Scheduled an appointment for a Paint Protection Film for my new car. My car dealer had recommended it and with all the construction going on around town and tons of trucks, industrial vehicles and weather around SA, I wanted to protect the paint. When we heard about the service, my husband called several times and no one called back?? They just corresponded via text and email, no personal interaction until we got to the shop. We even brought it up to our car dealer and he said that if we didn't hear back after a certain amount of time that he would try to reach out to them. Finally, they corresponded with a price via email and time available via text. I finally brought it in as I was on vacation for a few weeks. When we got to the shop, no one greeted my husband according to him as I was still outside. No salutations. He proceeded to tell them his name and what car we were dropping off. The rep was with another employee on the computer in the front desk. When they finally got to us, they took our info and the rep explained the process, other services they provide if we wanted in the future, e.g., Ceramic Coating and Window Tints, how long the job would take, how to take care of it and how long it would have to fully cure and to not allow water to sit on the top for now as it is a porous product. They also offer an Uber if you needed a ride home. After the paperwork was completed, I asked if we could look at the shop in the back so there's a waiting area with windows to view the process and application. Pretty cool and I noticed lots of high-end vehicles being serviced. You could really see the attention to detail when positioning the film on even the front Grill area of an SUV. It was going to take about 1-1/2 days to complete. We heard back in the late afternoon the next day so we told them we'd pick it up the next morning. When I picked up my car, there was a female rep helping me out behind the counter and I think she was being cross-trained but was very thorough. She also gave me a free Detail Spray with Microfiber Cloth kit. After explaining the warranty & paying, the original rep walked out with us to see the car. We looked at the seams, detail, checked under the hood, looked if there were any bubbles or imperfections. He said if there were any imperfections or bubbles that we notice, that we could just call and notify them. We wouldn't have to make an appointment. He reiterated how to take care of the car with the film coating & explained that brushless car washes are recommended because the brushes on regular car washes can damage the coating as well as your paint. Plus the brushes pick up other dirt from other grimy vehicles like trucks and can transfer them to your car. Good to know. He mentioned the other services again and mentioned that the Window Tints & how it minimizes heat esp. in the hot Texas summers. We were impressed at the work and in the coming days/weeks/months will monitor how it wears and if we see any imperfections. read more

We couldn't be more satisfied with our experience with Xpel San Antonio. On the first day, I went in to inquire about their products and services. I was welcomed and greeted by Karina, Madi and Chris. Karina explained the different levels of PPF and window tint they have to offer. Within less than 15 minutes or so, I was able to choose the products I wanted installed on our family vehicle and an install date was scheduled! She answered all of my questions and never rushed me. Once scheduled, I received a confirmation text message from her with the appointment reminder. Leading up to the date, I received reminders and I was able to text the same number if I had any questions. While I was looking through the waiting room window, into their install bays, Marco, an installer came into the waiting area. He explained the entire installation process from start to finish. The amount of detail put into this type of work is remarkable. I chose Marco to be our PPF installer and he did not disappoint. While doing the install, I was updated with the progress and possible pickup date/time. I received a text about 6 hrs ahead of schedule, notifying me that my vehicle was ready! Karina educated me on what to do and what not to do for the next 48 hours or so with my vehicle, to ensure optimal results - that was great. Marco greeted me in the lobby and thanked me for choosing him to be our installer. The vehicle was taken to the front of the business for my family and I to take a look. Marco spent the time to walk us out and discuss the work he did. He showed us every area that PPF was installed, had me feel the difference between the PPF and the areas of paint that have no PPF. He educated me on how to change my car-washing habits from now on. Xpel gifted me a special spot-cleaner for my PPF as well! Marco's professionalism, attention to detail, communication, and his passion for what he does, will definitely have us coming back for more services at Xpel. Our Sienna may not be the usual Ferrari or Lamborghini he's accustomed to working on, but he treated it as if it were a million dollar vehicle. I truly appreciate his hard work and passion in what he does. The window tint is the best I've seen before! Drew did an amazing job. I've had our many vehicles tinted numerous times and his tinting skills are amazing. The tint outlines are so close to the actual window shape, that you can hardly even see where the tint lines start and stop. Before the install, he asked me exactly what we wanted done for the windows - we made sure it was what was best for us and this Texas heat! Added it to the basket and went to check-out. 1st gripe: Cannot check out as a guest, you are forced to register. 