    Glow carts

My 4 year old really wanted to drive go karts and she was not able to director her height and age another establishments, but Xplore had mini glow carts perfect for her. Went here on a weekday, from the second we came in greeted by front desk and the staff member upon selling us tickets brought us to glow carts. His name was Johnathon and I'd like him to be acknowledged as he spent extra time teaching my daughter and coaching her through her first run (5-7 mins each run well worth it) she went back for her second run excited and again her took his time with her. She was not placed with older kids, and the fact he was so caring, it made her day. The rest of the place was great! Inflatable area and games and claw machines all made a great day at a great price. My daughter picked her prizes and left there excited to come back. We will be back 5 stars for Johnathon and Xplore

This is a Fun place for the family. I was invited to a kids party and myself, my husband, my 1.5 and 3.5 year old children enjoyed it! This was our first time here and plan to be back, God willing.

It was great. The staff and the ambiance. Everything seemed to bring out the joy and the jubilance from everyone it seems to enter Xplore. I had an awesome time, one which I will not forget anytime soon, nor do my boys who has another favorite places to visit and have amazing experience with other kids. The staff was polite and professional, thanks to their relentless leadership from their GM, she made my time there extremely enjoyable and safe. There is so many fear in this world now, perhaps places like this one can remind us that we can all be united and find happiness in simplest moments. I count the days that I walk back into Xplore, chasing after my sons. P.S. LaserTag is an unforgettable experience that you will make you feeling like a that little kid you once were. Thank you everyone at Xplore. Keep being great.

Everything is haphazardly taped together. Or not.

Xplore (both locations) and Safari have always been our go-to for open play and birthday parties for our children for years. Commack was always the easiest to manage with multiple children due to its layout, so was always a first choice for play dates. Unfortunately, unlike Port Jeff and Safari, the Commack Xplore has taken a turn for the worse. Even though the prices were increased, the equipment and staff leave much to be desired. So much of the equipment is damaged or missing, all of the upgrades made are for activities that require additional payment, and the front desk staff is very unfriendly. It's such a difference from their other locations, and SO disappointing! It makes such little sense that I'm paying $49.97 for two kids without a sibling discount. When asked what was included in the price other than the 3 inflatables and jungle gym, I was told the price increase includes laser tag, which you have to be 6 or older to partake (only one of my kids). The brand new go karts, the video arcade and virtual games are not included. If the prices were increased for just open play, then it should be reflected in the quality of the back open play area. It's a shame because the staff at Port Jeff, as well as their equipment and what's included (rock wall, zip lining, etc) is incredible. This will no longer be my recommendation to playgroups or friends.

My friends and I had a blast here! As we left the building, I commented on how my face hurt from smiling and laughing so much. So thanks to Lazerland for that! We were a group of 9 that started playing Lazer Tag around 12 PM on a Sunday afternoon. I definitely recommend going early if you can- as there was way less people, and the first two games were played by just our group. We payed $21 for 3 games which is a pretty good deal. The room is two levels with fun electronic music playing. A gun I had in the second game didn't work- which they let me swap out for in the middle of the game. They also gave us the option to play teams or "free for all" when we went in. Overall game play was very fun! Lazerland also has some arcade games, a prize center, and laser beam room. What they lack is an area for hot food- not a huge minus. They do sell small snacks like chips and candy. We thought about playing dogeball but got a weird price quote from the girl working the counter. ($25 for unlimited laser tag and dodgeball? But we just payed $21 for 3 laser tag games.) And despite the Free Play times overlapping with the private parties, causing some delays- we will definitely be back. Lazerland is a great value and a super fun facility!

Yes, I was in a Laser Tag battle with nine year olds that kicked my butt. This is a tag game played with guns which fire infrared beams. The Infrared-sensitive targets are worn by each player and are integrated within the arena in which the game is played. Each Laser gun has a name associated with your score. When you exit the arena you can find your score at this arena on the upper score board and they also provide you with a print out. I had the highest hits against me and the lowest score. That will be the last time I challenge nine year olds. Next time I will challenge a group of senior citizens. I believe Laser tag can be played by all ages. When you compare it to paintball, laser tag is painless and for me, that is the only way I will avoid being carried out of the arena.

