Inside layout is weird like where the beer is feels like an employee only area but no you are allowed to go back there. I was absolutely disgusted with my visit to this store and I will never be going back. I went in, around 11:30pm on Friday, October 2nd 2020. I went in just to grab some sodas and an energy drink. I was in there and three black guys who, when I was overhearing their conversation, sounded like really nice guys. When I walked up to the register, one black guy was standing at the register, the other two were about 200ft away looking at juices. The cashier and the door guy (both guys that work there) were speaking to each other in a language I did not understand, but both watching the two black guys that were looking at the juices. The cashier then walked out from behind his counter and stood and watched the two until they grabbed a juice and started walking towards the register. The one that was standing at the register said "What is wrong? Did you think they were stealing? They were just looking at the juices. We don't steal, man." and the cashier said "I was just watching. We have a problem with theft, my friend. I watch everyone." As a matter of fact, he did not watch me. He did not step out from behind his register to watch me walking around the store for about 15 minutes before I picked out some colas. The cashier seemed to realize that he looked like a jerk for watching them so closely as he was backpedaling his words, trying to justify watching them so closely. The guys all said, "Just how much man, then we will go. Don't worry." They paid and left with no issue. Then it was my turn. The cashier, looking at his register, said VERY clearly "fucking niggers, pieces of shit.. " and then something about "Negro" to the other guy at the door. The door guy just laughed. I was so shocked I could not find the words to speak to these amazingly racist pieces of crap! I paid and walked out and went to find the three to let them know that I was going to leave this review and that I was so sorry for what they just went through. Seriously, to the three of you.. I am so sorry that you had to put up with that. I really hope you never give them business again. I know I will not be. And if I could give this place NO STARS, I would!!! The cashier refused to sell to me. He told me that the older $50 bill, by 2 printing versions, I had was a fake - that it didn't have the "right guy on it". He then proceeded to refuse to sell to me outright and acted like I was going to steal the beer. When I told him the casino gave it to me and showed him a google photo of who was on the bill. He then proceeded to tell me it was the "wrong guy when you looked at it in the light." It was most definitely the correct president in both the photo and the imprinted image. Been a patron of this store for years and NEVER AGAIN. I hate to be "that guy" but I can't help but feel racially targeted. I came in, well dressed... calm... with questions about my favorite wine. After asking... I proceeded to go to the aisle where I could look through their selection of Cabernet Sauvignon. To my surprise, the same employee that had just helped me followed me and acted like he was also looking at wines. Then when he saw me looking at him... he walked back to the counter and uttered something to the guy working the counter. They both began to stare while I uncomfortably picked out my wine. By this point, my husband had come into the store (who is also black and works for the government, mind you...) ... they continued to watch us as we selected what we wanted for our New Years Day nightcap. I went to the checkout line... and after paying for my belongings, I politely informed the cashier that he should consider talking to the staff about profiling and following customers, as it would make heir experience unenjoyable and uncomfortable. He then asked "who followed you?" I said "the gentleman sitting next you..." His next reply was shocking... "well, that's his job to keep people like you from stealing." Could not believe my ears. People like me? What kind of people? Gay? Black? In 2018? REALLY?! I couldn't take anymore so I told him their attitudes were unprofessional... then again... what can you expect from this place? They don't deserve the 2 stars they have. Great to know that the people I've been buying from have some cultural prejudices they need to deal with. Fortunately... I did get my wine... but I'll never buy from this place again. Wish there was a way to give zero stars. I rarely leave a bad review. I hate to hurt a business... especially since I own my own. terrible service! the only advantage of this liquor store is it's close to the strip. I went there to buy some liquor on a friday night and after I left the store, I couldn't find my phone. So I called my cellphone to see if it's somewhere in my car. The phone wasn't shut off and it wasn't in my car. So I decided to call back the liquor store. the person said they didn't find any phone. Then I asked if I can come back and check myself. The person said sure but insisted they didn't find my phone there. However, when I called my phone again right after I told them I was coming back to check, it was shut off. I don't know if it was just a coincidence or they were scared of my phone might ring when I come back to check and call it again. And just to be fair to them, I clearly remembered talking on the phone with one of my friends before heading over to the liquor store. So the chance that I lost my phone in the liquor store is very highly! On top of that, the liquor is ghetto as hell and doesn't have plastic cup for customers. What kinda of a liquor store is it if it doesn't even have cups? Don't go there if you don't want to lose your phone ! read more