2nd gripe: After registering you cannot log-in. Spinning loading wheel for infinity. Tried with cookies, without, different browser, had a friend try with his computer too. No-one can log in, it just does not work! 3rd gripe: The "contact us" form. You are forced to give your first name, last name, company, full address (...) I'm almost surprised they didn't ask for my social security #. I went there when I worked for a car dealership and a customer wanted the front of the vehicle protected. Chris the GM took care of us like he would with every other customer and we checked out the vehicles they took care off. We picked it up the next day as it was a hot day and the cured it over night in the ACed garage. They did an awesome job and I would go there with my private vehicle as well when I get a new ride sometimes in the future. When we left we saw some guy that had a bad job done that needed assistance and Chris said they get this all the time that other companies don't produce and they are asked to fix it. About 72 hours after I got my 2015 F80 M3 San Antonio started hurling road crud at me so I looked up reviews for different methods of paint protections, bimmer post was very pro-xpel and so I did more research and found out it was Headquartered here in town! I went down and saw two Ferraris and a lambo, i figured if it was good for enough for those cars it was good enough for me. After seeing what pebbles and stones did to my previous car I knew that I had to have some type of paint protection for my new car. I did some research and found that there are a lot of companies offering paint protection products. I wasn't sure where to start. So, I happened to go to a car show in San Antonio to see the new Ford Focus RS in person and I ran into Michael Dobbins from Xpel. They had a booth set up with a couple of cars that had their ultimate self healing product on display. After a demo with a wire brush, I was sold on the product. The question was no longer if I would get it, but whether I would get clear or satin finish. I wasn't sure until I saw the car in person in sunlight. I knew then that it had to be clear. It was a long wait to get my RS, a process that started with an October order and ended with a July delivery. Over the last 2 months I was in contact with David Dick at Xpel. He kept penciling me into the schedule since he knew I wanted it wrapped as soon as it came in. He was very patient as we moved the date several times until I finally received the car. Thankfully they were able to take it that day. He was great to work with throughout this process. I got the Xpel Ultimate self healing over the entire car and added ceramic window tint to all windows. Dropped her off on Monday and picked her up the following Monday. Everything looks great, you wouldn't know there was a wrap on it unless you were told. Fantastic job! 10 year warranty on the wrap and lifetime on the tint. I'm not going to lie, I was a bit apprehensive dropping off my new car. I know that for many it's just a Ford Focus RS, no big deal, but for me it is a huge deal. I've been looking forward to this car for a long time. It turns out that I was worried about nothing. They were super excited to see the car and took great care of her even though she didn't have an exotic lineage! Dropped her off with 30 miles...picked her up with 30 miles...no Ferris Buehler moment (for those who worry about that sort of thing, and let me tell you, when you've been looking forward to something for so long, you worry about stupid things). Everyone I came in contact with at Xpel was friendly, knowledgeable, and showed great interest in my car. The quality of work is exceptional. Michael did a photo shoot with video that was very professional, you would have thought we were shooting a commercial, awesome! Talk about making you feel good about your car! I knew it was special to me, but it turns out it was special to them as well. I think every car is special to them. That should make every customer and potential customer happy. I got my paint protection film installed on my car and the experience and the product couldn't have been better. In San Antonio you have some crappy roads and plenty of rocks, bugs, careless people and other general crap that hates your paint. If you care about your car's finish and want an extra layer of protection for your paint...get the film. Though they took appointments, I just stopped by their location and talked to David about their new Ultimate self-healing product. He helped explained the pros and cons of the film. Though I noticed some rather nice exotics in the garage, Xpel was still able to take my car and start the installation process that day. There were various issues that came up on my side... needed a place to hang out for a few hours then needed a ride and finally had a bike rack on my car which needed tools to remove. Xpel was able to help out with every one of those issues. Outstanding customer service! About a day later I picked up my car and you cannot tell there is any film on my car unless you look really closely and only on an edge where you'll see a slight seam. This film is transparent, easy to take care of, offers great protection and has a 10 year warranty against defects, hazing or coloring. This product is expensive, but if you plan on keeping your car in good condition and want your paint looking new many years down the road...get the film. Oh also they have some products to protect your door edges, rocker panels and a matte finish film. read more