This place was so bad! I went to camp with my friends and came here. We ended up losing some money due to a snack machine, everything was out of service and we couldn't win anything! When me and my friends were playing a game that we could get squishmellows a bar fell down after playing once! None of the games even works

They sell black light makeup to play with!

We had visited or researched all of Long Island's laser tag facilities and found Lazerland of LI to be the best, by far.

The place honestly hasn't changed all that much over the years, but it still looks really good. You can tell they do ongoing maintenance because it doesn't have that run down feeling that some mini golf places can get. My kids absolutely loved it. Mini golf can be a little boring for younger kids, but the glow lights, statues, and different obstacles made the whole experience much more interesting for them. They were having a great time and definitely want to go back. The course could use a little more variety, though. Some of the holes are pretty straightforward, and I think adding a few trickier obstacles or making each hole a little more unique would make it even better. That said, it was a great beginner experience for my kids and a good way to get them interested in mini golf. The facility was clean, the staff was friendly, and even the bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus. We also spent some time in the arcade, and the kids really enjoyed that too. The games are probably a little expensive per play compared to some other arcades, but everything was working, clean, and the games and machines seemed pretty up to date. We used a Groupon, which helped save some money. I did notice there were actually some better deals advertised on the Monster Mini Golf website if you use a promo code, but unfortunately we tried multiple times and couldn't get the code to work. Overall, we had a really good time. It's not the most challenging mini golf course out there, but for younger kids, the theme and atmosphere make it a lot more fun than a basic course. My kids had a blast, which is really what matters.

Also looks like they have some private rooms for birthday parties. I wish we had found this place when my son was younger as we would likely have done a birthday here. Only thing this place could use would be a snack bar/food but they do have beverages for sale.

However, I think the staff need better training and more consistent supervision. The ball pit is about 3 feet deep, which can be difficult for younger toddlers to climb out of. I witnessed a mother ask a staff member for help because her toddler was stuck. Instead of assisting, the staff member simply stepped into the ball pit and asked the toddler if they could climb out. The child was clearly unable to, which was the reason the mother had asked for help in the first place. In the end, the mother had to climb into the ball pit herself to get her child. Then at the race car track, staff allowed toddlers who were below the recommended height to ride. I personally didn't think this was a major safety concern since the cars have seat belts. However, after one toddler had started riding, the staff asked the child's mother to remove them because they couldn't drive properly. I understand that other children were waiting (including mine), but if staff decide to allow younger children to participate, they should let them enjoy the full experience unless the parent chooses to end it early. The most disappointing experience happened at the Sky Rider attraction. Children under the height requirement were being allowed to ride, but when it was my son's turn, he was stopped and told he was too small. The child in front of him was visibly shorter and had already been allowed to ride several times. Naturally, my son was very upset. I spoke with the staff member to understand why the rules were applied differently. His response was that after he made the comments, he let my son ride once, but "he got sour and ran away." That comment was unnecessary and unprofessional. My son is on the spectrum, and assumptions like that can be especially hurtful. More importantly, all children should be treated fairly. Overall, the playground itself is excellent and offers plenty for kids to enjoy. My biggest concern is the lack of professionalism in some staff interactions.

The check-in area was very crowded due to the many birthday parties, and the long line was also confusing. At first, a staff member approached us and asked if we had completed the waiver. By the time we finished it, the line looked even more confusing. I had to stop another staff member to clarify whether we were in the right line. It turned out we weren't. The front desk staff responsible for check-in seemed overwhelmed and stepped away twice, so it was a little chaotic just trying to get in. The rest was fun, though. They have a spacious seating area for adults, and overall it felt pretty safe for kids.
