Here we go, Heads up yelpers on Sunday after 8pm you can bowl for 25 cents. Pretty cool right. So now that people are aware of this its starting to get a bit crowded on Sunday night. This is a great bowling alley! The prices are cheap, and they have great staff. Certain nights they have cheap games that are .25 each, give them a call for more info on deals! The lanes are almost always oiled and they have a room dedicated to all different balls to borrow....including pro balls and custom ones (if you need that curve). I was impressed to see that they give you the option not to use plastic. Another plus is that they give special needs individuals and their family/staff discounted rates...plus, they have a special league for them as well. Great bowling alley! read more

Absolutely the best bday party a young autistic child could ask for! Seeing that our daughter is turning only 5 years old but is very nervous with over-stimulation and lots of people and is almost non-verbal.... we felt sincerely blessed to be welcomed by ALMOST EVERY STAFF MEMBER beginning to end. A great start with polite and kind customer service from jump! It made us feel welcomed and delighted to have them make the effort. We weren't just another family or another kid coming in. They all even asked about helping with items in the car and we were given the area promptly and professionally to set up with help whenever we needed it. Also, we were given a sweet, kind and very patient young lady to help w/our get together. The food was yummy and each kiddo had their own choice which was nice it's not easy to make all different items on the fly! We had a blast with bowling for an hour or so and nice quiet area to ourselves! On the backend we were treated kindly from step1 getting a date etc, to the end when checking out and pricing was in point and actually way more reasonable then we thought. To know this company is so nice to kids with special needs makes me beyond sure we will be back very soon to enjoy more fun family days together there and our appreciation is more then I can say to the entire staff and the young lady we'll call her Miss. I've been coming here since I was 7 for Saturday morning bumper leagues. Then, I bowled in regular Saturday morning league and then scholarship league on Wednesday/Friday nights. Always good deals like quarter-mania, early Sunday bowling.... always fun here! Do NOT go to Bowlero or any bowling chain. It is simply a rip off. Came here on a complete whim with my son while driving around the Island. The lanes are clean and all, nice little arcade, etc., but the organization of the balls left something to be desired. Since I was visiting I didn't have ball or shoes, so finding a ball at least near the weight I want (forget about the drilled holes) was challenging since balls appeared to be randomly stored all over the lanes. Also, although they appear to have very modern pinsetting/scoring equipment, it did NOT show the pins left after your first roll, which I found strange. In any case, I beat my son both games, so that was a big plus. About $4.50 per line and also for shoes. read more

To start my Long Island Suffolk-Nassau Bowling Tour, I decided to swing by East Islip Lanes. The building is very big, and even inside, they have 40 lanes with Brunswick A2s at the end of each lane. What makes it better is that they even have the 40 lanes all on one side. When I commented that it was bigger than Port Jeff Bowl, the employee laughed and agreed. I got two hours of unlimited bowling on lane 16, which was a well-maintained lane, so that's always a plus. Their scoring systems seemed to be Chinese knockoffs of Qubica-AMF Bowland-X scoring systems, but nevertheless, they looked nice and had 3D effects too. I managed to get some strikes and overall, it was a very fun time. Although I didn't get food there, I finished my trip by going to Central Islip's 7-11 to grab a feastables chocolate bar (which are a lot better than Hershey's) and to Branchinelli's in Hauppauge to grab a slice of pizza and some garlic knots. 9/10 read more

I am a 23 year old woman and I was having a great time with my girlfriends and I was drinking my 3rd drink and then the bartender came over to me and snatched my drink out of my hand and walked away for no reason at all. I don't recommend this establishment . She was very rude and I am in disbelief that this happened. I left right after with no plan on ever going back. read more

It's a pretty typical bowling alley. Crazy patterned, old carpet, red and blue shoes to rent, etc. The food is typical bowling alley food, not great but exactly what you want when bowling. I get a bit sentimental about this place because this is the bowling ally where I learned how to bowl and where I rolled a perfect game. This is an old school bowlers bowling ally. It's not new or even that modern. It's great for families and large groups. They have party rooms and a full bar. Ricks pro shop has some great deals for those of you that are tired of having to rent shoes and are tired looking for a ball that fits your fingers. They also have some of the best prices around. They still have quarter mania nights as well as neon light bowling if that's what your into. I highly Recommend this ally to everyone. This place is a cool convenient spot to come bowling. Usually no wait times! Ran into a small little issue where we were assigned lanes but couldnt add our last player. Upon asking the manager Jaime up front, she quickly told me if I cant add someone, someone didn't pay. Went back to my group of couples, everyone paid. I end up going back to her and telling her everyone indeed paid, so if we can just be moved to another lane where we could all play. She started checking the receipts and told us she'll add a player on the lanes. Wasn't until I asked for the manager, where she told me she was, is when I told her her response earlier was extremely rude, and that she didn't apologize. I work with customer service all day. Ended up apologizing once she realized I was a little serious and not a group of teenagers but adults. Just thought worth mentioning. Hate places that assume you're trying to one up them because you look young. Not a deal breaker, just keep the receipt. Came here in Presidents' Day because they advertised 2 hour bowling for $11 and came at 1 and they had a league going on and told us it was an hour and a half wait!! Why advertise a special and then not have enough lanes to bowl! read more

Since the last review I read the place may be a little dated but is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Their snack bar has decent prices. Their pro shop where I get all my family's bowling needs is very good price wise and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this establishment to all my friends. read more

It's a bowling alley. What else can you really say. They have pins, gutters, lanes, oil, etc. the people are cool and quartermania is cheap. You can bowl all night for a few dollars. read more

I've been bowling at this "house" since 1996. Like everything else, change comes with time. Perhaps, yes - it is a bit noisy due to the teens that hang around even when they're not bowling. These lanes were renovated a while ago and epending on the weekday and time you choose to bowl there, it may not be as clean, but the staff is attentive in maintaining it as clean as possible. As to the rental of shoes, please bear in mind that most bowlers here are on leagues and have their own bowling equipment. The "house" shoes may not be the latest style, but they're not dilapidated or ready for the garbage either. In addition, there is a staffed babysitting room also. read more

I always love coming down here on the weekend to bowl and play my violin. Sometimes I come just for the food!! The vibes here are totally above par. This bowling alley has the best balls. The shoes are comfortable and come in all sizes, I always come down here excited to try on new shoes!(my foot size is 6 womens). My highest game I've ever had here is a 70 a personal best!!! I even got a strike once #PBA! The one complaint I have is the rowdy kids. But overall great experience. read more
