So today, I went there and felt so stupid because the receptionist told me that I didn't have a reservation. I told her I confirmed the 3:00 PM and 4:45 PM reservations. She checked and said none of them was reserved, but she did see the messages in their system. I was soooo upset! You have no idea how badly I wanted to get a massage today and they had my hopes up, I've been waiting to get an appointment. I was so embarrassed and upset, but didn't show it to the receptionist because it was pointless to get mad when they couldn't even fix their mistake! I wanted to pay with a credit card and got a lot of resistance. I had to pay for the massage before I received it, the lady there asked for my i.d. and studied it for over a minute. I received the massage from the man working there but he messed up and did the massage for an hour (I did think it was taking awhile but kept falling asleep so I am not sure how much time I was there). I was awoken by the younger lady there talking to the man doing my massage in their language then she went outside and I could hear her talking to the women, then man giving my massage stopped to listen then the woman came in and talk to him. She went back outside and he kept going. Five minutes later she came back in and said something to him and he then told me he was finished. The younger lady tells me that I ended up getting an hour massage. Then started hinting that they wanted me to pay for the hour. I ignored them but then kept insisting I pay a bigger tip (I already gave a big one $6 for a $15 massage that's a 40% tip) even though I was clear I wanted 30 minutes, so I ended up paying $6 more. Good massage but they need better service, communicate better, watch their time, and keep the crazy woman away from the customers.

Now for the details: Donna is a very talented woman. She feels the energy in your body and works with it gently to re-align and balance you. She is not the typical "I have 5 other appointments today and you only have 50 minutes" masseuse who will just dig right into your knots with her elbow. She slowly warms up the muscles in your body and applies gentler pressure when you're ready. You can tell her to lighten up at any time, but she'll probably be able to sense if you're tensing up. She will give you a full head-to-toe treatment, even massaging your jaw, earlobes, and the tip of your nose. I felt both pampered and drained (a great combo), and through her gentle, steady flow, I actually felt my circulation open up through the massage. Afterwards, when I stood from the table, Donna said, "You have a neck!" My neck had been hunched inward when she arrived, but through her work, she'd stretched and re-opened my vertebrae. Sufficed to say, I looked like a normal person again. I had previous experience with massage therapy, but only in a spa/salon setting. I looked into mobile masseurs because I was in pain and without my car for the week. Donna turned my cozy little library into her massage studio in just a few minutes, bringing with her a table, headrest, sheets, stool, lotion, and soothing music. She arrived promptly and it was easy to book an appointment as a first time client (as a returning client, it's even easier to book online). She's friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, with almost three decades of experience under her belt. She saw certain kinks to my body right away (like my left shoulder being higher than my right) and explained how certain muscles had been pulled or overextended by posture or gait. I was so nervous to go so I hope my review helps someone else wanting to go but too scared. Once you check-in they lead you to one of the massage beds. You sit on the end of the bed and they bring a tub of warm water to soak your feet. I throw my shoes off to the side. They bring out a large cloth with ties and hold it over you so you can take your shirt off while being covered and they tie it in the back. They lower your bra straps to the side and clip your hair up starting to work your back and neck while you're sitting up soaking your feet. Once done you will lay on your back face-up with a blanket over you and washcloth to cover your eyes. They dry your feet and begin working from your head, both arms, feet, and legs. You will flip onto your stomach and they will untie the back the cloth string (to expose your back). You can take your bra off here (I usually do). They work on your back, neck, thighs, etc. Then they bring the hot stones out. They feel amazing on your back. They put the hot stones away and re-tie the cloth strings. They continue to work on your for another 5-10minutes. Once your hour is up you sit up and put your bra back on (over the cloth) Su will untie the cloth and you can pull it out from under your bra (so you are always covered). Then you but your shirt back on, shoes, jewelry, etc. Walk to the front, pay and tip generously! I've had massages $90 each and this places charges $40 plus $10 tip! (I usually tip $15-20 because Su is the best) I came multiple times before finding a masseuse I like. Keep going until you love it! All the customers in there look so relaxed and always have a smile on their face. I came here while pregnant too (you stay face up the whole time).
