The mud kitchen, sensory station, painting area, customized scented play dough, potion making station, fairy garden, child-sized table with custom mushroom stools, teepee house... there was something special for every single child. Even my ten-year-old had a blast exploring the sensory play stations! What I loved most was how intimate and personal everything felt. On our daughters very first day of school, her teachers, Ms. Serena and Ms. Malih were so caring and thoughtful with her. She was nervous to be there and didn't want us to leave in the morning. Ms. Serena took her by the hand and spoke gently with her, and made her feel more comfortable. We knew we were leaving our daughter in good hands that morning, and the positive experiences continued on until our last day of school. The office staff is very friendly, and always makes me feel as if I'm part of the MCS family when I talk to them on the phone, or see them in person in the office. Whenever I stop by the office with my daughter, Ms. Galina goes out of her way to say hi to her and often gives her a warm hug and sometimes a sticker =) I would highly recommend Montessori Childrens School to my anyone I know that I is looking for a wonderful, caring place for the children to go to school / daycare, or anyone that plans to continue with the Montessori teaching philosophy.

She has been compassionate, kind, understanding and willing to assist to meet his preferences and needs. When I first toured I was SO impressed with their attention to cleanliness & infection control. From the moment I stepped in the door Ms. Pinar & Mr. Avni welcomed me with such warm energy, happy and inviting. They made me put on booties over my shoes and wash my hands. Which was a first! My son was 5 months when he started but I was so happy and impressed to see all the learning tools and hear about how they help the children with real life skills. In this time my son has grown immensely, not only physically, but mentally, and emotionally as well. Mrs. Maria cooks home made food that my son is obsessed with. Mr. Avni teaches him manners, to play soccer and even piano. My son speaks with incredible pronunciation and has a very wide vocabulary for a 2 year old and I have no doubt it's from the education this daycare provides while my husband and I work. I would think twice about this place…read more I had my two year old son on the list here and was told I had a spot in their two year old classroom. My son has autism though, and so they said I needed an aide or they would not allow him to attend. So I went through hell to get the aide set up. It took weeks and hours and hours on the phone and filling out paperwork. And then I went to tour the two year old class with my son. I told them I wanted him to be with kiddos his own age to have the opportunities to learn the skills other two year olds were learning. And everything was fine, but when I was leaving after the tour they said they had decided it was a good idea to start my son in the younger classroom, which they said was 18-36 months. Even though he had a spot in the two year old class? But then when I asked for the pricing schedule for that class, it was listed as 12-24 months. My son is two and a half. So I called back and said why are you trying to put my two year old son in a class that's not for his age when you told me there is a spot in the two year old class? And they insisted there were two year olds in the class. But when I pushed to find out exactly how many, I found out they were actually moving all of the two year olds up to the two year old class right when my son would start, so he would not have any kids the same age in that class. And they had given my spot in the two year old class away to one of those kids. So now I no longer had the spot that existed for him anymore. As if life wasn't hard enough being a parent of an autistic child. It's hard as hell. And then you have to deal with people trying to deny your kid the same opportunities as other kids. My son is a sweet, gentle little two year old boy, no behavioral issues, loves being around other kids, and he was going to have an aide for the time he was there at their insistence. And he needs the opportunity to learn the same skills other kids learn in daycare. If you have an autistic child or know anyone who has an autistic child, think carefully about which businesses you want to support and which you don't.

The staff has been great with potty training my 2 year old and more recently my 4 year old learned how to write his name. Coming from an at home daycare and a more popular chain style daycare and not having the best experiences, I have truly found the right fit. Every single person that works at this location is exceptional. They give wonderful feedback on both my children and stay in great communication. You can tell that they really do care about the children and their families.
