to pay online). I was astounded when I saw how much he pays for this service! He watches around 10 channels, 15 at the absolute maximum. Dish needs to come out with an option where we can personalize what we want to watch, not what THEY want us to watch. It's not fair that we should have to pay such an absurd amount of money for something we don't use! Plus, as soon as it starts getting cloudy we lose signal! Forget about it it rains or the wind blows faster than 5mph, our signal is gone long before then! Which brings me to my next point. We've been losing a bunch of our channels due to "complete loss of signal" for over a week now. After a 20 minute conversation with a representative I couldn't understand and a bunch of "tests" he had me run, he finally set up for a technician to come out and fix it. Fast forward to the next day, the technician assessed the issue but long story short, he couldn't fix it. Before he left he asked to use the bathroom. Which we, of course, allowed. The next person to use the bathroom noticed that the water was still running in the tank of the toilet. My dad came to the conclusion that the technician broke the flapper by pushing too hard on the handle when he flushed. Not an expensive/difficult fix but that's not the point. Moral of this review: I do not recommend Dish. Not one part of this company is worth what you'll pay.
