I liked Dr. Scott immediately! He is young, seems health conscious, and he listened when I spoke! He seemed genuinely interested in working with me on my concerns, as I try to lose weight and improve my health. He also referred me to a specialist I needed to see in order to follow up on a serious health issue. I made my appointment with Dr. Scott mainly because I had heard so many good things about the facility he joined-- Family Care of Santa Maria. Most of their doctors are too busy to see new patients, but they are some of the most popular and highly rated physicians in Santa Maria. I feel lucky to be able to see one of their doctors! The office is conveniently located across from Trader Joe's, and the parking is convenient. I'm as impressed with the staff at the facility as I am with Dr. Scott. He referred our son to Children's Hospital…read morein LA to do an endoscopy procedure to help diagnose his continuous croup like illness and make sure there were no structural abnormalities causing the fast narrowing (swelling) of his airway whenever he had a common cold (every month do to being in school with other young children) and would end up in the ER many times by ambulance. Luckily everything was normal and as he predicted, he grew out of it. This was around 2018-2019. He has a great office staff and the girls in the back office always loved seeing our son and offering him something in the Treasure Box after his visit. I would highly recommend him.
